Fun story mode. 7/10

SPECTACULAR multiplayer. 10/10 If you have a small friend group that you can convince to grab this (on sale probably) it is a fantastic night of fun. All 3 sides have a great balance to them and each is fun in it's own right.

Marine campaign is pretty fun and the graphics look nice for a 2010 game. The predator and alien campaigns are a bit naff though, still decent fun if you're into the franchise. A solid 6-7/10

god damn this game sucks ass you can only carry 2 weapons and your trash handgun this was the worst idea and this game will never hold a damn candle to AVP2 gold. other then that story is great for all 3 races but that i about it

Not a great but not a terrible one, i would say it has its charm, it works fine, the campaings are pretty fine but the mechanics on melee attacks for me are decent, it works but at the same time becomes buggy.

Predator and Alien are affected by this decent mechanics, but still i liked the game and the Marines is very good. Worth a shot to try it!

i grew up watching predator and aliens, playing this game just reliving the good old Xbox days like predator concrete jungle. the story line is also great, there is 3 rout to choose predator, aliens and space marines. a lot of jump scares. over all honestly enjoyable. its classic, play it!

what can i say i fell in love with this game and franchise years ago and still hold a special place in my heart for it!. good old times!. 10/10

This game is great only i have two side notes. Firstly the campaigns are too short, secondly there is no queen alien campaign which i'd love. It is still amazing so i love it.

this is a great game and really my type just watch the movies and you will really understand this games story great game hope to see more

Haven't really got in depth much with this game on Steam yet, but from what I've done so far it's great, worth the price even without the sale. The game has fun mechanics for both of the creatures and the marine missions are really enjoyable as well. I would recommend this game,

Right-click AvP_DX11.exe and click on Properties.
In the AvP_DX11.exe Properties window, click on the Compatibility tab.
click Disable fullscreen optimizations.
Click OK.
this will unlock your fps from 60
and yes i think this is a great game so far playing as predator and unlike most other fps games you can do more things at once making the combat better like you can change vision mode while attacking or in a execution animation same with changing weapons so you are not locked to the animation before being able to do certain actions

It's really fun to play when the ai doesn't get screwy i'll be playing as predator fully cloaked and a marine who's suddenly a psychic and just empties his gun into me before i had the chance to do anything or where i'll be sneaking up on a marine and all the others agro as well for some reason but none the less when the stealth doesn't bug out then its fun but not much i can do this is a really old game

I grew up playing this on Xbox 360 Great memories back then especially in multiplayer. The game is pretty good you play as 3 different species in each campaign such as the marine, predator and xenomorph. other than that its definitely good.

Multiplayer is pretty much empty unless you find others to play with. add me so we can play this game one day

This Aliens vs Predator game is the best one out of all the other AvP games in it's franchise. The gunplay and the sounds of the guns are cool. The graphics is still pretty nice and was amazing for that time. The story and the character development is top notch. The journey from just a rookie to a badass was so cool. Then there's Predator campaign which is by far the best campaign and key moment for the game. I had a lot of enjoyment playing the Predator and Marine campaign.

Its fun has a very unique story where you play as all three factions that being aliens, predator, and humans on top of that it has amazing gameplay though I love to play the aliens a lot more than any of the others mainly because I've always liked the aliens

Unique gameplay and atmosphere, graphics and artstyle still hold up pretty well.

It's pretty okay AvP game.

There are 3 short campaigns, with different play styles.

There is a survival/horde mode, but only as a Marine. Also you have to buy DLCs in order to unlock all Survival maps.

While Marine's gameplay has the best atmosphere the shooting feels off. Not enjoyable.

Overall a good AvP game but feels not as good as AvP2 + Primal Hunt is. Getting it on discount is highly recommended.

Awesome game if you love the Alien universe. Love the parallel story line. This deserves a remake.

This game is great , great visuals , great gameplay , you can play as human , predator , alien . I would say one should definitely check it out .

Sick af played single player survival and got gang banged by aliens 10/10 would recommend

Don't waste your time. The multiplayer was supposedly this game's big selling point and it's long dead. The singleplayer is dull and repetitive so I refunded. I played it an hour and a half and I still had no clue what the plot was.

Bought this for the Predator campaign but the parkour and melee is unsatisfying. The game is so dark half the time you're just throwing haymakers blindly as the screen shakes and is covered in crap. The kill animations get tiresome after you've seen it repeated ten times. What little I played of the Marine combat in horde mode feels really bland and generic.

Wanted to relieve my childhood memories playing this again. Unfortunately I couldn't go very far since it kept crashing. Shame really since it was good for the price.

not even 30 minutes in and im fighting aliens in a strip club. peak game play

3 Interesting campaigns and funnest game I've played when I've had my Xbox. The game is dead but it's still really fun.

If you are an Alien/Predator fan you should give this game a try.
You cannot only play as a Marine that plays like a typical FPS, but also as the Alien and the Predator in a short but fun campaign.

The brutallity is one of the best things in the game (when uncut)

A timeless classic thats seriously underratef. Even without multiplayer you get 3 campaigns waaaay more ORIGINAL COMPARED TO SOME MODERN DEVELOPERS "EA COUGH COUGH UBISOFT COUGH COUGH' anyway great game seriously underrapreciated.

really good campaign... three of them, in fact. marine and predator campaigns are a lot more fun, the xenomorph campaign is just alright. it's really fun to do each campaign one mission at a time, and rotate which character you play as (which doesn't make sense narratively tho, canon order for the storyline is alien->predator->marine i think).

play it, you won't regret it.

Played it way back then when it released on Xbox 360 and also played regularly throughout the years and it really is a solid game. Each campaign has its own flavour that depict each species perspective and the human is a Survival horror experience, as you would expect lol.

It's a good game, play it. I will play it again now after this review.

The game is cool. Pretty outdated in some places but still very good.
Wish there would be more games like this

like despite the gliches, it would be nice if the revamped it a bit the xeno climbing cam is a bit buggy

Bit buggy but its a great game to revisit every now and again

there was an issue getting the game going. but after the tweaking it works like a dream. haven't tried the multiplayer, and there is no steam cloud. but overall worth the purchase

Very fun game, always wanted to play it, bit sad that I can never find anybody online though.

3 different campaigns with unique mechanics, story, and challenges. Who does that? Its like making three different games in one. Metacritic doesn't know what they are talking about by giving this game a 64. Then again most of those "professional critic" reviews on any site tend to boil down to "Im bad at the game therefore the game is bad." I gotta recommend getting this game, if just for the AVP nostalgia. What other game set in this universe will let you play as the Predators AND the Aliens, and not just the soft squishy humans? You can play as them too, of course. Because this game is awesome, and wants you to have fun.

If you're looking at this and wondering "But - is it worth it?"

The answer is yes.

this game is an all time classic that i revisit every couple years. playing as the aliens or predators is extremely fun and you feel like an apex predator, and playing as the marines has you on edge most of the time. the game also holds up graphically in my opinion. this game needs a remaster/remake ASAP!

i love this game. My first time playing it was on the 360 after i rented it from blockbuster for a few days as a teen. Its an amazing game, and while the multiplayer is mostly dead, you can still find a server match if you are lucky. besides, the content for the campaigns and the co-op/single player wave survival you can do as a marine is pretty fun too.

I like that it allows you to play from all 3 species POV, but what I don't like there isn't more to the game it's such a good game.

Alright Campaign (There's 3), good PvP but needs getting used too. A remastered version would be amazing!
