Initially didn't get on with this game. After 20 minutes of not being able to hit the side of a barn door from 3 feet I gave up. After speaking with a friend I found out this was a common problem easily fixed. So after a bit of playing with the option I got the aim better and off I went killing zombies.
I'm not a FPS player on the whole and if that's all there was to the game I would probably have got bored with it after an hour or so. There are puzzles and obstacles to overcome that keep the interest for people like me, and horde of charging zombies to gun down if that's what your into. Fun in the sun with zombies and a gun.

The game injects some humor into its narrative, largely due to the protagonist's isolation, which has him teetering on the edge of sanity. It was good but honestly the price isn't worth the time investment. 5 hours to casually beat the game. That was while also looking around for extra stuff, which spoiler, there isn't any. This game is worth $5-$10. If it's on sale then it's a good pick up. Otherwise don't pay full price and I wouldn't get the HD remake because it doesn't have anything additional.

The time spent shooting to bullshitting ratio is a bit too low for me. I would rather be doing other things.
When the hell did I get this game? That's not even saying that as like a time thing. Why can I write a review for this game? I didn't buy this on steam. I have the remake on oculus, do I just have this on steam now? Did someone gift this to me? Am I crazy? ... Crazy?

Played this with a friend. We both tried to enjoy it but the experience was just bland.

It’s a great game for when you’re still getting used to VR because it’s very linear, has basic controls that almost every other VR shooter uses, and includes essential accessibility options like teleport.
That said, it’s nothing special. As long as you’re not expecting some masterpiece with revolutionary VR gameplay, it’ll keep you entertained for a short while.
You can get softlocked in area if you do not have enough correct ammo (game does not give you enough) with only one save slot. Big oversight right there.
Played Arizona Sunshine for about 7 hours, and it was awesome! The zombie action is intense, and the controls feel super smooth. Exploring the desert and abandoned places is really immersive, and the voice acting adds some great humor. I lost track of time just having fun blasting zombies and scavenging for supplies. Definitely one of the best VR games I’ve played so far. Highly recommend it!

PLS DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!! I promise you that it's not worth 20$. They stole zombies from left for dead and the cars look like they got a free unity car. And when I first looked at it it look so well made before I played. But I do like Arizona Sunsfine 2.
Oh and yeah! Arizona Sunsfine and Arizona Sunsfine 2 don't even stay in the same story line, which I think is stupid as shit!
Literally unplayable, game keeps crashing right after the first tutorial zone (after climbing the ladder to the "bridge" basically) and/or whenever hitting continue. Might have been good if I were actually able to play it, we'll never know, but as it currently stands I cannot justify paying any amount of money for like 3 minutes of gameplay.
Must have VR Game!
Played the original when it first came out years ago. Was hesitant to play again but glad I did. This is a really great looking game. I seriously have kept playing just to see the improved graphics along the way. And it really is a great zombie shooter. You'll have a constant stream of threats coming your way with needing to manage the occasional horde.
If I had one gripe it's the reload of the guns. You can look at it as unnecessarily touchy or a feature that forces the player to become an expert at the given gun they have in the hand. You find this out quick after the first horde comes at you. I'm looking forward to playing through the expansions soon!

There isn't much to this game. Maybe it was great for the time on VR but it just feels cheap and more like something you'd find at a theme park as a quick experience rather than a full video game.
Just bought the remake, can't wait to play it again! :)

A classic VR must have game. The remake is probably worth picking up now as this game is a bit dated with the graphics. The levels are fun and the assortment of weapons are cool, I did have trouble swapping weapons and trying to drop items at times but other than that it controls really nicely and the co-op was good fun!
The guy you play as does YAP... and the level in the cave was painfully annoying trying to traverse with gun and flashlight but these are only small issues, game is definitely worth picking up but I'd recommend the remake as it's probably worthwhile compared to this version

Is fun to play and pretty funny but now there is a remake to enjoy all over again, give either a shot.
Why the new arizona sunshine remake is not just a graphical update for the old one is beyond me.
I get that the vr market is harsh, then - but still - that is just a kick to my wallets groin.
It's a very old game, but it's decent as your first VR game.
This game is not well optimized. This game is old and I have 16 gb video card and I got plenty of glitching in the first few minutes. Ew

Really disappointed in this game. I, and 2 brothers got this game to play together. (It does say "Online Co-op")
To be fair, I haven't tried "Horde mode" yet... but I can imagine it will be just wave after wave of zombies, and that will get boring real fast. After getting my withers all lathered up to play a round of campaign mode with my brothers, it was a big let down to discover that only one of us could join into the campaign match.
When we got this game a few months ago, I and one brother tried it to see how it played. We decided it would be fun. Well it was fun and we had a good time just the two of us, we couldn't hardly stand waiting until the other brother could join in.
Now that he was able and we got our big let down I'm more than bummed out. If I would have known when we first got it, I would have refunded the thing...
I don't either recommend or not recommend the game
because it was fun, just not the kind of fun we were looking for. (being only for two players) I know they have to draw a line somewhere, but any game worth it's salt would allow for 4 players. After all... 4 players are allowed in the horde mode.Lesson learned.... read "all" the information listed in the "about this game section" 1st!
It's pretty good, but The Walking Dead is of course better.
Very fun but I don't have much to compare it to because this is the first VR title I've played through. No ragrets definitely going to check out the sequel.
