About the Game
Intruder is a stealth multiplayer experience, inspired by the great single-player campaigns of Metal Gear Solid, SWAT 3, Deus Ex, and Splinter Cell. The goal is to bring aspects of these games into the gameplay of Intruder, and turn it into a team-based multiplayer shooter. Intruder allows for stealth, teamwork, tactics, and environmental interactions never seen before in a multiplayer game.
Team-Based Stealth Multiplayer
- Lure enemies into motion detectors near explosive traps.
- Watch enemy movement through live security cameras and alert your teammates using the hand radio.
- Use real SWAT hand signals to communicate silently when enemies are nearby.
Immersive FPS Simulation
Experience an immersive FPS simulation in Intruder with gameplay mechanics of climbing the environment, crawling through vents, and swimming through the waters. Last but not least, experience realistic ballistics with windage and bullet drop in effect.
3D Audio
Communicate with your teammates using both the hand radio and proximity voice chat. But be careful, your enemies can also hear you speak if they are near! However, you can also use this to your advantage to deceive the enemy.

may be lacking in graphics but will make up for it in gameplay
It's good for short and simple fun but I wouldn't recommend buying this game because of it's price, $20 even $10 isn't really worth this game at all. It's a good concept but it's an ultimately empty game. Also very hard to find public lobbies if you don't have a group of friends with you.
playerbase is pretty small but they're mostly nice (from my experience) and the game is pretty fun

Single individual dev charging $20 for a game that's had $5 of work put into it over the past 5 years since it released. Dead game.

This used to be one of my favorite indie games hands down. I started playing back in 2021 after seeing the game played by a few youtubers i enjoyed and just loved it, the gunplay, maps, and community just felt fun. Then after about 5-6 months of no significant updates, they finally teased a new map. About a year later, no news on it i left a comment asking if there was any news on this map and a dev responded "No." just no, and two years later no new maps just remasters, and one new gun. this game just is not properly supported and it's a shame because it could've taken off with multiple channels with over a million subs playing it.
TL;DR: I would've recommended the game back in 2021-2022 but now it just isn't possible to get into it
Game is almost dead, average players are below 100 and the small amount that do play are some of the most entitled and cringe people to ever interact with. The only people defending the community are the people who are the problem lmao pretty sad. Also people get reported by these losers and get banned for things like "racism", Crazy how your game is almost dead and you still can't be bothered to look over the reports, what a joke.
This game is a meme, gunplay is abyssmal, balancing non-existent, and its funny just how jank it is if you get sweaty in this game you are cringe.
Had alot of expectations for this game, unfortunately servers are mostly dead and the game crashed every time I launched it .
I have no idea why this gem is not popular. It really is, an ULTIMATE pvp stealth action game. It's like goofy R6: Siege, but with no learning curve and with deep movement mechanics.
Not even a review saying that the game is bad, i just can't recommend it.
The first time i heard about the game was like 3 years ago and now that i tried it it's the exact same game.
Almost like it was not updated at all, the same few maps keep getting reworked and that's about it.
Pretty much all of the servers that have people playing are US servers with over 100 ping and they are password locked, and the single server that was not locked had people playing that clearlly knew each other and knew how to play.
Everything is still very basic and not worth anyones time yet, also some people in the community defending the game are really weird, one dude was saying how the dev adding a separate sensitivity slider for hipfire and ads is not needed and it would take too many resources and too much time to implement lol.
graphics are really bad but the gameplay makes up for it, even public lobbies are fun
If you can bolster your friends to play this game you are not gonna regret it. And on public servers you will most probably enjoy it as much.

I Love the game, but the disconnect issue is a severe problem every 10 mins. No matter the case, I'm disconnected. Have no other issues so this is a dev and game problem. Additionally online, no fixes, so if anyone knows any additionally, fixes,let me know. I've validated files, reset networks, and even uninstalled and reinstalled etc. Ethernet wifi the whole nine yards,

i loved the concept and the idea, the game looks cool but its dead.
Honestly my favorite party game, I've bought at least 4-5 copies of this game for friends.
I can not stress how much I recommend getting a big group of friends and giving this game a try, You will not regret it.
Intruder is such a silly fun game with its ragdoll and balance shenanigans. Couple that with its cross-team proximity chat and the funny situations just fall into place! (Sometimes literally.)
I love this game, there can be a lack of players at times, its kinda why i stopped playing, but the game is a lot of fun when you have a populated server
its good but it joins the tier of steam games that are insanely good and unique however all but abandoned

Unfortunately I didn't manage to convene any friends to play it with me although I bought it for some of them for free, but still not sure why ppl underrate this game, come guys it has tactical banana as a weapon ffs !

Game is pretty fun but the devs are soft and will "demote" you for basic trolling. They will literally try to make you crawl into their discord and suck their toes to un demote you but it aint worth it fam. Game should be like 5$

This isn't an accurate description of the game. Its much more similar to Counter Strike, than anything referenced above. It has no more or less stealth than the average Counter Strike, or Valorant game. I've played all the Splinter Cell PvP Online components and this is really nothing like those. Metal Gear Online has more stealth. Its not bad but it fails to meet its attempt to feel like a co-operate stealth game.
Overall Score: 7/10
