It definitely is the most detailed VR gun game, if not the most detailed guns in any game. Fighting human-sized hotdogs is weird at first, but you can get used to it pretty quick. . There isn't much to do other than what you see in Youtube videos, but if you like that kind of stuff, you like this game too.

This is a lot of fun, I used my PSVR2 with the adapter and all that jazz and it worked flawlessly.

As a gun nerd and shooter enjoyer this game is worth much more than 20$. The vr gunplay is the best of its class, and mods make it even better. If you own a vr of any tipe and are a gun nerd please buy this game.

One of the best VR games I've played. This game is a must have if you have a VR setup. I think this game could genuinely qualify as some form of basic firearm training, which as a lone statement is quite terrifying.

It's got all the silly and iconic arms you could ask for, don't ask me how you mod the damn thing.

If you're confused/stuck on how to use the weapons in game the developer's got a pretty decent tutorial series on his YouTube channel.

the default game is fully enjoyable with it many gamemodes and best of all it modding capibilitys because yea. at some point some mods wouldn't hurt if it makes the game more fun but the base game itself is still very noticeable. i do still love one thing about this game.... THE CHAMBERING OF ROUNDS. come on? the sounds of you reloading your weapons doesn't give you the spike of energy after hearing some of these guns? man i got stuck playing it sometimes because of the M1 Grand or the Sniper (i forgot the name) sounds. the sounds are amazing.

Great game for people who like to shoot. The mechanics are really intuitive and realistic, many of the weapons I own or have already shot are really realistic. Comes very close to the feel of the real guns and I would go so far as to say that to a certain extent the program can even be used to supplement shooting training or to introduce inexperienced shooters.

This game is a gun simulator/sandbox first, game second. It does what it does very well, but everything else is kinda meh. The guns feel great and are very realistic, it's fun to just shoot them in a range. Most of the scenes labeled as "games" just kinda suck. Take and Hold and Bullshoot are the only kind of fun ones, and they get old very fast with very little depth. Some mods add some cool gamemodes that are more fun, but the enemy AI is just not fun to fight against. Also there's no running, only a sprint toggle. Don't buy this game expecting combat, it's a gun sandbox. That said, it's still in early access, meaning everything I just said could change (hopefully it does, even if it's mods that do it). I would say it's worth it's price for what it offers, but if you're not *really* into guns, maybe wait for a sale. (I will adjust this review as more is added)

If you like guns & messing around this game is DEF a good one to try out in general with the ranges to shooting sogsigs
the amount of of options are honestly overwhelming with the scopes, ammo types, attachments, joke guns
and other things and gives it alot of playtime with the amount of stuff you can fidget with.

This is a game you can sink hours into, makeing dream laodouts, testing how many claymores are needed to reach low earth orbit, Its just fun, gets good updates, and is overall a great game.

GUUUNS!!!! This is an amazing gun sandbox with some dang good gamemodes added on as a treat. This is the VR game I first and foremost recommend when someone asks for a game to get on VR and YOU should get it as well

I think this is currently the best shooter on VR that you can buy. I've had quite a bit of fun experimenting with the hundreds of guns available and they consistently update the game with new content for free.

i have now owned this early access title for years.
every week almost without fail there is an update, new items or fixes based of the communities want's and needs.
we get a almost 100% clear insight directly into develoment.

Very fun to mess around in. Way too realistic lol. I think it would be cool if the game had more video game guns. Something about getting a gun that is stuck in a 2D game into your hands of a super realistic VR game is just very cool. Alr hear me out: Helldivers 2 colab. eh? Maaaaaybe its just because I want to shoot the autocannon with the luger style action, but who knows (:

This is an amazing game, but only if you're a gun nerd. I'm a gun nerd, so I have a lot of fun playing this.

If you don't enjoy shooting guns just for the purpose of shooting guns, you most likely will get bored of this real quick.
The only thing this game has to offer that isn't a gun sandbox is Take & Hold, but If it's not your thing it'll get repetitive fast. You can look up some videos of that to get an idea of whether you'd enjoy the gameplay loop or not.

Although, It does look like the developer is working on a new gamemode that's a lot more in depth. So, there is a possibility that this game will become more diverse in the future.

It's a simulator, so the fun is in learning about all the different stuff. At first you will think "There are so many guns and they are all the same, what's the point?" But after a while you will think "This game needs more bullups with pic rails." The combat in the Take and Hold game mode does a great job of bringing out the real-life positives and negatives of each weapon class and of each individual weapon. I've learned a ton about small arms from this game in a very fun and engaging way, in the same way that I learned about racecars from driving sims and aviation from flight sims. And the anthropomorphic hot dogs are funny.

Also, incidentally, it's by far the best (i.e. most fun) single-player VR shooter in every way. Nothing else compares. The biggest downside is that it will ruin all other VR shooters for you.

