Disney Infinity 3.0 Gold Edition is the pinnacle of Disney Infinity games. 3.0 allows you to play as characters from 2.0 and 1.0, not only that but since this is the Gold Edition, you don't need the irl Character Base and figures to play the characters and power-ups in-game. Something worth noting is that the stories from 2.0 and 1.0 are exclusive to their individual games, therefore there is some reason to get those games too. If you care about the pre-built stories with their own open worlds and missions then I'd recommend getting the bundle with all 3 games, but if you care more about the characters and the building your own world aspect then just stick to this one. Also the online features no longer work, they haven't been enabled for years.

The main feature of Disney Infinity was the user made content, which is unavailable since they shut down the servers. They could easily let us share it with Steam Workshop, but they didn't care to do that. Without it all that's left are the Star Wars campaigns, which you can only play with the Star Wars characters. Since Marvel Battlegrounds DLC is missing from PC version, there's nothing for Marvel characters to do here, same with Disney/Pixar. Unless you want to run around the hub area or make your own stages. If they at least kept the multiplayer, this would be a decent alternative to Lego Star Wars. As it is it's just a butchered corpse of a dead and abandoned game.

This game is honestly just a blast from the past, it gets rid of the toys to life aspect that made it unique, but years later, the game is still loads of fun.

as a kid i really wanted to play this game and i was happy until after 8 hours the game crashes and i lost ALL progression

Nostalgic Master Piece

Great game! I saw this on sale and I knew I had to get it. I grew up playing this game so going back to it was reliving my childhood. My only complaint is that there is a glitch where it doesn't properly register your mouse so what happens is after you check the missions/skill tree, instead of your mouse tip going away it stays there on screen. You can move your mouse but you can't move your camera view. You can use the mouse button, but you can't look around. The only fix i know of is to exit the game and go back in. If any one knows a simpler way to solve this issue then I would love to know. Besides that this game is great and a big classic!

claims to come with all the content but is lacking content from 3.0 which came in a later update like the finding nemo playset which is upsetting since it advertises all content but there is no way to get this content so its basically lost media

Remember Disney Infinity, the toys-to-life game featuring characters from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars? Its customizable "Toy Box" universe was initially slated for expansion, but the series was cancelled in 2016 following Avalanche Software's closure. However, PC "Gold Editions" were later released, containing all characters and content. This means bypassing the expensive figures and playsets and experiencing the complete game for a single purchase price. While not flawless, Disney Infinity's PC Gold Editions are a highly recommended nostalgic trip.

One of my favorite games and the best game of my childhood. Would for sure tell someone to play this game! The stories are great, the play ability is great, the sandbox is just fantastic!

the nistalga is amazing

Bought this as a star wars fan and was rewarded with three interesting campaigns set during the prequel, original trilogy and sequel era. Interesting character variety and lots of content availability.

I bought this game 16 hours ago. If you like Disney SpeedStorm this has a gamemode were you can select in Disney car and character and race around iconic locations including Sugar Rush. There is also a story were you play through the whole star wars timeline and a inside out bonus level. Also there's marvel and star wars characters and you can make your own games : includes Esports , arena and Platformer. Also this game unlocks all characters and items that require purchase.

An excellent game I enjoyed in my childhood given new life on PC. It doesn't have all the original game's features, but overall it's just as enjoyable as I remember it being.
