- The articulated bus MAN NG272 with the exact physical and visual recreation of the joint kinematics as well as corresponding sounds and systems (bending protection).
- The MAN NL202 as well as reworked and added models of the known types SD200 and SD202 (more years of production, emergency door openers, destination boards, sound variations depending on vehicle number).
- The Spandau omnibus line 5 from the subway station Ruhleben to the psychiatric clinic Spandau covering a total distance of 12 km, several new buildings, a squeezed timetable and a tight 5 minute rhythm with various bus termini and assignments for diverse and long lasting driving pleasure.
- Replication of original timetables and tour plans for omnibus lines 5 and 92.
- Chronology function: Relive the change taking place in Spandau between 1986 and 1994! OMSI 2 now replicates the exciting years following the German reunification and all the innovations and route expansions (line 137 to Falkensee) that came along with it. This function also allows temporary changes to maps or routes caused by construction sites or special buses.
- Advanced and improved AI traffic (better road- and steering behaviour, railway- and subway traffic)
- System damage model including different malfunctions which take time to fix
- OMSI 2 supports a world coordinate system so it is possible to import a DEM (Digital Elevation Model) with the help of a DLL you can even program yourself.

LOOK!!! If you are a car and bus lover/enthusiast, there are no questions asked just buy the SIM and dive in lots of "some" good DLC's and a major veriaty of mods such as busses, maps, assets and many more.
Yes the sim is old and it has its quirks, not good optimazition and some crashes when map isn't loaded correctly because of a missing file (more on MODS).
But otherwise while the sim works it's just fun and I do recommend new players to try it out :D

An absolutely dreadful "bus simulator" SAVED (mostly) by the fantastic Mod developers who've taken charge of a game that would have died a death years ago!
No idea who these two brothers are that developed the original game/simulator and then had a falling out (apparently) but, their petty behaviour continues and is ultimately what's holding this bus simulator back from being the truly fantastic 'drive' it could be!

This game is not what I expected everytime i loaded it up it crashed when i was loading into a map i had a look at my graphics settings and it didnt resolve it I wouldnt reccomend it

If your a transit fan from canada or the us, This game is perfect for you. I have not encountered any bugs yet and my pc runs really well while im playing. 100% worth the 44 bucks.
This game may be hard, but once you get to learn the basics it is really fun, not to mention it has some great routes in the London Add-On

Any game which does not recognise and cater for a controller AUTOMATICALLY should not be on the market nowadays!
The tutorial was a joke with so much up front information that was irrelevant for getting started I think I actually fell asleep!
This is NO 'Truck Simulator' quality game! Waste of money.

Very good game with a stellar mod community. Every one know the graphics aren't 5 stars, but in my opinion it's the experience, the buses, the world, physics, the fun factor. SO, don't let the graphics put you off.

Realistic game!
Would you like to drive a bus? Look no further!!!! GET IT
After 2,500 hours, I feel this is something I should've done by now. OMSI 2 is still the only bus simulator, with similar games leaning towards the arcade end of a sim. The base game is a good start for players but this game still has regular DLC release albeit of varying quality, as well as an active modding community for both EU and UK players.
This game should not be judged solely on first looks and/or experiences. Yes, the graphics aren't great and it's not the most stable of games but OMSI 2 is nearing 12 years old, these things should be expected, especially since the developers have long since moved on to other projects. Have at least some patience and you'll be rewarded with enjoyable driving experiences.

I've recently bought this game this Monday and it was totally worth it!
Despite the bad reviews from this game, I think OMSI 2 would be worth it if you have the right components for it.
I'd highly recommend this game to a bus enthusiast who has a compatible device for it!
The design, maps and buses are all nice not gonna lie.
You can customise the controls whatever way you want them to be!
There is a range of settings you can choose to customise for the best experience with OMSI 2!
But there are some downsides to OMSI 2
The game can sometimes lag out and can drastically drop your framerate. This is because OMSI 2 is a 32-bit game and only 2GB of RAM is used for the game to function. Luckily there is a solution to that which is by using a 4GB patch.
AI vehicles are quite stubborn on some maps. It's both frustrating and somehow... realistic....
Very few parts of the game is in German. Although if you go to settings you'll notice that the game is in English when 90% of it is. Some errors are completely in German and you may need Google Translate in order to know what they mean.
Maps with a lot of textures take a LONG of time to load. There's no solution to it unfortunately.
OMSI 2 isn't as straight-forward as you think it would be. I found it quite difficult to do various things with OMSI 2 such as installing maps and buses on my first couple of days. But it takes time to get used to the basics of OMSI 2.
Apart from that, I'd honestly rate OMSI 2 a 9/10!

Very unstable and difficult to install maps for, game spends more time crashing than anything else. And when i finally manage to install something it doesnt work anyway, yt videos made this look appealling to me but i can safely say i wouldve been happier keeping my £24.99
