We’re 6+ years and a 100+ updates in so far, so expect it to mutate, expand, contract, somersault, and occasionally explode along the way to final release.

Take & Hold
Battle your way through this Sci-fi Action Roguelite. In Take & Hold you are the intruder to the system. Equip yourself to take and then defend control points, while defeating Encryption Targets of escalating complexity. Earn tokens for your performance and spend them in item shops to prepare for the next wave.
Return of the Rotwieners
Awake outside the town of Wienerton, where a plague of rotten undead meat has beset the eccentric townsfolk of the Honey Hamlet. Find weaponry, craft powerups and explosives, and complete quests on your journey to discover the cause of the Rotwiener outbreak.
Meat Fortress
Fight in the Meat Fortress combat arena. Made with the official permission of Valve, this loving homage to one of our favorite games has Meaty parodies of Team Fortress 2’s 9 iconic classes, and VR adaptations of the entire original firearm set of the game, as well as over a dozen original creations made in the TF2 style.
Wurstwurld
Explore the ruins of the Wurstwurld amusement park. Solve puzzles, complete extreme horseshoe challenges, stand off against robit bandits and collect old logs that reveal the background on the most foolhardy and most assuredly not child safe amusement park doomed to failure.
Meat Grinder
Survive the Meat Grinder, the very first game mode added to H3 back in 2016. Navigate by flashlight through a surreal hellish fast food themed maze, collect precious ammo, defending against animatronic assailants, and dragging the ‘meat’ back to the Grinder in time.

One of my absolute favorite games of all time, the passion this fella puts into this game is insane, this has features no vr games even try to do; roguelike modes, ways to mess around, tons of mini games. This is like my favorite game to just boot up and lose myself in, updates are out of control. This game rules, if you own VR you need to own H3VR
i would recommend this game because the gun physics are beautiful and i could play this all day so its definitely a must play
The dev really thinks adding official mod support via steam workshop would be a "waste of time" and have "no measurable benefit". Modding the game is too complicated currently and adding steam workshop would make mods more accessible to more people, it benefits modders hugely yet the dev is so up his own a$$ he thinks it's a waste of time.
Off to the refund page I go.

Amazing game for people who like sandboxes. I personally like the games modes. The game is a realistic gun sandbox not a VR FPS. If you want an fps, buy Half-Life Alyx. If you are looking for a fun VR sandbox game buy this.
Best guns in VR, and a fun game to mess around in. Currently a bit lacking in actual objective-based content, but it has a huge modding scene that has added dozens of maps and game modes.
By far not only one of the most fun VR games I have played, but also one of the best gun sims on the market. If you so happen to also be cursed with gun autism (such as myself), you will enjoy this game greatly.
It's a pretty cool game, but this is a sandbox-first game.
There are a few great and not so great gamemodes here that utilize the gun arsenal well, but the true focus here is the gun sandbox.
My favorite gamemode so far has been Bullshoot, the newest addition as of writing, where you have to perform a series of tasks using given items. It plays quite well into the gun variety in the game, and has a lot of creativity and fun going for it.
There are few varied target practice modes as well, with differing quality, as well as some "rogue-like" gamemodes where you try to get as far as you can while trying to get better guns, however a lot of the modes are quite barren, with a lot of walking and not a lot of shooting or things to do, and very simplistic art.
The controls are very finicky here unfortunately. On Index, reloading guns, especially pistols can be annoying because of the size of the controllers, you end up hitting one controller against the other, unable to insert the magazine. As is with many other VR shooters, 2 handed weapon aiming is quite difficult here as well, trying to use any ironsights or scopes is difficult due to how inconsistently the movement speed/turning of the gun feels.
Another thing is the UI. It can definitely be improved, for options - more visual clarity, for gun spawner - easier ways to find compatible attachments. There also isn't really a unified style for the UI.
One thing I wish the game had is a "breach and clear" type gamemode. There is a map kinda like it, but its really not good. Just more tactical content in general would be cool, more reasons to use night vision or other lighting items. Since there's so many gun varieties here, preparing a loadout and storming a compound could be cool. I imagine the art style being sausages and poor AI could make this difficult to achieve however.
Another thing lacking is proper modding support. There is a modding scene, but it is unofficial on some random website. No Steam Workshop support, no in-game integration. Even just support for modded maps would help a lot with variety and content.
Overall, the amount of content here is decent for the asking price, especially if you end up liking the repeatable rogue-like modes, or wanna compete in high scores in target practice modes. Or just wanna shoot guns on different gun ranges/maps.
Brilliant. Shoot sausages. Make wild guns. Shoot everything. Lots of fun. Many physics. Wow.
This game is phenomenal and it is clear that the developer has a lot of love and care for his creation. There are at least three separate gamemodes/scenes that in of themself justify the $20 asking price, with a unique and inspired PvE gamemode, a lengthy, fun, and sometimes frustrating puzzle gamemode, and plenty of shooting range scenes to practice your aim or just blow stuff up.
Additionally, there is an active and developer supported modding community with many cool mods ranging from shitposts, masterpieces, and masterpiece shitposts.
I've had an absurd amount of fun with this and I have a ton of respect for the developer and his mindset.
I got a VR headset specifically for this game and it has not disappointed. One of the best games I've ever played.
Bought this game ages ago when the first Oculus VR Headset came out.
Re downloaded this recently and I play on the Meta Quest 3 and it still is one of the best VR gun sandbox games out there.

