This game is not good, should support controllers that would be a plus
The only reason to buy this game at -90% discount is the possibility to get your money back in case of foil card drop.
Otherwise, you get a game with bad controls, it's a pity there are no achievements to see how many people have completed the game.
GOOD
I am 32 years old.
My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old.
When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing.
Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side.
With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay.
After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like.
Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends.
Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together.
Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that.
Thank you.
For a punishing platformer the controls are nowhere near tight enough and, (the crows in particular) add way too much of a random factor to the game. To many times I have died because I make a dedicated jump but a crow shows up at the wrong place at the wrong time. You do not add such a powerful random factor to a skill base game. Otherwise you game just becomes a game of random chance and bulls***.

let me start with the good things: the price, it's ok for what if offers, the relaxing music, and that all
bad things: hitxboxes, some hitboxes are really messed up, and kill you without you touching stuff.
2nd: the f***** birds, i don't know why the birds, it's just f***** annoying, i mean, sometimes you have to jump over an obstacle, or you have to avoid a guy while waiting for acid to give you room to pass, but the birds make it impossible, you jump over the enemy, and there's a bird coming at ful speed towards the spot where you will land (take in account you have little movement options in the air), so, you die. it happens ALL THE TIME, i died ~150times, and more than 100 were because of the birds, i know oyu have the immortality, but if you need immortality to get past the game, then the game is bad.
3d bad thing: those things that trow green stuff, there guys are a*******, i'm landing in a platform because i had to jump in order to avoid the birds, but as soon as i land, the things snipe me.
4th. immortality. that's bad because you need to die like 30 times to get 5secs of immortality, you can die like 90 and just spam, if celeste(gud game) was like that, i would died 80% more, but dying in celeste is good because you improve, because you die because of yourself, and not because of some s****** RNG of enemies that appear from the right who don't even have a pattern (unlike celeste's snowballs) and also, celeste has good hitboxes. anyways, spending 3h in a single screen in celeste (let's say farewell of a c side) is more enjoyable than a single 20 sec long level in this game, because when you die is not because you did something wrong, is because the game made you lose. and that. is bad. i made a game in scratch when i was 10, and had better hitboxes.
honor mention: music, althought i'm used to hear a single song in loop for 6h (farewell last screen) this music seems kind of weird in this game, it doesn't fit the athmosphere, or the enemies, or the backround, weird, i just put some B-side soundtrack while playing the game, that made it more enjoyable... anyways, i don't ask for a refund because the game has potential, and the money can be helpful to the dev, and hopefully get the birds removed, and improve the hitboxes, hopefully....
Another random frustrating Unity game where all you do is move, jump and die.
People are hating on this game pretty hard considering its on sale for $0.68 right now I'd still say its worth the price. I had some fun playing it and I don't regret the purchase whatsoever.
For what its worth I'd say you pay for what you get. It feels like the game was originally made for mobile but it somehow ended up on steam. I understand what people are saying with regards to dying a TON and sometimes it feels like the only way to pass a level is to get lucky, but with that being said the feeling of satisfaction is pretty dang awesome when you finally do beat a level you've been stuck on.
This game is featured in a recent video of mine, check it out if you'd like...

I really wanted to like it but there are just a few elements that bother me that I can't get past.
It's completely fine that you have to die a lot to figure out how to get through a level. Everything that can kill you is quick and thereby you have to be quick to avoid them and it's trial and error. But if you have to die a lot, why is there a death counter? It's bad enough knowing you keep dying but seeing the number feels like it's shaming you for your incompetence. It really irks me and just makes me want to quit tbh.
There's no story or element of world building at all in the game. Your character is a cute little grim reaper type being but for some reason, when you die you explode in an ungodly cloud of blood. It's just an odd choice. I want more of a narrative with my games, whether they are simple or not.
I don't have any issues with the graphics overall. The controls are simple. It's a fine game and I probably would complete it if it weren't so frustrating how often you die and have a death counter to remind you of that fact. For the price, it wasn't a major loss or anything. I'd give it 5/10 for what it is.
The visuals and animations are nice. The gameplay is I wouldn't say hard, but it seems the controls are a bit sluggish. The ugly part of this game is that the only options for the game are at the start. Changing from windowed to full screen, animation quality and resolution. They're no options at all for anything else like insanely loud music, so headphone users beware. I haven't gotten far but so far the levels are simple and clean. I'm gonna give this game a yes in the hopes they update it in some way because right now its a meh.
I didnt see controller support anywhere for this game ... its okay I probably wouldnt have got it if I knew I had to lean over and use keyboard , graphics look nice and decent nothing amazing but suffice and game play is slightly addictive all up a solid 7/10 , but I wish the devs would make it so I can use my xbox controller but hey for the price its playable and decent.
