Honestly, if you want a good overall game with minor bugs that YOU CAN avoid go with this although. Get hello neighbor two after:)
This game is too good, but your gonna need to watch videos to get through the game, but that's if you want to actually beat it and not have fun.

I personally didn't like hello neighbor, because glitches this game has. I really like idea, that there's a scary neighbor chasing you, but bad thing is that the developers put a giant mansion sized house in the game, which the neighbor cant even navigate. And the puzzles are just so confusing, like how does a new player even find out that you have collect four cakes and four mannequins to get a toy gun. I think why people stayed with Hello Neighbor, was the story. People wanted to see what was in the basement.
The price 30$ is just not worth it.

Just go play alpha 1 or 2.

this game sums up my childhood, amazing game with tons of story. other than the few bugs you encounter its still a fun game with much to tell.

if you enjoy wandering aimlessly with no clear direction and a stupid fuckin ai that is op even on friendly mode so you never actually have time to figure anything out, then this is your game. fucking trash ass game
I love it! its addictive, the puzzle waste your time, the mods are unique, everything about this game is unique! horrifingly filled with puzzles, theres only one disadvantage, its very glitchy, and its very expensive, other than that, its the best!
It is one of the most iconic and one of the best 2000's indie horror game! the Ai is very impressive to watch, fun gameplay, Very sad ending and great puzzles. (side note: It is very nistolgic)

This game isnt horror at all,it can be scare only a bit at the night time,maybe a bit at the basement,but basement is a small part of a game,and night can be easily skipped by restarting the game or dying,if you keep the night,the neighbor will be MUCH MORE dumb. Also this game isnt stealth at all,it can be only stealth sometimes at act 2. If you die,you dont lose anything,just restarting again,and in act 3 you have some ability's that makes you immortal to the neighbor, and only THE GLITCHES (or very rarely fall damage) will be able to kill you, sometimes REQUIRED items can stuck somewhere in the textures,and you wont be able to get them,only RESTARTING the whole act,sometimes if you or neighbor step on items,IT WILL SEND YOU TO THE SKY or IT WILL KILL YOU. Now about the gameplay...
act 1 is kinda ok, not so hard , not so easy, puzzles doesnt require you to be Einstein.
act 2 puzzles is still ok,but might be tricky and annoying sometimes.
now ACT 3... you'll have to touch every texture,parkour everywhere, and you will either spend HOURS AND HOURS to solve these puzzles that are as non-obvious and stupid as possible or just watch guides on youtube and have no fun,but you wont have any fun even if you spend time and solve everything by yourself.
Act final has some non-obvious (dumb) puzzles also, hovewer its still better than act 3
gamestory is okay,but I PAY for the GAME,NOT for the story

This game is spectacular! I remember the old times when FGTEEV played this phenomenal game back in Beta and Alpha mode. The lore is mesmerising and eye-catching for all of the new players. Please make another game just like this - DO NOT REMOVE ANY OF THE OLD CHARACTERS.

This game is absolutely not worth the price. I got this game while on sale and I still feel scammed. The game is such a buggy mess and puzzles are just way too confusing. It does have some speedrun potential but I would rather play the early alphas.
I would recommend but there are minor issues on my pc there is a glitch were it will not start and stop imiddiatly so i unplug my router from Pc (my wifi) and i am able to luanch the game fix and patch those up and i would 100% recommend!
This game is not good, despite me having 37 hours into this, it is shit, back in the Alpha days, this game was nice, from an interesting stealth game with minor puzzles and an eerie art style which created a scary tension to the game, into a platform hit & run game with major puzzles, from one of the best indie games ever, to absolute shit.
It's really cool and fun you can mess with the neighbor and troll him it's funny how he falls when you super throw at him but don't die to him a bunch of times or else you will reveal more of the neghbor's story.
Tinybuild you guys have made my most likeble games also is hello Neighbor 3 a game and also act 3 took me the longest with mainly the mini games like the double jump

This game was an utter disappointment. It's full of bugs infuriating puzzles and bad controls. Which sucks because I was really excited to play the full release back in its early alpha stage. Back when it had promise of a fun, thrilling stealth game with a neighbor who learned your every move, the only pros I have are the graphics, the cartoon graphics are beautiful.
The game's NOT worth its 30 dollar price tag
If you absolutely want to play it, either wait for sale, or play the Alpha builds

