Об игре
The Bus это новое поколение симуляторов вождения городского автобуса, действие которого происходит в столице Германии, Берлине в реалистичном масштабе 1:1. Перевозите пассажиров на разных автобусных маршрутах по городу разными автобусами. Управляйте своим автопарком и объединяйтесь с другими водителями онлайн.
Этот список будет обновляться вместе с ранним доступом.

once we get more mods like maps and buses (uk ones for my tastes) then this will be the best bus sim since Omsi 2.
I do still prefer Omsi currently though as the bus driving physics are just spot on, so good that i look past omsi`s dated graphics.
but with some tlc from the devs this bus sim is there graphicly....a few touches to the handling and it will be the best bus sim currently imho.
also works great with my wheel setup and tobii eye tracker
(i turn off eye tracking though and just use it as a way to headtrack without those 3 point trackers blu tacked to my head)
The Bus had great potential when it was first announced, but after three years, it remains poorly optimized and plagued by lag issues. Despite the intriguing concept of a realistic bus simulation, the technical shortcomings overshadow the gameplay experience. Frequent stuttering and frame drops make it frustrating to play, detracting from what could have been an immersive journey. It's disappointing to see such promise go unfulfilled, leaving players hoping for improvements that seem to be taking far too long.
It's a good game, Didn't take too long to realize that. Though I would personally advise you to wait for a discount, the game simply just isn't worth 35 euro at this point of time. Overall if you really want the game, get the game but know that as of Q4 2024 Bus Simulator 21 is still the better alternative due to more buses and a far more finished expirience. For the goods I will say, the 1:1 scale map of Berlin, and far higher quality bus models. 7/10, would be higher if there was more value for your buck.
Extremely Realistic graphics and very calming to play. One of the best Bus Simulators out there alongside Fernbus ( also made by the same dev)

very poorly optimized. sometimes locks up with zero warning, difficult to close when that happens. i turned down the graphics settings, doesnt seem to help. i gave it plenty of chances and i had to give up.

There are a lot of bugs in the game that are terribly annoying. A new update is coming, they will fix two bugs, and in exchange another 10 will come. It has been early access for 3 years, but there is very little content, and now this new Lumen update has caused a lot of new graphics bugs and FPS problems. I see great potential in the game and I hope the development team manages to get something good out of it as soon as possible.
Unfortunately, it's my first negative review on anything, because:
- there is no traffic rules (and, of course, no penalty system; you can do whatever you want: no consequences in game; so, except graphic, it's nothing like in real life!) ;
- there is no collision on pedestrians;
- there is no damage on collision with other vehicles;
- parked vehicles have only static collision;
- very few AI and pedestrians (even if you'll set them at maximum!);
- AI traffic behavior it's also unrealistic (they don't know how to overtake, no breaking rules, and, as I said, there is no damages in case of collision etc);
- you'll drive almost only on empty streets and those very few pedestrians cross the street only on traffic lights;
- after almost 4 years, still no AI: buses, trams, motorcycles, bicycles, emergency vehicles etc;
- after last update, 2,5, game become very lagging and PC resource eater;
- potholes in roads are only for visual effect;
- rain on windshield it's very unrealistic (despite of a great weather view from outside the bus);
- no gps inside the bus (only as UI; deactivate UI, you'll drive without any clue);
- the speed to turn your head around it's totally unrealistic;
- and, unfortunately, many others issues...
As I said before, in any vehicle (bus, car, truck etc) simulator, the most important things (to create more realism!) it's:
- traffic rules and penalty system;
- AI traffic and pedestrians behavior and density (like in real life);
- pedestrian collision and crossing the street in unmarked places etc.
Too bad, because the game had (and still have!) a great potential, but, if after 4 years, they still didn't implemented at least those few things (mentioned above) necessary of any vehicle simulator, I doubt it that in the next 4 years they'll fix it! But, it's only my opinion! Today, when I saw "Major Update in 2.5", I've had some hopes, but... again I'll reinstall the game, because, at least for me, it's not worth it the time to play it! It's totally unrealistic!
But, if you just want to drive from point A to point B, only to load and unload passengers, and you don't care about anything (traffic rules and penalties, AI traffic and pedestrians behavior and density etc), than, this game it's for you!
Otherwise, I DON'T RECOMMEND IT! There are other vehicle simulators way much better and cheaper than this one!

Game is extremely bad! Graphics is nice but even on low graphics the game runs extremely poor there's constant lag and sometimes freezing witch causes crashing and is just plain horrible! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

The bus engine sounds by TML is not the best so get sound mods from workshop!!

fun bus game, the balance between learning curve and fun are perfect. Good fun for the money. I do miss some sort of review after the route ends to see how well i did and what went wrong. there are currently no consequenses for speeding or driving like and insane.
Game has been really laggy after 2.5 update . Not a good experience tbh . Also numbers,letters and textures of stuff and shadows are blurry after this update . The game was perfect before this update but now its so fucking bad . Unplayable .

We know it's the start, some bugs here and there, but the game works very well totally.
Very laggy and unstable. Could not get a refund because the Game was stuck and i could not do anything... so it was a more than 2 hours...
Good game, played it myself at the Innotrans Berlin 2024 with steering wheel and all. Turned out to be a real game, immediately put it in me wishlist. Bought this game last week, and am very satisfied. Few things could be better but for an early access I did not expect anything else.
The graphics are good, the AI cars are generally responsive. Find the map very well made 1:1, I've been to Berlin 3 times myself and definitely recognize points and can say it looks like it. Keep up the good work and this game comes highly recommended!

This game is very NICE!
I've had the game for a few years now and it's been interesting to see how it has evolved. The Bus is a game that offers a highly realistic bus driving experience set in a detailed recreation of Berlin. The game features impressive graphics, with dynamic weather and a day-night cycle that bring the city to life.
The driving physics feel authentic, with buses behaving according to their weight and size, especially in difficult weather conditions. Although the bus selection is limited, each model has it's own unique feel to it.
Routes are based on real-life Berlin lines, providing a balanced mix of driving challenges and time management. Overall, it's a solid simulator with room to grow. I'm looking forward to seeing the development of this game.

Unplayable mess
I only can recommend this game to those who are looking for a beautiful bus sim game but as long as its on a discount. Its been 3 years and theres only 1 new bus been added a good few months ago. Its just had another 8gb update that added shit all to it.
drive bus = fun
Great and pretty realistic bus sim.
This is a pretty good bus simulator. Map is pretty realistic and true to life as its based around the capital of Berlin, Germany. There are 5 routes around Berlin you can do and most took a little bit to do, but since its in early access hope more routes will be added soon. The bus models ranging from Scania, Man and Mercedes Benz, etc are pretty well done also.
You can either choose to control the buses arcade style with minimal effort or you can choose like me to do realistic style. Most of the switches and buttons are interactable either through zooming in and clicking or like myself who has a button box with actual physical toggle switches and a wheel, you can do it this way as well & it works seamlessly.
Eye and head tracking with my Tobii eye tracker 5 is a welcome and game changing addition for this as well.
Enjoying it so far, and hope there is more features and additions to come!
The game runs as you would expect, there are less bugs now than before and if you have a PC that can handle the graphic power this game can give then you will enjoy it.
To say it's been put for about 3 years, it still has an awfully unfinished feel to it.

It's a good city bus driving sim. Berlin looks very realistic and the buses are well modeled. "The Bus" is still in development progress and gradually updated.

A lot roads and views 10/10 graphics, real life weather system, hard core mode witch allow's you to use all the busses button functions....... alll i know its a lot of fun anyways keep it G lets ride..........