Pretty fun to mess around with. My favorite guns are honestly the cursed ones. Its one thing to see them on YouTube or the Internet but much cooler to mess with them and shoot them in VR. When on device/headset HW gets powerful enough id love to see this launch on VR headsets in the future considering being limited by a cable is kinda annoying but its not the worst thing ever.
Theses are the best vr guns get, i wish that there were more support for modding but otherwsie 9.5/10
almost refunded, then i put a little more time in and it clicked with me. this game is a great vr shooter, the mechanics are top notch. just wish it had smooth turning.

The greatest VR game, Esspecially as i am a gun nerd, even if you arent that much of a gun nerd it is still worth playing, and if you mod it it is even more better but vanilla is still great
I don't have to go to the US and risk getting offed in the street trying to get to the gun range. 8/10

Bullshoot is very fun, and the only reason i bought this in the first place, 100% Worth the money in my opinion.
Im an AMERICAN that means getting up at 4am in the morning, drinking 5 cups of black rifle coffee and training for 10 hours like Jocko Willink. Im armed to the teeth with pistols, rifles and tacticool gear that my wife thinks is useless but I tell her its what our founding fathers intented and to reread the constitution. On 4th of July its tradition to chug cheap imported beer and launch Chinese made bottle rockets to celebrate FREEDOM.Its called being an AMERICAN if you cant understand GET OUT
Game looks nice and things are modeled decently. But controls are utter garbage. A little circle or something showing where I can interact would be immensely helpful.
Best VR gun game ever made in my opinion. (I've played pavlov, onward, gun club vr, etc. and this one is just so much better)
It's the most realistic gun playground you can ask for, which made me, an European, more knowledgeable about guns than an average American. What a time to be alive.
This game is a 100% yes, recommendation.
I hadnt realized I didnt write a review yet, but the new Bullshoot mode made me want to.
I would even recommend this game SOLELY based on the Bullshoot mode existing. If you ignore every other massive pieces of content this game has, the Bullshoot mode on its own is worth the asking price of the full game.
Its genuinely some of the most fun Ive had in VR.
Outside of that, most of your time will be spent in the "rogue-like" mode, Take and Hold. I would say around 70 of my hours in this game are in that mode. Getting (at the time of writing) 94 hours out of ANY VR game, is absolutely insane and extremely rare. Getting 94 hours out of a 20 dollar VR game, is even more unheard of.
Typically VR games just do not have that level of staying power, but this one absolutely does, and its not even finished yet (technically, but any other developer would call this finished, but anton is not just any other developer).
It's cool, but very lonely. Not for me.
Game is fantastic. Anton is an amazing dev who has so much love for his game, and the community. Literally my only complaint is that it's VR only, and that's not even against Anton or the game, but solely because VR options right now just suck (Do you want expensive as hell, or terrible software that doesn't work half the time?). I want a desktop version of Take and Hold SO BADLY

