- The articulated bus MAN NG272 with the exact physical and visual recreation of the joint kinematics as well as corresponding sounds and systems (bending protection).
- The MAN NL202 as well as reworked and added models of the known types SD200 and SD202 (more years of production, emergency door openers, destination boards, sound variations depending on vehicle number).
- The Spandau omnibus line 5 from the subway station Ruhleben to the psychiatric clinic Spandau covering a total distance of 12 km, several new buildings, a squeezed timetable and a tight 5 minute rhythm with various bus termini and assignments for diverse and long lasting driving pleasure.
- Replication of original timetables and tour plans for omnibus lines 5 and 92.
- Chronology function: Relive the change taking place in Spandau between 1986 and 1994! OMSI 2 now replicates the exciting years following the German reunification and all the innovations and route expansions (line 137 to Falkensee) that came along with it. This function also allows temporary changes to maps or routes caused by construction sites or special buses.
- Advanced and improved AI traffic (better road- and steering behaviour, railway- and subway traffic)
- System damage model including different malfunctions which take time to fix
- OMSI 2 supports a world coordinate system so it is possible to import a DEM (Digital Elevation Model) with the help of a DLL you can even program yourself.

While it is a very laggy and unstable, despite its age, the buses' physics are like no other. Being an old game, it has developed a very big community. You can download both paid and free buses, maps, etc. If only they made a 64-bit version of it...

i really wanted to drive egged israeli company becuase i saw many videos about mods in omsi 2 of people driving in egged with the eyal gelberg announcement like bus stops route number but sadly my logitech g29 dont work on that i see it says g29 connected but when i spin the wheel while i drive it wont spin for some reason and pedals wont let me gas and brake and shift too i tried everything to fix it youtube tuts and didnt help me

If you’re looking for a top-tier bus simulator, OMSI Bus Simulator 2 remains the gold standard—even in 2024. However, a word of caution: this isn’t a game for those seeking instant gratification. If you don’t have the time or patience to fine-tune your settings and learn the detailed controls, this might not be the right fit for you. This is not a arcade styled game - similar to other popular games on the market today (Bus Simulator 24, American Truck)
But if you’re someone who loves buses and craves a truly immersive, realistic experience with authentic physics and controls, OMSI 2 is nothing short of fantastic.
For me, this game has been one of the most relaxing and meditative experiences out there. Sitting behind my Xbox G920 wheel and pedals, I can spend hours cruising through meticulously crafted virtual cities, letting the world melt away as I drive my simulated bus.
These days, with a full-fledged career and an engagement keeping me busy, I don’t have as much time to dive into the game as I used to. But OMSI 2 holds a special place in my heart—it’s the kind of game I hope to come back to someday, ready to lose myself in its charm once again.

LOOK!!! If you are a car and bus lover/enthusiast, there are no questions asked just buy the SIM and dive in lots of "some" good DLC's and a major veriaty of mods such as busses, maps, assets and many more.
Yes the sim is old and it has its quirks, not good optimazition and some crashes when map isn't loaded correctly because of a missing file (more on MODS).
But otherwise while the sim works it's just fun and I do recommend new players to try it out :D

An absolutely dreadful "bus simulator" SAVED (mostly) by the fantastic Mod developers who've taken charge of a game that would have died a death years ago!
No idea who these two brothers are that developed the original game/simulator and then had a falling out (apparently) but, their petty behaviour continues and is ultimately what's holding this bus simulator back from being the truly fantastic 'drive' it could be!

This game is not what I expected everytime i loaded it up it crashed when i was loading into a map i had a look at my graphics settings and it didnt resolve it I wouldnt reccomend it
Good game, lot of fun!
If your a transit fan from canada or the us, This game is perfect for you. I have not encountered any bugs yet and my pc runs really well while im playing. 100% worth the 44 bucks.
This game may be hard, but once you get to learn the basics it is really fun, not to mention it has some great routes in the London Add-On
