It's a very old game, but it's decent as your first VR game.

This game is not well optimized. This game is old and I have 16 gb video card and I got plenty of glitching in the first few minutes. Ew

Plants VS Zombies with a gun.

Really disappointed in this game. I, and 2 brothers got this game to play together. (It does say "Online Co-op")
To be fair, I haven't tried "Horde mode" yet... but I can imagine it will be just wave after wave of zombies, and that will get boring real fast. After getting my withers all lathered up to play a round of campaign mode with my brothers, it was a big let down to discover that only one of us could join into the campaign match.
When we got this game a few months ago, I and one brother tried it to see how it played. We decided it would be fun. Well it was fun and we had a good time just the two of us, we couldn't hardly stand waiting until the other brother could join in.
Now that he was able and we got our big let down I'm more than bummed out. If I would have known when we first got it, I would have refunded the thing...

I don't either recommend or not recommend the game

because it was fun, just not the kind of fun we were looking for. (being only for two players) I know they have to draw a line somewhere, but any game worth it's salt would allow for 4 players. After all... 4 players are allowed in the horde mode.
Lesson learned.... read "all" the information listed in the "about this game section" 1st!

It's pretty good, but The Walking Dead is of course better.

Very fun but I don't have much to compare it to because this is the first VR title I've played through. No ragrets definitely going to check out the sequel.

It's a super fun game with friends—looting, shooting, and blowing zombies up! I really need to buy the second one.

I had many gameplay issues with this game but the main character cracking "funny jokes" to himself every two seconds made my experience so miserable that they become irrelevant to this review.
Whoever wrote this probably thinks Borderlands 2 or 3 are the funniest games ever made so if you disagree you will most likely die of cringe, stay away :|

Wonderful game, I really enjoyed it, I might be biased since I love zombie games, but the game it's really good, too bad it's so short, but then again, VR!

It was probably good when it first came out but now its pretty bad, lots of noticeably reused assets to an extreme degree, guns are not that bad but not very realistic mechanically, controls are slow and unresponsive, performance is bad even on the highest end hardware, store is bad, but still a little funny. even when its on sale for $2 theres better options.

Excellent game

This title is absolutely worth playing but you should make sure that it is your first VR game or at least your first VR first person shooter. I beat the game in 3.6 hours and it is, to be honest, a zombie shooter-styled tech demo. This game was released in 2016 and it is definitely showing it's age. If you are brand new to VR, I would recommend playing Job Simulator, The Lab, Arizona Sunshine, Vertigo, Bonelab/Boneworks, Into the Radius, and then Half-Life: Alyx, in that order. Do not play Alyx first because every title after that will pale in comparison.

The exception to the rule are the ultra-violence simulators like Gorn and Bland & Sorcery. Play those immediately, they are golden.

stuck on calibration screen. as far as i know there is no fix. get the remastered version not this. cant even manual realode.

Nothing breaks my vr immersion like getting stuck on the terrain which seems to be more of a feature than the zombies.

good first vr game, the remaster is out and AS2 so unless it up for cheap like few bucks get the remaster

Main story is a bit short but still very entertaining. I'm sure going back and collecting all the things will take a couple more hours plus the 2 dlc thingies. One of those games I'll likely run every few months in my down time.

Buggy as hell. I couldn't even finish the game due to the sheer amount of invisible barriers that appeared throughout the game. If you need to play this game, wait for the remake.

Still my favourite VR experience, on par with Super Hot. Both are interesting, fun and can be finished in one session. Very enjoyable. Will grab the remake for the newer engine and updated textures and effects, sure. If you have VR and haven't played this, it's worth it. Doesn't have the replayability of HHS&HG or Beat Sabre but it's a fun romp, as are the additional campaigns.

Jittery mess regardless of the settings and configs, haven't got that many problems in any VR game!
My CPU [5800x3d] sits at dozen percent utilization, GPU [7900 GRE] on around 40 and just 2 gigs of RAM in utilization [out of 32]... yet FPS count is capped at 60 FPS, and there is no way to change it. What a joke (none of the found tips helped).

Has a really good story line that's fun to play

I like this game with the multiplayer was better haven't played the second game yet just not willing to pay more then 10$ for a vr game yet..

W game love shooting zombies

I feel a little bad for this, but I really can't recommend this game. I recognize that it is older than basically every other VR game I own, but that doesn't allow me to overlook it's flaws. The protagonist is extremely irritating, the game is kind of boring, and the act of reloading is too arcade-y for my taste.
