Virtual reality meets the zombie apocalypse! Arizona Sunshine® is a first-person shooter built exclusively for VR that immerses you and up to three fellow survivors in a post-apocalyptic southwestern America overrun by zombies.
When you hear a flash of a human voice on the radio, your hopes surge - there are survivors out in the blistering heat of the post-apocalyptic Grand Canyon state! Armed with little more than your motion-controlled weapons and the scarce ammo and consumables you find along the way, you need to navigate the hordes of zombies coming for your brain in your desperate search for survivors.
Built exclusively for VR, Arizona Sunshine® puts you in the midst of a zombie apocalypse. Survive solo or join forces with fellow survivors, handle weapons with real-life movements, and freely explore a post-apocalyptic world in VR. Putting the undead back to rest is more thrilling than ever before.
Co-op multiplayer: Join forces with a friend in co-op campaign mode or multiplayer Horde mode for up to four players. But beware, more warm brains mean more hungry undead.
Real-life weapon handling: Using VR motion controllers, handle 25+ weapons with real-life movements. Anticipate attacks, manage ammo and aim down the sights to blast your enemies to undead pieces.
Full-size campaign: Built in bite-sized VR chunks that together form a full narrative, the campaign allows you to jump in for a short session or stay for the complete ride.
Free exploration: Move around without restraints to explore a series of huge southwestern American environments, including treacherous canyons and deep, dark mines.
Immersive zombie survival: Scavenge the environment, loot undead enemies and manage your ammo and consumables in a battle for survival more immersive than ever before thanks to VR.
Unprecedented VR realism: When powered by an Intel® Core™ i7 processor or equivalent, Arizona Sunshine brings unprecedented realism to VR gaming with zombie mutilation, destructible environments, and an overall cinematic and immersive experience.
Only in VR: Arizona Sunshine® is a VR shooter exclusively built for VR. Step into the midst of a zombie apocalypse as if you were really there and take on the undead unlike ever before.

i shoot zombie  i shoot teamte :stuems down:
Arizona Sunshine - Probably the best zombie VR game out there that I have played. Controls, story and gun play feels responsive and tight. Voice acting is also on point and the sound design is really good. The levels are rather open but linear and you can definitely get your money's worth for the amount of levels and fun there's to be fine in this game.
Highly recommend this game if you want to pop some zombies every now and then!
It's an old VR game, and you can tell. I'm sure it was fun at the time, but newer VR games have come out that are much better and a much better use of your time.

Great VR Game, shooting zombies with various weapons, not whole campaign is very short, only about 6 hours in total, mind you I have played it through twice already. but the dollar/hour is high unless you get it on high discount. Worth it at a descent discount price. Due to it being so short not worth it otherwise.
I got so frustrated i probably have skill issue but the aiming feels very off to me
Great for roomscale VR and new VR players.
its like they came back to this just to remove half of the stuff that made the game cool to get you to buy the remake
Heads blowing like watermelon, good campaign, many variations of guns
100/100
okay
Grand with friends.
This game runs like a turd
The controls are beyond bad, walking is clunky and every spot in the sand stops you from walking.
The rest is a boring shooter in a wildwest landscape.
Another example of a company trying to make fast money with VR and on the way giving VR-Games a bad name.
Luckily there are VR-Games that are fun and make the hardwarecost worth it.
F*ck you, that's why! Also, e9,99 extra get's you an upgrade to the REMAKE. What do you get? Multiplayer. But do note that the Multiplayer was also in this game, but taken out. Because I guess they'd earn more if you spend €9,99 extra. Serioulsy, scummy.
For me when I got into VR in 2016. This game felt like the first true full-fledged VR game I played.
Great voice acting
Absolutely love, the bright sunny environments filled with zombies
Great variety of guns
Feeling like Rick Grimes
There could be more, especially for singleplayer.
Pretty shitty you gotta buy the "remake" on a game thats not that old....
Still holds up today, besides a few bugs. Try it out fammo
A fun zombie shooter. Had an enjoyable time playing.
why are you reading this?
Arizona Sunshine was one of the first big VR zombie shooters, and while it still delivers some solid undead-slaying action, it’s starting to show its age. The gunplay is satisfying, the environments are atmospheric, and the co-op mode makes it a blast with friends. However, the movement can feel clunky, enemy AI is predictable, and the campaign is relatively short. If you’re new to VR, it’s still a decent experience, but there are better zombie shooters available now. Worth picking up on sale, but don’t expect anything groundbreaking.