I got this game again for the nostalgia, and after beating it again, I gotta say I really just don't know how to feel about it. It's objectively a really bad game everyone knows that already, but I can't tell if it's a case of "So bad it's good" or just plain bad. Because it's honestly just really funny how bad it is. Act 1 isn't too bad. I actually enjoyed it quite a bit. It's short, and simple. Act 2 is okay. Longer, and far more confusing, but not so bad it makes you wanna smash your PC. Act 3 on the other hand, is just straight up awful. There is not a single thing I liked or even enjoyed from it. It's like triple the length of act 2, and is 5x more painful to play. See, you can do the first 2 acts (mainly) without using a tutorial, but in act 3, expect to look up a tutorial at the very least 10 times. There's almost no way of telling what you're supposed to really do next, and those mannequin sequences are an actual nightmare to play. And then there's act 4 which is also pretty bad, but no where near as bad as 3. The story is odd, it's really confusing, it's also just a buggy mess, (even though the bugs are what make this game really funny) and the neighbor is for the most part just a joke. (Even with the bear traps and cameras)
Overall, this is a really poorly made game, but I still think it's funny anyways. Glitching the neighbor out of the map by literally just shooting at him with the toy gun while he's crossing the road is probably the best part about this game. If you don't know anything about the game, good. You aren't missing out on anything. I seriously don't think this game would be worth playing even if it was free lol. As funny as it is, I promise the game isn't worth buying. 3/10

Amazing time killer would recommend if you need a new game but it doesn't last that long i finished it in like 9 hours so yea. but its good just be careful the neighbour will most definitely jump scare you a bunch of times
this is genuinely the worst game i've ever played, and i mean that with no exaggeration. the controls and physics suck, the puzzles are obtuse, and the story is non-existent without reading several books beforehand.
i only like this game bc of a bit of nostalgia for it i understand why people dont like this game but its fine to me nothing amazing that will leave u flabbergasted just a good game to waste ur time with

Do NOT buy this game. The neighbor that tries to guard the house isn’t even smart, and he only runs and doesn’t learn from your escape plans. He places 20 cameras in a single room and that’s it, but it’s still annoying to play because of that. It’s not a challenging game, it’s only annoying. The puzzles are a fun challenge, but the neighbor makes it annoying to solve the puzzles. DONT PLAY THIS GAME.
Hello Neighbor is such an enjoyable, yet challenging puzzle game. I first played it right when it came out in 2017, and I re-played it today. If you would like to play a calm yet sinister game, I would recommend...
It's more of a kids game and I don't recommend it for anybody above the age of 13

Bugs is something that catches me off gaurd once on my xbox i was with my family watching me trying to speedrun the game and i walk of a trash can lid and i got sent flying and everyone laughed like they never before
(My review of the game)
At first, I didn't really have high hopes for this game, but when it was on sale, I decided to pick it up. So after playing it for a while, I thought it wasn't fun, but when I got more into the game I struggled but it was a bit fun. BUT, I had search up a guide. Over all, I guess it was enjoyable. Some what.
(What I suggest)
I suggest playing Alpha 1, or Alpha 2? Alpha 2 is like the full game, just no full basement, and much shorter. Or, playing a complete different game, like Bendy And The Ink Machine. It was very fun to me.
(Problems with the game's mods)
Some mods, just don't work! I want to play a remake of Alpha 1, and Alpha 2, to see what it's like in the full game. Honestly, I HATE the mods that don't work. I just wish the mods work.
very fun game takes a long time to complete so you will never get bored
I know it's terribly buggy and faulty, and I'm aware the game and its sequels and franchise have not made a particularly good name for themselves due to that and other reasons, however there's still kind of a charm to it in my opinion. I used to love playing Hello Neighbor a few years back and exploring different rooms, minigames, and collecting different items to keep them in my house, etc. I just now replayed it and still find it just as enjoyable as I used to, beside how broken it is.
One thing they can change though is the difficulty level for the fear school minigame. It's just undoable the way it is and purely based on luck, I myself had to afk for a little while to make the students disappear before being able to beat it.
Though it's safe to say that if I haven't had a base liking for it due to how much I played it when I was a bit younger, I wouldn't have cared much for playing it again.
UNPLAYABLE(kinda) its really LUCK on if you play the game or you need to cheat so if you want a normal game thats playable DO NOT BUY THIS PLZ
No intuition, buggy AI, janky controls... everything just turns into a frustrated mess
the game is a little expensive but it is god too! but i have a problem, the game does not support my monitor's resolution (1600x900) and it is not even that good or the best resolution ever..... i do not know what to do !! the maximum resolution i can use is 1333x533!!!! if sb know what to do i would like to know too!!
