I cannot even play the game it is so garbage. Car is constantly drifting and there is white steam under wheels like when you hold break and gas at the same time, don't know how to fix it. Nothing in the settings...

If you're tired of playing arcade racers, racing sims with 0 vehicle customization, driving games with 0 drifting mechanics, driving games with poor multiplayer connectivity, or just TIRED of dawg sh** racing games, PLAY THIS GAME.
I picked up carX after being an avid Drift streets japan player on PC, a game with a niche community, affinity for JRM, and bending corners, DSJ ended up going offline and unsupported so i tried to find a game that gave me a similar feeling..
here it is.
CarX has more than servicable car customization, you can change cambers, axles, tire pressure, decals, paint, etc. basically any variable a car could have this game has an adjustment for it.
Theres ice maps, regular maps, all kinds of cars, you can drift semi trucks, box trucks, hearses.
you can set up drift competitions/races on the fly in multiplayer lobbies in the map, while other people are hosting similar minigames, you can change car IN GAME.
this is just such a great racing game, it works good with wheels/pedals too.
What is there not to love with a game like this????
very good game do need mods for it to last though bc it just gets boring after awhile

game is terrible its been out for over 8 years and still has the exact same maps you can run every single track in under an hour and it just gets boring very fast
Its best on controller, but if you want to play on a wheel i recommend a thrustmaster t300, other than that this game is good but last update it makes everything laggy even with low setting when i used to have max settings i was getting 120 fps easy
The amount of racists that are constantly talking in global chat is sickening. This needs to be moderated. Aside from that, this game is a lot of fun. Looking forward to learning the basics of drifting here and taking it into real life down the road.

Honestly this game is fun af, doesn't matter it's keyboard, controller, or a wheel. Personally I prefer wheel but if you don't have one controller is so much fun and WAY easier to learn than wheel. Really happy I bought this game, I play ts everyday. If you want a good car game I'd recommend fs.

Jump in & start drifting game play. Not a whole lot of set up you have to do, unless you want to. This game teaches real world tuning & physics for car control. It has helped tremendously in the need for seat time off season racing. Definitely recommend.

well i bought this game because i've been playing this game's mobile game called carx drift racing 2 for like 3 years now i had 93 cars in that game i even created livery of every car myself with my own hands. and i lose that account so i switched to recreate my every car again
This game is not the most realistic when it comes to physics (launch glitches, among other things that don't make sense). But if you're looking for a laid back arcade drift "sim" which can be played with friends or to meet people that have the same interests as you, along with a game that is actually pretty fun with some glitches that you run into, this game is certainly what you're looking for.
Absolutely insane graphics, the movement could be a little different for keyboard but overall an absolutely worth it game for relaxation and chill driving/drifting.

Drift? You need to choose that Drift setting, go to garage and set it there.
Time? You need to choose that Racing setting.
I remember when I very first got into this game, I was horrible at drifting. I struggled so much and then eventually I figured it out and got better. I originally bought this on Xbox and then when I got a gaming PC, I bought it all over again just for the fun of it. Game is solid. I guess if you struggle with drifting in other racing games, CarX would make a good practice game.
There is alot with this game that just hits people's buttons as to why this game is good. For me, it's simple. Get car, drift it, make money, buy new car. Rinse and repeat. Not to mention how easy it is to mod the game. And for the multiplayer, if you can get passed the fact the game gets a bit laggy from loading other player's cars, then you should be fine. No there isnt an open world map, just set tracks. But most of them are pretty large.
the drifting is pretty difficult to get used to whenever you start(when driving with a wheel) but once you get it down it really fun i would recommend buying the pack to get all the cars because my buddy has 100+ hours and still has around half the cars but overall really good game
the best game ive played on this pc it was hard at first but i got qa wheel and practiced. Highly roccomend.

This game is one of my favorite drifting games and has some of the best graphics for a drifting game I have seen, I highly recommend this game for controller and wheel.
Its Great, but Online Features are bugged and broken.
Error Code 504 is the bane of my existence and theres no known fix to this issue other than downloading this specific VPN which i do not trust/nor am i desperate enough to try.
cant recommend until Error 504 is fixed :(

Should not be in the sim category. Its an arcade style drift game but the physics are not realistic nor is the force feedback for steering wheel users. The game makes the car drift. For a claimed drifting simulator you'd think they wouldn't remove the aspect of initiating a drift. You'll be accelerating in a straight line and the car will turn sideways magically. The force feedback doesn't correlate to the slip angle of the steering. truly awful physics but a wide selection of cars if you can play long enough without getting motion sickness from the physics to unlock them.

usually played games like forza but i found this a few years ago and i'm glad i did. this is a very good, different drift game!
This game is great for people who like car games and drifting or anything related yet still it has some issues but they update the game allot with new bug fixes and more the price is a bit much but it goes on deals allot so you can save allot of money if your looking for a game like this i say this might be for you
How about FIXING THE F-ING BUGGS IN THIS GAME!? works perfect, what do the carx devs do? yeah change something NO ONE asked for.................................... liveries gone, tunes gone and so on, what do the devs do? give us another bodykit or a new car. Game is laggy when people join or leaves servers, what do the carx devs do? MAKES IT EVEN WORS by adding modded maps for console... haha wtf is going on

used to play on xbox and loved it, and it is just even better on pc, highly reccomend for anyone looking for the most customization options
fantastic game would be nice to have something like a sim dashboard for tablet for stats about cars or rpms or gears apart from that fantastic game would 100% recommend

Its like a great value Assetto Corsa Modded, but easier to drive...lots of tandems in multiplayer... I use a g920 wheel and controller, both are easy to drive... spend most of my time making liveries and driving on the track RED RING on 100adh tires doing big entries on the first corner... Game is also very cheap... even if not a car person its a fun game to play and worth the little money it is...
download discord KINO mod for extra cusomization, its a must