Mind Boggling
Great fun and action zombie Survival Horrorish..., less scary than RE, what makes of it a great and refreshing alternative. Coop Idea sounds fantastic... still to play
Actually way better then I expected it to be. I've seen game play and thought it was cool, but never had VR until now. The protagonist is great and I really enjoyed him.
ts cheeks ngl
oof Yeah this game did not age well and if you are going to get the Either
A. Get the game on a steam key site as you can get the remake ten dollars cheaper
or B. Just by the remake there is no reason to get the original anymore
The remake includes better visuals better feeling gameplay and an already includes all the dlc at the same price
It was good at the time but again no real reason to buy this game unless if you're just gonna get a discount for the remake
Initially didn't get on with this game. After 20 minutes of not being able to hit the side of a barn door from 3 feet I gave up. After speaking with a friend I found out this was a common problem easily fixed. So after a bit of playing with the option I got the aim better and off I went killing zombies.
I'm not a FPS player on the whole and if that's all there was to the game I would probably have got bored with it after an hour or so. There are puzzles and obstacles to overcome that keep the interest for people like me, and horde of charging zombies to gun down if that's what your into. Fun in the sun with zombies and a gun.
Its a game about zombies and its good with friends!
Only game to make me motion sick! You know its a good game then!
Arizona Sunshine® is an intense, action-packed VR zombie shooter set in a post-apocalyptic version of the American Southwest. The game immerses you in a world overrun by the undead, where you must scavenge for weapons, ammunition, and supplies while battling through hordes of zombies. The game’s environment is expansive, with detailed landscapes that give a real sense of being out in the desert, fighting for survival. The controls are intuitive, allowing you to physically reload weapons, pick up items, and interact with the environment, making it feel more like you're truly in the world of Arizona Sunshine. With both single-player and co-op multiplayer modes, the game offers a great mix of story-driven missions and frantic zombie-slaying action. If you're a fan of VR shooters and love a good zombie apocalypse, Arizona Sunshine® delivers an exciting and immersive experience.
If you're a fan of VR first-person zombie shooters, Arizona Sunshine is a must-play. I was particularly impressed by the game's art style, engaging gameplay, satisfying gore, and diverse selection of weapons. The game injects some humor into its narrative, largely due to the protagonist's isolation, which has him teetering on the edge of sanity. This touch of silliness adds a unique flavor to the experience, making it both entertaining and memorable.
I loved it and I will be getting Arizona Sunshine 2.
It was good but honestly the price isn't worth the time investment. 5 hours to casually beat the game. That was while also looking around for extra stuff, which spoiler, there isn't any. This game is worth $5-$10. If it's on sale then it's a good pick up. Otherwise don't pay full price and I wouldn't get the HD remake because it doesn't have anything additional.
such greatings cause friendd
The time spent shooting to bullshitting ratio is a bit too low for me. I would rather be doing other things.
When the hell did I get this game? That's not even saying that as like a time thing. Why can I write a review for this game? I didn't buy this on steam. I have the remake on oculus, do I just have this on steam now? Did someone gift this to me? Am I crazy? ... Crazy?
Pretty good
The most accurate representation of Arizona
Played this with a friend. We both tried to enjoy it but the experience was just bland.
kinda really bad
i did have to change my undies a time or two. all in all it sucked me in a gave me a couple of little jump scares
Imagine no mans sky expected you to pay when they updated the game...
Imagine no more, welcome to Arizona Sunshine!
It’s a great game for when you’re still getting used to VR because it’s very linear, has basic controls that almost every other VR shooter uses, and includes essential accessibility options like teleport.
That said, it’s nothing special. As long as you’re not expecting some masterpiece with revolutionary VR gameplay, it’ll keep you entertained for a short while.
You can get softlocked in area if you do not have enough correct ammo (game does not give you enough) with only one save slot. Big oversight right there.
Played Arizona Sunshine for about 7 hours, and it was awesome! The zombie action is intense, and the controls feel super smooth. Exploring the desert and abandoned places is really immersive, and the voice acting adds some great humor. I lost track of time just having fun blasting zombies and scavenging for supplies. Definitely one of the best VR games I’ve played so far. Highly recommend it!
naah,
it doesnt feel good. Pretty dated game, which is weird because i use a dated vr headset
10/10 would have a heatstroke again
No. This game is very buggy.
good times with great friends
i wanna like it but i can't it feels clunky
