Handball 17 включает полностью переработанное управление, подстраивающийся искусственный интеллект, режимы «Сезон» и «Карьера» для одного игрока, многопользовательские режимы для игры за одним местом или по сети, а также несколько уровней сложности, позволяющие ощутить все по-настоящему.

This is trash. It is trash enough that you may have some fun while playing drunk with your mates though, plus it's cheap.
I really wanted to love this game as I am a fan of handball sport. Plus, I loved to play NHL by EA Sports back then.
In the first hours of play time, the game was rather fun. However, it needs some time to practice all the moves.
But now that I am playing the Spanish League, the game becomes rather annoying. The opponent's goalkeepers have a save rate between 50 - 60% on average although my left wing has shooting rating of 100. On the other side, my own goaly is more of a flycatcher with save rates between 15 - 30% on average. Plus, my team has 2 - 4 bad passes per match.
In addition, your team mates do not defend when you're not actively playing them. Unfortunately, it's quite hard to switch to the team mate you want to control, especially when the oppenent uses lot's of quick short passes. As if this isn't enough, your player won't take dropped balls by themselves even if they literally stand on the ball as long as they are ai-controlled.
Plus there are some glitches, e.g. sometimes you press left + A for passing the ball to a team mate on the left side but the game makes you pass the ball to the right. Or you press the combination for jump shot, but your avatar just doesn't jump.
Besides all that frustrating stuff, the sport commentator is really enervating. Tells you, that the match is quite balanced when you're 12:5 in front. Or that it will be hard to win with only 15 minuten left - 3 minutes before the end of the game. Most of the commentary is just bulls**t.
Now I wanna quit Handball
Few bugs. Obviously you shouldn't expect much, therefore it's a simple game. Unfortunately that is also the problem, as this is the only Handball game in the market. No wonder they discontinued it. It feels like it's made by 3 developers max.
Thank god I bought it on sale for less than a pound. It's not worth paying more for it unfortunately

I do really like this game. The game does have problems though. Computer AI gets points even though the whole team is guarding one person. Glitches and bugs do occur on occasion. You get charged for a foul even though you did nothing. The instant replays are good and gameplay is not bad either. Computer goalies are tough at times.
I don't reccomend this game for few basic reasons:
They lie when they say: Experience all the sensations of handball thanks to the easy-to-use controls.
There no easy controls - I was not even able to find a way to at least check existing controls for keyboard. And even google does not help to find a way to customize keyboard controls.
Not knowing or being able to set controls makes this game completely unplayable.
Uninstalled hoping for patch to enable customization of controls to test the game for real..
I'm literally DABBING on piratechuds while they cope and seethe.
You must have a lot of praktice to play this game, but if you have, it is very good game. I play with keyboard, using x for passing, y for dodging, s for block, c for push. There are not players playing at network but AI play is good and very competitive. It requires a lot of tactics, you can stop AI play to push player, not just player who plays, but player who you cover and ect and ect. I am not playing prefering tactics (they are good, but player can play his game with passes from one to another side of the hall).

Goalkeepers are essentially nonexistent, but I got this for $9 during the Summer Sale so I can't complain that much. I would be upset if I had paid full price. It is worth it for some fun if you can get it on sale.
The gameplay itself isn't that bad. Handball fans will have fun playing this simulation.
But after years of possible developments I have some statements to this game:
- The graphics and the movement should be more realistic like in other sport simulations (e.g. Fifa)
- The online game mode should be a public ligue system
- The player ratings should be realistic
- There is also a mistake which has to be repeared: Almoste every player is right handed, even if he is not in RL
- Also add the other well known Champions League teams
As I have just made a request for a refund, I feel that I need to warn those who might feel tempted to purchase this game hoping it to be a decent handball game, as it is not.
While it does have it's upsides, such as shooting mechanics with great potential for development and not so bad visuals and animations for certain aspects of the game even if the graphics are way below what would be expected for any sports game nowadays, it just feels to me that it is unplayable for anyone who at least remotely knows handball.
It just doesn't feel like handball, the players move way too fast, motion is not fluid nor realistic, contact between players is nearly inexistent (which makes pivots quite useless, really), the ball seems to behave like a sphere of lead, controls respond way too slowly for the pace of the game, and players are mostly dumb, almost completely unaware of the game and making it impossible to actually make plays on the go without the use of "combinations"
I am very thankful for the effort put into this game, because I still have a lot of hope that one day we'll see a great handball videogame just as NBA 2K16 is a great baketball game and hope that the developers keep up the good work towards making a playable and enjoyable handball game, but handball 17 is just not there yet.
For now I just hope to be refunded so I can reinvest that money into a really satisfying game, such as Civ VI or something like that, and I'll be looking forward to seeing many of those huge problems solved in handball 18, because I'd just love to play a handball video game that feels just as good as Fifa or NBA 2K.
