Amazing game, finished it in 2 player coop on normal difficulty in 3 1/2 hours. Definetly worth it for the money. If you like Broforce you will love this one too. Highly recommend it!
Great game, a massive improvement from GCC1.
A lot of people complained about how awful the controls are, but i disagree. This game barely has any new input if compared to GCC1. The new input on this game includes roll, open weapon slot, use, and aim. But here is the thing, there is no grenade and molotov, the two input used for these are now used for open weapon slot and roll. Meaning the only new input in this game is the use and aim. Assuming you are playing on a controller, you can still use A to jump, B to kick, and so on. if you don't like the default settings, you can always change it in the settings menu.
Need to aim on this game sound sucks. But this means you can always try to do some cool combos and consistently getting headshots. Shotgun is very good now because you can actually hit your enemies head with it. I get it that some people prefer the run n gun but that doesn't mean you can hate this game because its a different genre from the first one.
The map is now a lot more bigger, which is great because this means you can try to do a lot of cool stuff, such as spying on enemies from different area, or sniping your enemies from afar. Combine this with the extra mobility options roll and double jump provided.
The enemies ai is now overall better, if you attack an idle enemy, other nearby enemies may get alerted of your presence. If an enemy is hit, they may try to hide behind a cover. They still attack closest target, so if there are some zombies and gangster nearby, you can try to kick them close together and watch them struggle defending themselves.
Though something i would complain about this game is lack of lobbed projectile weapons. Because of the bigger map and better ai, it's not rare to see a bunch of enemies just hiding behind a cover that may be pretty hard to hit. lobbed projectile weapon like grenade or molotov should help dealing with these guys way easier. Now we do have grenade launcher, but it's introduced so late in a close quarters area that it barely matters.
The other i would complain about is the story, especially the final boss intro and ending. How did the boss survived? what happened to the allies? what happened to the nazis? How about the secret base and the experiment? I know this game is set during WW2, so the answer to most of these question is about did you paying attention to your history class or not, but it's still weird to just left that out. i do like the Roswell incident reference on the end though.
Impossible mode is still impossibly difficult, but at least you don't have to beat the game on impossible to 100% the game. I still did though.

Short but sweet run & gun shooter. Pretty much an improvement over its predecessor in every way, which I also recommend as well.

I haven't played the first part yet, but this game is really fun and indeed was worth buying.
Reminds me of the old miniclip games i used to play when I was little. Brings back memories...
Same run n gun principle but with a nice addition of the story.
Artyle is nice, sound is nice, alot of cool weapons, just in general a pretty solid well made game.

This game reminds me of the Half Life 2 beta's weapons; too many that some become useless to use. The first game had a valid selection, as the pistol was good for common zombies, the magnum was good for quick kills on annoying zombies at the cost of scarce ammo drops, the double-barrel was good for the bridge and groom zombies; being able to two-tap them, and the Tommy gun was good for large crowds. The movement and ability to use the mouse was a slog at first, but I found myself able to pull off some cool shots on enemies that wasn't possible in the first game. The lack of explosives was disappointing, but the mouse aiming cleared the blind-spots that warranted explosives. Still a fun game through the bullshit bosses, mechanics, and movement.

Killing Nazis, zombies and mobsters never gets old.
The entire story can be completed in 102 minutes; this game is highly enjoyable and provides a thrilling experience. It would be even better if the plot were extended and included some challenging modes.
I liked the first one far more than the second personally. The slight art and play style changes were just not as fun. The game is still a blast to play just feels a little too different. Fully achieving this was leagues easier than the first as we were able to play on normal difficulty and there wasn't anything too insane to attempt.
Really like the first one - still playing it - and this one is a good game as well, I'm just not a fan of the 360 aiming abilities, I like it more simple, like in the first game, where you could only shoot forward and backwards.
Maybe I will, give it another go, some time in the future.... just maybe.

This is a simple 'shoot everything around you' type of game, reminding people of early 2000s' Flash games like 'Thing Thing' series. Good for couple hours of entertainment; purchase when on discount.

Our guy built differently because of eating cannolis.
The sequel has increased the mechanism despite the first game. I enjoyed it, and recommend playing both games.
