Does everything what the sequel did, but better. must play for fans of the series.

This game is both an improvement and downgrade of the first game. And here are why:
Improvement:
+More traps to play with
+More levels to play including classic and endless
+2 characters to play as
+New weapons to experiment with
Downgrade:
+Weapons do not feel good to use. Ex: Crossbow can no longer headshot constantly like the first game even when I already aimed at my enemy's head
+Un-upgraded traps suck. I can kill more enemies by farting in their directions than waiting for the trap to actually kill them. DoT traps are fine but active traps? Nope.
+Annoying enemies: OK I get it, the game need to be challenging in order to keep player interesting but how do you F up by introducing succidal enemies early in the game? Oh and with the exit no longer heal you, good luck staying alive with those annoying gremblins charge at you and detonate their explosive, destroying barcade and killing you in the process. And don't get me started with the Orge.
Overall, OMD2 is an OK game but oh boy did the game sometimes makes me want to tear shorts and eat it Bart Simpson 's style.
No melee :(
Like there are melee weapons and all but if you get hit a single time you don't get the full reward. And well melee being melee you will get hit~
Otherwise great coop game.

Really good game up to the point where you want max skulls on nightmare difficulty. The game is practically designed for a coop experience and if you try by yourself on that difficulty it is borderline impossible sometimes.
Don't even think about coop, it crashes the level every single time. It was manageable in the beginning, but then it came to a point where the game would crash every single time on the second last round of coop that is it is simply unplayable.
Great game
A masterpiece, Orcs must die 2 took everything about the first game and turned it up to 11. More maps, more characters, more ways to slay orcs, multiplayer, cleaner graphics. The original was great, this here is what I would call a nearly perfect game for what it wants to do, its a super fun tower defense game that is accessible even to people who have never played tower defense games before. Its best enjoyed with a multiplayer partner, but can absolutely be enjoyed solo. Its a game that is just straight up fun, that looks great, is fairly polished and is cheap. On sale you can get this for like 3 bucks, thats honestly robbery for a game this good. I give orcs must die 2 my highest recommendation.

A unique and fun series. I love all of the OMD! games. Don't miss this if you like strategy, tower defense, and third-person shooters.

IT WONT STOP FUCKING CRASHING ON THE LAST WAVE FUCK
Like the first, a great trap strategy game ruined by an instance on forcing people to use the dodgy half-baked combat. The 20% of the game and really it's only selling point, is the traps. Great fun, but incredibly poorly balanced and a lot are purely not worth the time. Mostly because the games other 80% (the forcing of the dodgy combat) ruins so much trap game play. The game can't let you use the weaker, poorly balanced traps - many of which are awesome fun, because they don't uninstall orcs. Meaning you only can use a certain few and deal with most things through combat. Thus what could be a great physics trap strategy game becomes an 80% awful experience. 80 hours played and 80% of that was trying to get to the good bits. Honestly not worth the time or effort. Get it for $2 or preferably free, set it on easy and play with the traps, you will have fun. The other 80% is awful.

The game is pretty fun, not many hours in it, but I wouldnt recommend it. Somehow, despite the game being out for so very long, my friend AND I both face so many crashes. Idk whats wrong with this game. But I wouldnt recommend it to anyone.

this game is hella janky and broken af, especially coop
buggy as shit and I still do love this game. It is harder than the third one (which was my first game of this franchise) and I like that. The AI sucks a bit and somehow the enemies are walking on barricades and when you place some guardians behind it they can reach them. Oh and everyone does AOE dmg so you can't even take dmg next to your barricades or else they break it faster and you are done pretty fast as well.
I love this franchise, however I would not recommend this one.
I got this for my wife she says, it's a fun simple, not to intense game with action. This game has cool little traps and unlimited ammo, If you like the first one you'll love this one.
If you partake in the pleasurable past time of slaying orcs then this game is for you!
The slaying of these orcs tickles me brain the right way as it had in the first game

The best Orcs game
Fun game in coop. A lot of missions and mode. DLC are ok. Most of missions of OMD are in this one as classic mode.
A few bugs here and there, with crashes happening at random occasions.
Little inconveniences and lack of QoL features never allowed a smooth experience throughout the journey.
After beating the game and experiencing most of its contents, there was this one achievement left that was too grindy, leaving a pretty bad experience at the end.
Expected much more from a sequel, but it was overall pretty disappointing.
Don't usually post reviews but here goes. I like the game. I played orcs must die 3 first then figured since i like that game that i would give this one a try. They are very similar games so if you like one then you would like the other. Its a fun game.
However, this game keeps crashing when I play co-op. Sometimes we get to round 4 sometimes we finish the round but the game crashes and does not save. It seams that on modern hardware, this game does not work right. I am very dissapointed because I was able to slog my way through half the game before it crashed on the same level every time.

The game balance is centred around co-op.
It's not hard, but just tedious because maps are made based on having 2 players.
Game was simply not fun alone.
I wouldn't recommend playing alone.
The developers should be clear about that in the store page.
For me this was a classic fun Steam game experience, enjoyable and exciting with a good build-up of difficulty and armaments, not too ambitious in scope or narrative or anything but still a good time and worth playing.

THIS GAME WAS HONESTLY ONE OF THE WORST GAMES I HAVE EVER TAKEN TIME OUT OF MY DAY TO PLAY. THE GAME RANDOMLY EITHER CRASHES OR DISCONNECTS ME FROM THE SERVER.
