Take & Hold
Battle your way through this Sci-fi Action Roguelite. In Take & Hold you are the intruder to the system. Equip yourself to take and then defend control points, while defeating Encryption Targets of escalating complexity. Earn tokens for your performance and spend them in item shops to prepare for the next wave.
Return of the Rotwieners
Awake outside the town of Wienerton, where a plague of rotten undead meat has beset the eccentric townsfolk of the Honey Hamlet. Find weaponry, craft powerups and explosives, and complete quests on your journey to discover the cause of the Rotwiener outbreak.
Meat Fortress
Fight in the Meat Fortress combat arena. Made with the official permission of Valve, this loving homage to one of our favorite games has Meaty parodies of Team Fortress 2’s 9 iconic classes, and VR adaptations of the entire original firearm set of the game, as well as over a dozen original creations made in the TF2 style.
Wurstwurld
Explore the ruins of the Wurstwurld amusement park. Solve puzzles, complete extreme horseshoe challenges, stand off against robit bandits and collect old logs that reveal the background on the most foolhardy and most assuredly not child safe amusement park doomed to failure.
Meat Grinder
Survive the Meat Grinder, the very first game mode added to H3 back in 2016. Navigate by flashlight through a surreal hellish fast food themed maze, collect precious ammo, defending against animatronic assailants, and dragging the ‘meat’ back to the Grinder in time.

i have seen lots of videos of this over the years the last time i played this feb 5 it was lagging due to the internet connection between my oculus quest 2 (its like 3 years old got it the same month it came out)
Guns... funny cool VA lines... and more guns.. very epic indeed.
I'm not the biggest gun nut, I try to stay away from realistic games that involve real wars and things. That being said I really enjoy this game, with and without mods. The base game alone is hours of gameplay if you enjoy skill based VR games. Going to the range and tweaking the little bits and gadgets, learning how the simulated long range shooting works, and all the little bits and side things in the game are really fantastic. With mods the game is just stellar, so many weird and fun guns are added to the game and there's a few guns that they've made to have a clear case so you can see the mechanisms in the gun. There's also a great handful of fantasy guns in the game (my favs are a tossup between the Blade Runner revolver and the Malcolm's pistol from Firefly).
The devs love this game and it really shows. If you want one of the best bangs for your buck for VR put this game on your list.

H3VR is a fun game but focuses heavily on gun enthusiasts, therefore the weapon choices are no CoD because,
last I checked, CoD didn't have significantly more than needed MP5 variants.
Depending on who you ask, this is good. If you just ask the regular VR Joe, there is a good chance he will not find this game amusing for longer than maybe an hour or two.
What makes the dogs so hot?
The game has certain game modes that are infinitely replayable, such as Take and Hold. Other modes aren't as replayable for the regular person but still fun, like Bullshoot. There are even more game modes which are less popular and which I haven't even played yet, but Take and Hold and Bullshoot are amongst the most popular. There are also the regular plinking modes which go without saying.
What horses the shoe?
The guns in this game are crazy with how realistic or ridiculous some can be. You can have a biblically accurate musket and a break-action, rainbow colored, YOLO-sighted, 2011 chambered in .50 BMG in the same loadout and only your friends would ask about your missed-out therapy visits. Not only that, it also has rocket launchers that took me playing a tutorial to figure out how to use (im looking at you... FIM-92 Stinger..)
These 2 points are your puzzle pieces to enjoy the game, fun game modes and stupid weaponry.
However, nothing goes without criticism
What Grenades the Hand
My main 2 issues come from a political and technological realm.
Let's start off with the more common issue being Hardware.
H3VR has a lot of features locked being having a controller that uses a touchpad and not a joystick, if you want to play like you would any other VR shooter, you need to sacrifice some features that would be cool to have, like spinning your revolver, de-cocking/cocking hammered pistols, etc.
This game is also decently unfriendly to Quest 2 controllers, as they are joystick-based controllers and also have the huge tracking rings, making some guns feel like Hell on Earth to operate.
The issue that some people will definitely disagree with is the politics. Certain weapons that would be a dream to be able to use virtually, like the AK-50, will not be added because of Brandon Herrera's, the gunsmith behind the AK-50, political views, but also the political views of his now gone reddit page. However, the politics of the devs doesn't affect the game so much that it's an anti-woke, anti-left circlejerk, nor a game where the hot dogs are transgender or something.
TL;DR
Game is fun for those who are gun enthusiasts, less fun for those who aren't. Still a sliver of enjoyment available for those who aren't as interested in guns. Not very Quest 2 friendly, but the unfriendliness comes from a few weapon types, so not the end of the world.

Next to limitless gun sandbox. There's absolutely no story or sense of progression but the weapons are so fun to customize and use that I don't even care.
Bought it for Meat Fortress since I am a TF2 fan. I was not disappointed, not only is Meat Fortress incredible but the whole game is. I strongly recommend this game if you have VR.

I've played many VR games both old and new and I've yet to find a game that has a better form of proper firearm handling/operation, Anton (The creator of H3VR) is the best!

