Just a wave shooter.
Doesn't work with controllers.
I have an oculus-touch system. I saw that this game is tagged "Oculus Rift" so I bought it.
However, I was quickly upset because:
#1 the graphics of the controllers are still from the Vive ones, not Oculus ones
#2 the buttons doesn't respond as it should so we can't play the game
For example, I can target anywhere with the controllers rays but the guns are not moving and are firing only straight ahead or we can't launch any rocket in the tutorial so I'm stuck there.
If steam is tagging this game with oculus, it should first verify that the game is actually updated for oculus+touch and working similarly as Vive version.
(Or maybe the steam download button is giving me the Vive version, not the Oculus version! I don't know)
So I asked for a full refund.
Well polished and fun to play.
Don't expect in depth strategy, there's a simple weapon upgrade system with two limited specialty weapons (missiles for swarms & lasers for capital ships).
My one small complaint is that some grinding is required to get certain upgrades... or I just suck.
This game is pretty good for its price. Played 3 hours and found it challenging but addictive. Really liked the space view and upgrade system, and it keeps my body moving as well so good exercise. Look forward to more patches and game content!
This game is great, you don't have full control of the ship. You can lean which kinda steers you away from enemy. You can get upgrades for your weapons and your ship. The game plays very well and its very addictive.
Kind of janky. Returning it. didnt even get to the point of flying because it requires getting stars or something to build it for your ship. So I sat there for 30 minutes trying to get used to the controls, but then got bored by it. Better shooters out there like Space Pirate trainer, and it restricts you from flying immediately. And not worth trying to play to get it.
Well done, I'd put 9/10, on this price. Heard this game from my friend, feels really good and relaxed(did not see that coming). Why is it yet not on OC home?
I played not much time cause dont wanna get tired of this nice playing experience. While waiting for real masterpieces I think it is fun killing time on my rift.
I can eventually make my rocking chair useful. haha lovely experience, I might make a video about it.
