this game.. it aged.. poorly
at first i didnt like it until i was 3 hours in the game
I now LOVE this game 10/10 would buy again
I refunded this after about 25 minutes of gameplay. The game itself was pretty fun and I didn't even mind the character vocalising after literally every action but the poor controller support for a game listed as "full controller support" killed it for me. The game knows when you're using a controller rather than KB&M but there are no seperate icons for the interface so navigating menus is difficult and I accidently skipped several tutorials. The default setup for the controller is awful and if I didn't have the option to remap the controls via Steam Controller I would have refunded it even faster.
Pros
* Crafting of weapons,items,and parts for your ship.
* A ship that you can move independently while controlling your character. Great mechanic for a sandbox game.
* Has a creative mode where you can make your own adventures.
Cons
* No multiplayer (The PS vita version had some type of multiplayer, why not this version.)
* Easy difficulty (Wish there was harder difficulty options available.)
* One save file for story mode. (They should of gave at lest 3-5 just in case your the type that likes multiple save files or have someone that wants to try the game as well.)
At its current state i give it a 6 out of 10. I like the game a lot and it has a nice charm to it but i feel that they could of added a lot more.

Note: I imported the Japanese version, Airship Q, and played it that way. I take the PC options into account in my review.
Wondership Q, formerly known as Airship Q, is a Japanese take on the 2D Building/Survival genre. While it has its moments, the game's lack of options and horrible sound effects hold it back from greatness. Its simple gameplay can be fun, but may grow repetitive.
Pros:
Cute graphics.
Airship gameplay is fun.
Story mode is enjoyable.
Cons:
No options, unexcusable for a PC game in 2016.
Horrible sound effects that you cannot turn off.
Gameplay can grow repetitive quickly.
Verdict: Wait for a sale or a patch, because right now it is not worth $10. I would perhaps recommend it at a lower price for fans of the genre, at least as a simple time-waster.

SWISH! SWISH! FIGHT! CRAFTING IS FUN!
So me and my buddy are big fans of Terraria, and Wondership Q caught my attention a few days ago. I decided to stream it to him this morning as I tried the game out, and almost immediately we rolled in laughter at how basically every action of the cute little protagonist cat is voiced. It's nonstop, seriously. I really wish they had displayed this in the videos, because it seems there's no way to turn it off and I'd probably have a much more enjoyable experience after the laughter subsides.
Anyway, the game is as about as cute as you'd expect with some fairly pleasant, simple music. The building elements seem like they can go pretty far but the game's awkward with a keyboard and with very limited re-mapping, for those of you wondering. I really like how you can control your ship independently of your character, I was surprised. There needs to be a fair amount of quality of life improvements though before I'll really invest more time in.
Pros:
Adorable world.
Very smooth animations with nice sprites.
Controlling your ship and character independently offers an interesting gameplay mechanism.
Cons:
Voicework, if only because it just repeats far, far too often with no option to disable.
Very limited re-mapping if you intend to play with a keyboard.
Hard to mine a specific block sometimes; there's not just a range to be able to mine, at least not early on as far as I can tell. It's only what's directly next to you.
I'm going to recommend it mostly because I think the target audience will enjoy this, and it's fairly priced. If you're interested at all, watch some videos, know you're going to hear the voicework a -ton-, and if you don't like it there's always Steam's refund policy! 2 hours is more than enough to know if you'll enjoy Wondership Q.
Don't get me wrong, the game looks cute and fun and I was looking forward to this game but sadly the controls have been ignored it seems. Sure the game is a lot of fun but this is aimed at the keyboard controls which were badly crossed over.
- Cannot remap controls
- Cannot change the window-size of the game
Sadly I could not get far in the game because you cannot remap the controls. I have to move using the W,A,S,D keys but also the keybar controls 1-9 on your keyboard and your 4 other options are x,c,v,z making it a horrible control layout! It is all squished to the left side of your keyboard and you cannot change this.
Only controls you can change are x,c,v, & z but they so far ar minor as they are merely inventory. Even if I remapped these it was still not fun to move around because other buttons you cannot change are too close to the move buttons and these buttons are your actions.
It is like the developers thought we only have one hand.
At least let us move with our arrow keys and not have all the controls on one side of the keyboard, that is just weird and uncomfortable.
Unless you have a normal PC, you won't see the whole screen because it is bigger than your average laptop screen-size and you cannot change this!
I hope this is patched in but until then I am getting a refund :/ sorry, cute style or not it is unplayable with controls like that. It is something that should not have to be addressed these days and should be common sense for PC games.
Port or not, the keyboard controls should not have been ignored nor expect everyone to have & use a controller.
