Basically unplayable with index knuckles. The gun is angled so badly that my controllers are parallel to the ground to point the gun straight forward. Looking at community discussions, the dev promised an angle adjustment in 2019, but it is still nowhere in the game as of December 2022.
What I love about some of these indie vr games is that you go in with a certain expectation, and that expectation kinda stays for the first few duels. But nearing the end of this 3-4 hour experience it throws that right out the window and is actually really, really cool.

I love playing this game. It feels great to get killed by the opponent over and over until I find the gimmick, then to beat them at their own game. The best part of the game is the narrator, a the start of a duel he says a great line, and when I win he follows up with a fantastic one liner that made the suffering worth it.
Simple standing VR shooter, great for guests and parties. Game is simple and quick i only wish that it had more options like sudden death more and arcade mode. Solid game when on sale otherwise without the arcade and sudden death modes I would wait.
Fuck this game is short, but its so much fun to play! Its definately hard, and it may be frustrating at first, but just like any good hard game, the game will teach you well, enough so that you can fire from the hip with your eyes closed at a target (Im serious the game will teach you to do this). Still havent beaten the final boss, but I know I'll get there eventually. all in all, 100% recommend this
It's a fun and engaging shooter with enough challenge to keep you engaged.
The gun points straight upwards, so you have to hold your controller in a way that breaks your wrist.

I do wish it forced you to holster below the waist because it seems too easy to cheat. would be fun to reload too. I enjoyed the mini games between areas

Picked it up for $6.98AUD and just finished the game, I can say it's a pretty fun experience with the voice over and the different fights you have to take on I can easily recommend whenever the game is below $10AUD as a 100% buy.
There is a lot of love in this project but sadly (for the devs) I don't believe it should be $20 (atleast not in 2020) I would pay max $15 for this, as it takes a simple theme of a western quick draw and weaves in puzzle elements and is a 1.5hr experience if you don't get too stuck on any of the bosses. But the effort put into the story was awesome, made me really hyped for the ending (In a good way) and once i beat it i really felt like a overcame a huge obstacle. And the different fights had really interesting puzzle elements as well, I got a big brain so i figured it out pretty quick but they were a fun challenge to kill some time with.
The position of the revolver does not match the position of the controller. The gun looks much higher. Nice idea, but poor realization.
This game is just plain great. Its a perfect game for new VR users because you don't ever have to move, so its impossible to get motion sick. The game is very polished and its hard to believe that such a simple game give the player such an awesome experience. The story telling, gameplay, and learning curve is just perfect. I just hope that this game doesn't go unnoticed, its better than beat saber.
Wait for your opponent to draw and fill em full of lead, Simple! .....And that's about all there is to it. Repetitiveness at its finest. Not much changes accept the cards are stacked more and more against the player in the name of difficulty. The alien/demon, or whatever they are, aspect of the game lost all of its shine and credibility for me and I haven't played it since reaching that point. I thought it was bit cheesy to introduce enemy that can shape shift and "warp" into being, but are completely susceptible to a bullet, LOL. A better way to increase difficulty could have been multiple opponents like a western shootout, gun jam, opponent gun jam, hiddel opponents in windows or rooftop, so much potential. The challenge modes are fun for a few rounds but once I played all of the modes for 10 to 15mns, I was pretty much done with it. So why do I recommend? Because it was moderately fun before it went off the rails.

It turns out, puzzle duel shooter is surprisingly good mix of genres)
Cold Iron tests player's reflexes, accuracy and memory at the same time. It's challenging but fair and very satisfying.
I only didn't like the story too much: it's a bit vague and simple. But Cold Iron is not a story-focused game so it doesn't really matter.
Not much time in it yet, but holy macaroni it gets you pumped. Initial level is straight forward, seems like it may well be easy enough if you're fast enough on the bell. Then the buggers start moving around, only showing position just before they fire, or you have to figure out which one is your real target.
I'm only as far as the guy you have to 'listen' for when he moves around in total darkness. It actually works but this was one situation I wasn't quite fast enough on yet.
Love the quick draw dueling aspect, does need a little more straight forward one on one or even online one on one would be nice. And leaderboards, for times and such. Sweet game, great ideas, needs a touch more but is certainly enough as it is.

Played for the first time with a group of 6 friends, passing the headset whenever one of us got killed. We got killed a LOT. Really satisfying when you're the first to win one of the duels, though. Very good voice acting. Hoping for a multiplayer update.
Cool as hell, hard as hell. First few duels are good for friends and family to try some VR dueling, but after that things get more serious. More polished VR games like this, please! Oh and online leaderboards would be nice in an update :)
As a big fan of VR shooters in general, as well as the 1975 Midway arcade game, Gun Fight, I found this game to be quite enjoyable. While the story may have its odd points, it definitely brings on the 'Clint Eastwood' feeling that a game centered around gun duels should strive for. It's a game which is easy to pick up and learn the basics, making it good to showcase VR to your friends, but the difficutly increase towards the end of the game makes it quite difficult to master.
I love this game. I'm about 7 duels into it and I've killed a few bosses. At first I thought it was a standard draw and shoot game but it turns out to be MUCH more. To beat most of the opponents you must figure out their attack style and that's where the puzzle solving element comes in. I don't want to spoil anything, but the story is not JUST a revenge story.
Also, when it does come down to draw and shoot faster than the opponent, You have to really be accurate. I had to get into "the zone" and focus which makes it WAY more immersive than a lot of VR games I've played.
