Introvert Quest is a comedy based JRPG set in a fictional, modern setting. In it, the player will experience the life of a socially awkward shut-in named Bryce Han, who is pushed into (for him Herculean) tasks by his therapist and friend of his late father, Dr. Abe Eisner.
Through the intensive four day therapy, the player will tackle tasks such as: going to the store, making new friends, finding a part time job and many more. But, even such menial tasks can hold may dangers of a big city for one not used to its streets. Scammers, beggars and delinquents lurk around every corner waiting for unsuspecting targets.
Make friends and enemies in this twisted modern day RPG where every day activities seem like a grueling tasks for the player to deal with. Be careful what you do or say for every choice will have some consequences in the future, for the past choices cannot be rewritten!
The gameplay of Introvert Quest will feature mostly dialogue based adventuring, concentrated on a multiple choice system. Choices will impact future events and interaction with other characters inhabiting Sky City. Introvert Quest also features JRPG style battles, but not as a main focus (mostly optional, plus an entire optional mini game aspect: Digital Duels a game that a lot of people play). Battles will be turn based with highly animated attacks. And lastly, but most importantly, after finishing the game successfully, the player will be thrust into a new, completely different experience.

It's a weird game, kinda uncomfortable. That might be the point of it? I don't know the dev's intent.
Nice game once they fixed the bugs, the new ending will make you an introvert
Within span of 10 minutes, i got mugged and beaten by thugs, woke up on hospital, taken hostage and my 10 bucks stolen by pickpocketer. But here are real problems with this game,
- Game breaking bugs. The bug i encountered is getting 2nd duck after talking to same person twice, so i can't going to another location or contrinue the story .
- Only 1 save slot. While i could understand it's used to prevent save scumming, many save slots could be used as workaround for game breaking bugs.
- Optional quest isn't written on your journal.
While premise of the story is fine and i enjoyed first 30 minutes, it ended in disappointment. If you're really interested with the game, please wait until the developer release another patch.
The mapping is terrible, but the dialogue is really great. Bought it at the time of 83% discount, so no regrets.
Short but sweet with a good sense of humour.
For those who encountered bugs, you may be able to modify the save files to fix the issue, eg. for me the screen brightness was set to 0 after a cutscene.
These RPG games with a lot of text that needs reading are not for me.
It's quite short, but a beautiful and unique RPG. It's more story-based, you won't find too many fights. But it's pretty, pretty and I really liked it!
The game has a few spelling mistakes, but other than that, no negative points.

I always wanted to play this game but the reviews pointed out many gamebreaking bugs so I never tried. After seing a discount and a new patch 1.2 I gave it a try. The game is quite funny and there is a lot of side content going on. I did not encounter any bugs and I am currently on day 3. Introvert quest is one of the more unique RPG Maker games out there since there is very little combat and the game mostly revolves around making choices and going around town which is a nice change of pace from the sea of other rpg maker games. Thumbs up
I got this game on the winter sale for a few bucks and it is better than I expected it to be. I guess I was lucky to have bought it when the devs finally decided to fixed the game.

The only real problem I have with this game is that when the post game starts, Bryce gets stuck on the computer chair and you can't progress.
So… Introvert Quest is an RPG maker game… However, there is little combat and the game seems interesting and funny. Only problem I have is that the game got stuck at one point but after a few hours the game updated and I managed to play on. I think the devs should make an announcement when they fix something. They seem to respond to people’s questions in the discussions and that is good but in the future, I would recommend testing the game more before releasing it. Overall, I like the game so I give it a thumb up and but I hope that you will fix the spelling and some other minor bugs soon because I would highly recommend it if it was more polished.

I'm usually not a fan of JRPG-s, but I am a huge fan of adventure games (genre that has been largely forgotten). I decided to give Introvert Quest a chance after seeing it on Steam and finding the premise interesting enough.
I must say that my experience with the game was generally positive. Ok dialogue, good jokes and overall interesting world and characters. The game has some minor issues, but I've been able to look past them. I think that most of the glitches have been fixed and if they polish the game some more, I think it will make an even better experience.
My grade:8.5/10 with the possibility of the grade going higher.

I bought this game so I can enable my Steam account for free to play games. Concept of the game seemed interesting enough to choose it among many other 4,99 releases. Since I already bought it, I decided to give it a go.
Game started out good, managed to get my interest. Game world looks nice (not a generic RPG Maker shovelware) and I had a few laughs while I played it. Then I started encoutering multiple glitches and bugs that plague it. I seems that devs either had a schedule to keep or they didn't put much effort in testing their game. I've seen that some other players have had problems with the game breaking at some point so I decided to put it aside for now.
Why thumbs up?
As I read other comments, I saw that the devs respond to all of them and act friendly toward their community. With the toxicity that plagues Steam, I find that refreshing. The game itself isn't bad, but needs to be polished. I think I will wait for
a patch and if it doesn't deliver, maybe change my review accordingly. All in all, this game has some potential, that's why it would be a shame to leave it unfinished.
Just finished the game and here is my take on this
Decent game
Had a few chuckles and the story is rather engaging.
Ending is a bit preachy but it wraps up the main plot nicely.
Apparently there are a lot of side quests I did miss.
On the final screne there is an announcement of more content and the upcoming newgame+ mode, so looking forward to that.
Upon release, game suffered with few glitches that hindered the experience
Luckily, devs were quickly on it and managed to patch most of the critical issues.
Still, I would suggest saving after every major cutscene.
I do recommend picking this up.
I admit I was pleasantly surprised by this game. Expecting another trash rpg maker game, I was charmed by the vibrant world of Introvert Quest. A huge city brimming with life and weird characters instantly captured my interest. The story so far is interesting and I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next
Intorvert quest is a JRPG where you play as an introvert on a quest to become a normal citizen. The game has retro like graphics and really cool anime sprites. The music is also great. The characters are likable and I am enjoying the story so far. Great value for money.
Introvert Quest is story driven comedy rpg set in modern times. You take the role of Bryce, a troubled kid living in the city suburbs. After visiting your psychiatrist, you are put on a 3 day program to integrate you into society. The story is unusual but very intriguing. The game has tons of side content and a whole city to explore which gradually opens up as you become less anti-social. I think it's worth your time, especially considering the low price.
Introvert Quest is a completely different take on the JRPG genre. You play as a creepy introvert who is forced by his shrink to become a normal member of society. Your quests will require of you to go grocery shopping, eat lunch in public and seek employment. There seem to be a ton of sidequest and a whole city to explore. The game is dialogue heavy, but it's genuenly funny and well written. I would definitely recommend this game if you are seeking an RPG that is different from the norm.
For only 4.99 this game has a lot to offer. It is different from most rpgmaker games. I love th modern setting and comedy aspects of this game. There are lots of choices during the dialogues so I think it could be worth playing more than once.