Best gun/range simulator out there, and is still in early access, wish other games were this good upon release
The most entertaining and fun weapon VR simulation I've ever seen.
As a shooter, I can say that the guns in this game are super good and feel like real ones (except that you won't feel the weight of the gun, but if you have something like rifle-controller it won't be such a deal). Also the fact that you can install a lot of mods to diverse your gameplay is pretty cool. Plus, developers release regular updates and keep in touch with the community, which is actually a very good manner.
Overall, if you want an interesting, fun and realistic VR gunplay bundled with sandbox, this game is totally for you. There are so many ways to play, especially with mods, that you'll never get bored.
This game is the main reason i got a VR headset. The "Take and Hold" mode is very addicting and there are plenty of mods to try out.
There is no other VR game that can replicate how realistic and fun this game gun manics are! :D
As my first VR game ever bought, this is one if not the best VR shooter on Steam. There is so much that you can do and the devs (or Anton Hand on Youtube who is with Rust LTD.) have so much love and passion for this game. If you are just getting into VR and like messing around with guns, explosives, hot dogs, and memes, H3VR is the game to play. VERY MUCH worth it :)

This game is ridiculously technically accurate while also being absolutely bonkers.
This game is best for when you want to play a game with guns and play with all the guns you can think of even some wacky. Not only does this have guns it has melee weapons like a karambit fade or grenades as well as flash bangs. so if you looking for a game to shoot some gunnss throw some nades and stabb some water melons then this is the game for you.
This is by far my comfort VR game. It's such fun where you can either do high octane Take and Hold's or chill at the range. The dev is so amazing and gives out free weekly updates and is fully inn on mod support for the game.
This game is what a passion project looks like, and no in-game purchases or DLC. Only the price upfront for a wonderful game you can spend countless hours in.

What more is there to love then some great hotdogs at the firing range? OK, alot more. But you won't find those things together outside of this game smashed with hundreds of guns and many, many, MANY gamemodes.
This game keeps getting better as the years go by and doesn't seem to be changing pace. There are situations anyone with an itch to shoot or destroy things in VR will be able to find enjoyable.
I've been following the game since the dev made a super simple set of weapons for a VR tech demo that became this game. I don't think you can regret such a well loved title that still gets updates.
H3 is one of my favorite vr games, the gun simulation is great and there is contestant updates, its always fun to just boot up and screw around!

This is what a passion project looks like. An update every week, a developer who listens for fan recommendations, no cut corners, nothing you need to pay for other than the game itself, and a kind of quality formed by love for the work and fans that AAA games don't give.
Anton continues to innovate with this game and tries to always add a few new guns every couple of updates. Unparalleled simulation of firearms, the only downside to this game is that it will make every other VR FPS feel bad in comparison.
my computer isnt strong enough to run this game anymore but for what little time i played it at half resolution, it was fun

Especially when the RNG in Take and Hold gives me three guns with terrible iron sights. I swear this thing is against me sometimes, I have yet to finish a full 5 hold run in the newest map
This is the first game I will always recommend for first time VR users (unless they have absolutely no interest in guns.)
It is the finest shooting you will experience in VR and the dev (Anton) is an incredible guy.
You owe it to yourself to play this game and experience some of the best VR has to offer.
Hands down the best vr game for guns out there, the graphics are good, the gameplay is good, the audio is wonderful, and the gun models are true to life and fun to use, continuous updates with the developers craing about the game with no microtransactions, and a caring modding community, its genuinely worth the price considering its so low compared to other more expensive vr games

This game kinda has the feelings of a tech demo, but it's a tech demo that keeps expanding its scope. The way guns work here has completely ruined every other VR shooter. Play at your own risk

Hotdogs, Horseshoes and Handgrenades is one of my all time favorite games, with hundreds of guns, weapons, and other fun things to play with, as well as several games within the game. This game is why I love VR. There is so much to do, and with updates just about every week, I don't think I'll run out of things to do any time soon.
H3VR is, ultimately, what VR means to me. It’s infinite possibilities, infinite fun, infinite everything. And since I bought this game several years ago, it's only gotten better.
It is simply, as the developer would put it, "wonderful."
I FUCKING LOVE THIS GAME (a shame that there is no multiplayer only with mods but then there is no server finder)
Terrific game. Awesome weapon handling, great graphics and really nice sound (shooting a .50bmg in open space and the reverb hitting you is sweet!)
No "single player campaign", but quite a few scenes (as far as I could see, but I haven't played all scenes yet).
These are shooting ranges and "game modes", like take and hold, where you fight your way to points to hold, with a steady weapon progression. Or there is an Undead scene, where you complete objectives in a rogue-light to get to the end of the map.
There is a ton of guns from different eras (wild west, WW, modern, scifi) and attachments and even melee / medieval weapons.
An incredibly fun, gun sandbox game and with it being constantly updated theres always new things you can mess around with plus with tf2 being one of my favourite games, being able to physically use some of the weapons in vr is really satisfying
One of the best VR gun games, if not the best. The Dev puts all his love and passion in it. He is very open with the community and makes weekly devblogs about upcoming changes.
Great game, every gun is very detailed and has hours worth of things to do and is always being updated, great community as well.

The most accurate VR firearm simulator. Still early access (meaning it's not finished), but considering the pricetag, the game has more than enough fun and engaging content while not being insanely demanding.
I recommend the game due to its potential, but you will want a higher end headset to keep wires out of the way, and to prevent your older headset from becoming a blowtorch to your face due to the amount of time it takes to get familiar with everything. Not for me, or my headset at this moment. (Using Quest 2 via link cable)