Best shooting VR game. No game competes with the level of detail in the weapons. So much to enjoy and it is even more expandable with mods.

Starting off, my main interest was Take & Hold. It was very hard at first, not knowing all the little tricks to the game, like how loading loose rounds is easier than loading a stripper clip on pistols that have huge ones, that you can have multiple rounds in hand at once to load revolvers instead of needing to reach for your pocket to load each one, and so on. It was frustrating and I never got very far, but I still enjoyed it for a while, until I realized there wasn't much variety. There are a lot of guns, but you'll always get the same few shit ones to start off with and theres basically no chance at customization if your gun isn't covered in picatinny rails already since the rail adapter purchase option gives you a random rail adapter for a random gun, and I suspect, for guns you can't even get for a given character!

I don't regret the money spent on it, but I won't be playing it again until the Contracts gamemode comes out in some form. Take & Hold is just too aimless. Theres no sense of progression for me.

Must have for gun nerds. It's a game that allows you to enjoy the engineering of firearms with none of the icky real life implications. Keeps me coming back.

This is easily the most immersive VR game I've ever played, Anton is a very dedicated and genuinely pours his heart and passion into every update. His passion and attention to detail makes this a very enjoyable experience. I thought this game was perfect and then he dropped the NVG update, mind blowing. I'm excited for the Hitman style game mode that he's talked about. Its well worth 20 bucks i'd've paid 60 buy this game now

Gun go bang, Legitimately one of the best gun focused vr games on the market, and its aged like a fine wine thanks to big dick Anton molding his creation into a super fun game with constant updates and new weapons, and if there's something you cant find in game, there's a good chance someones already modded it in.

Theres simple ranges, indoor and outdoor, like a dozen or more other environments to mess around in, you literally get to play this game how you want to. Want to scavenge for guns in take and hold, slowly building up your arsenal? Go for it, ooooorr.. spawn whatever you want and shred your way through the facility at your own pace

Rapidly becoming my favorite VR game. The selection of guns is unrivaled by any game, VR or otherwise. Each gun is accurately modeled with great care and attention to detail. If the real-world gun has a unique quirk or feature, odds are the H3VR version does as well. Ballistics, ammo types, all that is modeled accurately as well. You can tell that the developers have a real passion for firearms, both modern and historical. The only thing that beats H3VR on the realism front is getting off your ass and going to the gun range.

Take and Hold is extremely fun and addictive despite the repetitive gameplay loop. It's a lot of fun having to fight through the facility with different weapons each time, forcing you to learn how each one works and how to use it best. It's my personal favorite of the H3VR gamemodes, although almost all of them are quite good.

I also enjoy the Grillhouse map/gamemode, which is a small town with multiple buildings that acts as a sandbox where you can test out your guns on a wide selection of hostile (and innocent civilian) weiners. It's good for doing minigun room clearing and other such antics.

But yeah, if you have a half decent PC and more than a passing interest in firearms, this game is definitely well worth the $20. I will say that it probably isn't for everyone. The highlight of H3VR is the design and selection of the guns themselves, not so much the combat. Take and Hold is great and I love it, but if you're just looking for a VR shooter to pick up and play, you'd probably be better served by another game.

The stones and sticks of modifiable firearms in virtual reality. This game is amazing at the thing what its trying to do and i can shoot sosiges :D

just about as good as it gets for vr sandbox games, its tons of fun with several game modes that give the game a ton of variety and replayablility.
the devs and the community are very nice and committed to the game and its future, even after all these years, which is a refreshing change of pace compared to most games, especially singleplayer games
also if you ever get bored of the base game, which took me +150 hours of playing like every day, the modding community for this game is very active and mods are very easily accessible even if you've never modded a game before without just using the workshop

I can't begin to describe the joy this game can bring in short, controlled bursts, but I can assure you that you will not regret purchasing this solo project. Anton has been developing in VR for quite some time and his tech is solid, this is one of if not the best gun simulator in VR as far as the feel, physical interactions, and sound design of each weapon is concerned. 10/10 would throw a ripcord Mac-11 into a room full of sosigs again, very fun April Fools update.

very fun game. mainly beecause blowing up hotdogs can be oddly satisfying. gam can be very breakable and buggy some times. it also can be a bit of a steep learning curve on how to use some of the guns

Super fun sandbox. The dev is still really active and put out quality content. The gun handling is top notch and so satisfying. This game is a massive fidget toy and it tickle my 'tism in the best kind of way.

I changed my graphics settings and the game was unplayable I want to try the game again bc i didn't even play it for more than 15 mins shot 2 guns then it wouldn't run bc i messed up my settings couldn't fix it outside of VR seems fun and cool but really disappointed that it messed up

This has been literally the only game I play whenever I get on VR. If your a gun fanatic, this is definitely for you.