i think the idea of shooting sausages instead of people is a much neede refresher from every other vr shooter
not to mention it adds a humerous twist to the usually gory fps shooter genre
theres TONS of guns in this game, realistic guns, funny guns, hell theres even a handheld steel reinforced pringle launcher (im not joking)
and thats just GUNS. theres the typical attachments like scopes. grips. silencers. but theres also stuff like a train whistle silencer, christmas light attachments and much more.
not to mention the gamemodes, theres a wide variety of gamemodes ranging from a sandbox to test out guns to a (as of writing innaccesible) work in progress hitman like gamemode (watch anton hand's devlogs for more info)
long story short i love this game

joking side Anton has poured his heart and soul into this game and its just as incredible as everyone said it was, so glad i finally get to try it with my own hands. If you have a VR headset and you want a sandbox to really push the limits of your system, give this game a shot.

This game is a VR shooter killer. I've tried buying and playing multiple other VR shooters and none can compete with this one. It plays great on my mid-tier system (both modded and vanilla) and I’d imagine it would still be a solid experience on a lesser rig. I have been keeping up with the weekly dev logs for quite some time now and it's very clear that Anton (the dev) cares for this game a lot. An unprecedented amount of detail is put into this that screams “I love what I do!”. The updates are frequent and he’s very open about what he’s working on. As someone who has a tistic love of firearms, being able to operate the plethora of historical and modern pieces of kit is remarkable considering 95% or more of the guns in the game wouldn’t be able to be owned legally where I’m from *sigh*…Canada. I keep coming back to it so I highly recommend it if you enjoy them even somewhat. The game is a sandbox with a ton of stuff for you to try.
I just recently got into modding the game and it gave it a new and exciting world for me to dig a hole to put myself into - modular firearms. Being able to build one from scratch in whatever style, length, and caliber I want has given me a whole new level of love for what this game can do. Plus it gives the ability to play new game modes on completely different maps than what are in vanilla. Zombies - yup, supply raid/take and hold on a 747 - uh huh, and tons more to try. I can’t recommend this game enough. It could cost 3x what it does now, and it still would be worth it IMO.

My god, this game, made by ONE amazing man over the course of 8 years, has gotten features non fuckin stop to the point that if you were to only ever get ONE VR game. This could be be. Its the best gun simulator on the market, its got amazing climbing and locomotion, its got really good and satisfying melee combat, stealth and h2h gameplay. Its got horde shooters, it has rougelike pve modes, its got a survival horror level, its got a fuckin full on zombie game within a game, its got a westen game within a game, its got boss fights and toys galore. My god even without the excellent modding scene this is THE best vr game i have ever had the joy to play

Shot a flash grenade directly into my own face, which caused me then panic fire my AK, also into my own face.
10/10 the only way i'll ever be able to safely interact with firearms.
Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a game with realistic gun mechanics or to anyone who just wants to mess around with strange weapons or unique game modes.
Everytime i play this game i quake in pleasure. I spasm out and my body shakes extremely rapidly. I begin to scream. This game gives me a violent response everytime i play it. Do not buy.
11/10, amazing game. Developer is extremely active in his discord server and answers any questions you have. By far the best shooter game in VR.

I bought H3 in late 2017, and whenever I take a few months' break after a binge & come back I feel like I've bought a DLC pack with real money for how much content was added into the game. Except I didn't, because all the updates have been free, and I've been enjoying a small group's passion project grow and grow for 7 years straight and it's just beautiful.
No DLC, no drama, no game-ruining updates. Just guns and fun, as the Founding Fathers intended.
if you're a gun guy or just want to fuck around with guns, this is THE game to do it. or you can just buy it to experience the twelve glouge
This frequently updated and highly detailed weapon simulation is the best available on the market, offering a selection of different ranges from the comfort of your own home. Featuring a sizable variety of modes and weapons in addition to mod support, this level of fidelity almost feels like a steal for the price tag.
