Extreme grind, which can be fun, however, you are much slower than other creatures, so you spend hours farming and making foods to heal, only to burn through them in a matter of minutes. This requires you to rely on cheese tactics, such as hiding in between the trees that are just wide enough for you to fit to be able to face more than one creature at a time. Death has a chance to drop items from your inventory, which could mean those hours of farming for a specific item (such as a piece of cold or warm gear) is wasted instantly.

Pretty much lamest, grindiest game i ever played. I went back to try it a few times always end up the same way, its way too grindy, way too clunky for the grind they require you to do and worst of all mobs are imbalanced and death penalty is way too bad for this clunky of a game.
Fun at the beginning, but quickly a bit too grind-y.. certainly for a single player game
A fun although at times grind-like game. I would say the grind aspect is the crafting of the better health and stamina items likely needed for combat - because ultimately you will be engaged in melee to reasonably defeat most things unless ping-ponging aggro with friends through ranged combat. My "pro-tip" would be to dual wield your weapon / tool of choice, or in other words, in terms of this game's mechanics, coordinating the switching of two like items in the hot key slots (i.e. a mace in both slots 1 & 2). Besides that, FoN is an as advertised, enjoyable game without the need or temptation of using a wiki or other third-party tool.
Really outdated graphics, but overall great game that sucks u in. Best to play with someone and for lowers of grinding, theres a lot of it!
After a long journey, I finally beat the game. Even though I read some reviews that the game crashes later, I only had 1 crash and never had another one throught my playthrough. Its "simple" but fun, I felt a great sense of satisfaction every time I managed to get a shard of the force of nature and manage to upgrade my equipment, weapons and supplies.
Though there are some cons (not for me but probably for others)
- A bit of micromanagement (tools, workstations and their attachments)
- The game starts slow but after a few hours it will feel a bit faster.
- Not many guides available, especially for "end-game"
Do I recommend Force of Nature? Yeah, though if you are not sure, buy it on discount and see it for yoursefl.

Very grindy chill game.
Much of the gameplay is very slow and clunky. While I enjoy survival and crafting based games, this one did not keep me engaged.
