Balance your team's stats to create the optimal zombie-killing strategy. Want to be a beefy tank? A medic? A master of robot minions? Or how about dealing the most damage you can? Augment your character with accessories to boost their stats, customizing the character to your liking.

I fucking hate this game, its so god damn good
Amazing game!! Fun for hours
Oh the regret. why, WHY!? 10 year old me did you not buy this game on Xbox 360 when you had the chance. This game is everything I love about the first and better. You could've bought it along side the first game but NO~O~O~Oo you decided to buy a game you immediately got board of and currently think is bad, and just decided that the demo for this game was good enough. Oh if I could go back I would slap fire from you younger Me.
Zombie Estate is iconic to me it's one of the things that comes to mind when I think of my childhood and the Xbox 360. It is a charming little game that sits comfortably in my heart next Castle Crashes, Battleblock Theater, and Assault Hero's. My Xbox 360 library will always feel empty without this game in it to complete the collection. One day I hope to mod this game back onto the 360 the same way that guy got halo somehow onto a PlayStation. Especially since my new Xbox for some reason won't let me reinstall the demo. what do you mean ERROR? Estate 1 downloaded so WTFFFU-
Wish I would've waited till this game was no longer on sale would've been happy as can be to pay full price for it. I'll make up for it by gifting it to my friends as well I suppose.

I remember the first game was my and my sisters favorite xbox360 indie games to play and the sequel just added more stuff to do on top of a already fun game loop.

Zombie Estate 2

I used to really enjoy playing local co-op sessions of Zombie Estate 1 and 2 back when they were Xbox Indie Arcade titles for the X360. Therefore, when I saw that ZE2 was available on Steam for $5 (USD), I had to jump on it, and I can happily attest that this isometric, pixel-art zombie shooter is still a blast to play. Best of all, this version features online multiplayer!
For those unfamiliar, Zombie Estate 2 is an action game that features waves of zombies in various forms, and players must do their best to survive as long as they can. In between waves, players are given a chance to buy and upgrade weapons with money that's dropped by enemies during battle. There's a HUGE amount of weapons to choose from, and I haven't really found a dud in the bunch. After a concluded session, Zombie Points are awarded based on a player's performance and actions taken during play, and these points can be used to unlock new playable characters as well as stat-boosting hats. There's also a handful of arenas and 3 play modes to keep things interesting.
I personally have a blast playing Zombie Estate 2, even solo. Surviving a challenging wave and rewarding myself with new weaponry is super satisfying. I also like some of the sillier weaponry such as cereal bowls, potato cannons, and holy squirt guns. You can even spawn minions and turrets.
The only negatives are minor but potentially annoying ones, like how the text and UI can get really tiny and hard to read on higher resolutions since these elements don't seem to scale. Also, while I don't mind sinking a few minutes or an hour into a play session of Zombie Estate 2 since I enjoy the game so much, some people may be turned off by how long a session takes. Additionally, I'd like to note that I did not try the online multiplayer and therefore don't know firsthand how well it works.
For me personally, these small cons don't affect how much fun I have with this light-hearted zombie game. For $5 USD, Zombie Estate 2 is a great time, especially if you have friends that want in on the messy action.
Simple is fun. Feels like a game you play with your friend at 2300 and just laughing and having fun.

A nice little game. Definitely worth the price. If you played this during the 360 days, then you've found the xbox's Magnum Opus. The greatest xbox arcade game of all time. Definitely game of the year back in when ever this game initially came out. Once you're done playing this game, you may go and explore other games from 360 arcade, like CastleMiner Z.
