My favorite Orcs Must Die! Game. I love the mix of action, strategy, and tower defense. The difficulty is just right - it feels easy, until its not and starts to make you sweat and panic. A perfect game to play on a night in with a friend. This game is worth the full $14.99 price tag, but it's regularly on sale for less than $4. At that price, absolutely pick it up.

Playing this coop is fun and trying to coordinate your traps and weapons for each level can be challenging.

Everything that worked in the first part is even better now!

Honestly, it's just not fun when TD mobs can break your barriers.

Awful, simply awful. Play Dungeon Defenders 1 instead of this trash.

Bought it to play with my GF, but co-op doesn't work and the devs don't care enough to fix it... it's been over 12 years since the game came out and it still has connection issues.

Game is broken for me after i tried to change the resolution, even doing that was a nightmare. Ill sadly be refunded it, which is a shame because i loved it on the 360. Thankfully Death Trap comes out soon.

This game was my child hood

My wife and I were huge fans of the OMD3, finished 100%, excited about the 4th one and we thought to buy the second game while waiting for it.

The technical state of the game is just terrible. We are playing on 2 computer at home on a local network and can't finish a match without a disconnect or crash. I'm afraid we'd have to stop playing it at this point, it's incredibly frustrating.

more like a expansion for the first game still when you unlock paladins you only field paladins and keep winning.

I was pretty lukewarm with OMD1

but OMD2 is a huge upgrade, it was kinda addicting, if OMD3 didn't exist I think I would still try and grind this game

there's a weird bug with the game, I almost refunded it
if you're using a non-english keyboard, change it to US keyboard before starting the game
hotkey for keyboard setting in Win10 is alt + shift, idk in Win11

Fun game, characters aren't insufferable and don't talk much compared to 3. Buy this, skip 3.

I know its kinda boring but in the first game I liked using barricades to funnel the enemies to one side so i didn't have to spread out so much. I hate the bombers because they make barricades pointless in this game, plus they already cost heaps and don't respawn after a wave so its just wasting money now. i still recommend this game and coop is good but man the bombers seriously added nothing other than a annoyance for me and my strategies from 1. if you play solo I mainly recommend the first for its more campy feel, but the trap upgrading is def better here.

The first one seemed more polished but this isn't bad either. Don't overplay yourself on the unlocks tho.

Last level is hard AF

Lots of orcs, and it's fun to slaughter them.

Lots of levels, but many are designed around co-op. Single-player can be a frustrating experience as you have to cover all paths.

Lots of weapons and traps, but you have to grind enough skulls to fully unlock them. Progression is not shared between the two characters (War Mage and Sorceress).

I LOVED this game as a kid and proper sequel not being made (3 doesn't exist to me) is a tragedy. A super arcady feeling game to me. I wish I could rexperience for the first time.

This game is both an improvement and downgrade of the first game. And here are why:

Improvement:

+More traps to play with
+More levels to play including classic and endless
+2 characters to play as
+New weapons to experiment with

Downgrade:

+Weapons do not feel good to use. Ex: Crossbow can no longer headshot constantly like the first game even when I already aimed at my enemy's head

+Un-upgraded traps suck. I can kill more enemies by farting in their directions than waiting for the trap to actually kill them. DoT traps are fine but active traps? Nope.

+Annoying enemies: OK I get it, the game need to be challenging in order to keep player interesting but how do you F up by introducing succidal enemies early in the game? Oh and with the exit no longer heal you, good luck staying alive with those annoying gremblins charge at you and detonate their explosive, destroying barcade and killing you in the process. And don't get me started with the Orge.

Overall, OMD2 is an OK game but oh boy did the game sometimes makes me want to tear shorts and eat it Bart Simpson 's style.

No melee :(

Like there are melee weapons and all but if you get hit a single time you don't get the full reward. And well melee being melee you will get hit~
Otherwise great coop game.
