Welcome, General! Until last year, the mead business couldn't have been better.
But then that horde of evil, mead-stealing, green-skins turned up and stole our machinery.
At times like this, a mead-maker's got to do what a mead-maker's got to do.
So put down your mead mugs and get those axes sharpened. These are dark days, my friend. But we will not rest until we have taken revenge for every last drop of stolen mead!
ABOUT
Orczz is a fantasy tower defense game set in the fantasy Kingdom of Whiteleaf, famous for its delicious honey wine – the mead.
The player controls the Knight Order of the Mug, protectors of Whiteleaf and the mead, who are once again called to defend the land against an invading horde of orcs.
The game features a story driven campaign with 6 different areas, minigames, achievements and 40 different units.

I am 32 years old.
My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old.
When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing.
Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side.
With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay.
After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like.
Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends.
Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together.
Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that.

A not-so original lane-defense game.
The game is simple and not that challenging, it only starts to get harder on the more advanced levels. But it's fun for what it is.
Not exactly Starfield material, but still a decent Plants vs. Zombies-inspired lane tower defense with a cute story.
A very garbage tier Plants VS Zombies clone.
No fun in strategy. Zero fun in resource management,
An absolute lack of fun in unit choice and their placement.
How to make Plants VS Zombies terrible? Oh how about zero resources, focus on spaming unlimited garbage units just for sake of delaying enemies, the audacity of giving you limited units, being force to use akward adn clunky catapults on each lane for main damage and thrash idea of confusing players by calling gold "gold" on unit selection screen but its called "score" during gameplay.
Oh not to mention giant tons of bugs, visual glitches, pixel artifacts all around the UI, ugly and horrible outdated UI that is FAR worse than generic tower defense games and in Plants VS Zombies (y'know, a video game from 2009), awful designed encyclopedia that all it does is showing a single enemy by clicking left or right arrow and same issue as with Plants VS Zombies where there is ONLY ONE resolution, you cannot change window size and playing at fullscreen looks awful like it was some sort of crappy mobile port.
Seriously they cannot even make unit selction correct.
You need to select a unit and click far away button "hire" every SINGLE time.
To unselect? Oh you just click the unit portrait. WHY???
If you already copy the game idea why not copy that too at least?
Why is there so many boring copy pasted units in your army selection?
Like first 5 units you unlock is just the same recolor knight being melee character with one being cheapest, other dealing slightly more damag and other being slightly more resistant.
Do you think it gets better after that? Lol, nope.
Anything to boast about big number of units in game description, eh?
Audio assets are horrible. Music, sound effects and voices sounds like those was recording on a Nokia and then played again to a cheap Xbox 360 headset and then slap into this game.
You remember how much it was fun to not click in time around those gold coins and sun in Plants VS Zombies? Well it was fine at least because you did swim in money anyway and sun was not that much important as long as you winning the level anyway.
Well, developers of Orczz thought that it's a genius idea to make you spend gold on each units on each mission so BETTER click on those coins as soon as possible because you need that gold to play next missions. FUN!
The final nail to the coffin to quit this game was how boring it is.
Like I played for so many levels and all them was the same thing slow roll of same enemy variety.
Clicking on your units to spawn them is some next level of clunkiness because it takes a 2 second after cooldown done when you can click a unit and after clicking it it takes another second or two to be able to place it.
And then is using catapult......OH BOY it feels so baaaad.
Y'know how its fun to look forward on next weird and unique plant or zombie after each level?
Well yeah Orczz all it gives you its just another boring reskin. YAAAAWN!
Like how far I need to play in Orczz until levels will stop feel like the first baby tutorial level from Plants VS Zombies?
Don't know, don't care. I am so done.
And to think I was so exicted to play this game while thinking "hey look it looks like a clone of one of my most favourite Lane Defense games. It could be fun" and BOY I was so much wrong!
I was one of earliest people to purchase this game after a release.
I came back to it 7 years later in hope that "hey maybe that mess of a buggy early access game feels now like a polished good game to say at least".
NOPE. Actually I think that the game got even worse over those years.
Where them plants at?
Playable.
This is not a good game. It looks like a Plants vs. Zombies clone at first, but the only similarity is the lane-based combat. You don't earn currency during each map to buy units. Instead, they're on a timer. Worse, all units of the same type restart their timers if you summon any of them. So while you may have 3 melee units on your action bar to summon from, in reality you really only have 1.
The game also contains many terrible mini-games that occur between matches. For example, a whack-a-mole type game with anvils where you have to smash the Orcs and not smash your Knights. However, you also need to collect the coins that drop when you smash an Orc. Clicking the coin also drops an anvil in that lane which will usually smack a Knight who is just popping his head up. So you can either collect the coins and lose or avoid smashing the Knights and get no reward.
Despite these problems I stuck with the game for a while until the level difficulty suddenly ramped up out of nowhere. As you progress in the game the enemies suddenly get much stronger and appear way faster than you can summon units to put in your lanes. Plants vs Zombies did a great job of balancing this. Orczz does not.
Oh, and if you do decide to play it, watch out for the Bomb Tool, the only one I unlocked. It says "300" in the spot where, on other units, it tells you how many you can have on the map at once. This is not telling you how many bombs you can have on the map at once, though. It's also not telling you how many bombs you have to use (you know, the other logical choice). No, it's telling you that it will subtract 300 points from your total game score for each bomb you use, which is a ridiculously high cost.
Just don't bother with this one, not even if you get it for free. It's not worth your time.
The story is lighthearted and funny, telling the tale of an invading orc horde that has the sole objective of stealing mead from an alliance of humans and dwarves.
The gameplay is simple and easy to learn: recruit an army, defend the horizontal lanes and protect the catapults. The catapults can be manually fired with devastating effect, sometimes killing 2 or 3 orcs with a perfect shot.
And it's also very cheap on sale.
Plants vs orcs.
Not groundbreaking, not fascinating, but light-hearted and funny.
Good entertainment for a couple of hours.
Not particularly original, but it's kinda funny.
It's also really cheap.
It's a poorly put together lane-defense in the style of plants vs zombies (not to make any direct comparisions, just so you know what we are talking about here.) It's ugly as sin, has very slow gameplay. Audio assets are horrbile. But at least it's playable and seems to have a complete campaign and there are no obvious game breaking bugs.
It desperately needs a speed-up button and the missing keyboard shortcuts for spawning units (1-6) is an obvious miss as well.
Not the worst game, but at the current state I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Perhaps at half price, if you have the flu and are listening to some audio book and you desperately need some mind numbing, soul draining, slow paced click action.
Or maybe it's just me having a really bad day. I can't tell the difference anymore.
