What does it do?
Serious Sam Fusion 2017 enables a lot of cool new features, like a common workshop and cross-game mods. All of the games can be started from one application, so you can jump between playing The First Encounter level to a Serious Sam 3 level and back without exiting the game. When listing game servers, servers playing TFE, TSE, SS3 – will all appear in the same list and you can vote map across games if you want. Oh, and owners of our VR games are able to play multiplayer together with their "flat" counterparts!Since there are so many changes and exciting new features, we'll just go ahead a list them here as bullet points.

Quite fun in co-op. Too bad it's abandoned in beta stage. But I haven't seen any bugs yet.
This game is much like Serious Sam: Classics Revolution where it is meant to be a platform in which you can play any of the Serious Sam games that are in the Serious 3.5 engine, like Serious Sam 3 and the remakes of the classic Serious Sam games. It's even free just like Classics Revolution. You also don't need those games installed for this game to automatically mount them if you own them on you account, which is good for storage space. Do note that there is VR support but that's purely optional and, yes, this game is in a perpetual state of being in Beta but it is perfectly playable with little to no game breaking bugs present. That's about it, really.
Classic Serious Sam action and extensive mod support.

it has so many bugs likely moving or clip inside tree or even monster clip inside them so im not recommend to play it and also lag spikes even i had gtx 1650 and around 100 fps+

Sam is serious
Constant game crashes. Sometimes won't load the saved game. Gave up trying to finish the game.
Got this with the BFE edition (I think), and it's really awesome that they made something like this.

Serious Sam Fusion adds all your Serious Sam games (like Serious Sam HD and BFE) so you can play them much easier, which I think is very convenient. Also it has a great and talented modding community with a lot of awesome custom campaigns , maps , and other mods which makes the experience that much better!

It was when I had 7 years old, My Father bought me this game. When I opened this game on my computer I was shocked. It was really startling and now when i am replaying in this game I remember these moments of my childhood.
Still in Beta
Flat with VR coop games seem to keep crashing. You can see they said they are working on the problem, but it was not fixed since 2019

Wow! Great Job Croteam!! You fixed 0 BUGS! Added 700+ more bugs! and have refused to update this piece of shit for 3+ fucking years. But to be fair this is basically how serious sam games are now a days. Just broken depressing wastelands that never get updated. What a joke.
I am a long time console gamer and relatively new to the PC space (bought my first gaming PC in 2019, and a Steam Deck in 2023 and have never looked back.
Serious Sam, for me, is the PC equivalent of Timesplitters 2 and Future Perfect. It's got the same off-brand sense of humor, it's violent in a humorous way, and it just doesn't take itself very seriously.
The one thing I'll say about SS is it is better than the Timesplitters games' campaigns in about every conceivable way.
I cannot speak for Multiplayer as I've not tried it, yet.
But a couple of things you should know about if you're considering trying Serious Sam for the first time.
1. Serious Sam First Encounter HD, Second Encounter HD, SS 2, and SS 3 all work within Serious Sam Fusion, which is basically a one stop shop launcher to play ALL of your Serious Sam game content in one place.
2. From what I understand, playing in Fusion has a few additional perks, which I cannot compare with because my only experience with these games is within Fusion.
3. The graphics are great, super clean artstyle, runs REALLY well on the Steam Deck (First Encounter HD can run at 4K 60 while docked and in split screen coop, which honestly blew my friend and I away).
4. It's super old school in feel. Enemies come at you in droves, you need to prioritize which enemies to kill first otherwise you'll be toast quickly. It's challenging but at least on Normal I have not had any issue with continuing to make progress after a few tries.
5. It will make you a better FPS and TPS player just by playing. My reactions and aiming accuracy in Helldivers 2 have both improved from playing this game.
6. Serious Sam has 4 player split screen coop, and 16 player coop online...Now to find more friends lol.
7. The ancient Egypt vibe is AWESOME and I love it so much.
8. If this review hasn't convinced you to try this game then you must not like fun. Go back to COD ya bum.
Don't be fooled into thinking that buying a copy of First Encounter HD will allow you to play in VR through the Fusion app because it say's it supports VR. You have to purchase the VR version of First Encounter HD to do that!
I keep troubleshooting with coop mode.

Well its 3 Serious Sam games in 1 launcher, all of them are good games, but the mods is what it makes really fun. If you want a first mod sugestion to mess with, try "PIKD-3000/3001" on the workshop. (Don't forget to launch the modded version of the game).

TFE: This game had a REALLY rough start with me i almost refunded it but i stuck through all the bullshit and I'm glad I did this game is a really solid boomer shooter. Now I do not like desert themes i never had but this game really pulled me in with the jungle levels and just great weapons all feel like solid choices my only downside for this game is the steep learning curve at the start but once you get the tommy gun the game feels fun 7.5/10
