STORY MODE
Вы – измученная душа, томящаяся в глубинах ада и не сохранившая воспоминаний о своем прошлом.

РЕЖИМ "АГОНИИ":
В игре есть как режим истории, так и открытая система испытаний, случайным образом генерирующая уровни для игроков, которым предстоит исследовать среду и выживать в ней, устанавливая новые рекорды. Эта игра не только числится в многочисленных списках "Самых ожидаемых хорроров 2018 года", но и, собрав финансирование на Кикстартере, готовится бросить игрокам вызов своим недружелюбным и жестоким окружением.

Never saw a game gave the unrated version and took back for money
game is ok
The developers took the unrated version of the game out of players libraries & now are selling it separately.
Do not support developers that do such a scummy move !
What a bad joke, shame on these clowns !
I was really anticipating this game. I know better than to create false expectations but not very often does a game come out with this kind of theme for fans of horror art. I wasn't expecting much in gameplay, I really just wanted to walk around a horrific environment and enjoy the art. I have yet to be able to do that with 2.5hrs of gameplay due to bugs , voice acting, changes in the game and an overall lack of interest at this point. I think I will give it one last try, maybe tonight, and possibly edit this post after doing so. A lot of "if's". At this point though I can't recommend it, I... just... can't (Oh the agony)
The name really captures the essence of the game.
Had a great time with this. I did come across a few bugs, so don't expect it to be perfect, but I didn't experience anything particularly game breaking. The story is laid out through notes you find which I guess are written by your character? It's not clear. Expect them to be offensive, they're written by someone who's in Hell for a reason. I played the game with all settings at ultra and had no frame drops that other people are claiming. No janky movements, no large hitboxes. It's just not AAA polished. Not a big deal.
My progression got stuck once in a while as the way forward is sometimes unclear, but I mostly didn't mind because I enjoyed the environments so much. I got through the game without any maps or looking anything up. I do suggest setting your Fate Lines to unlimited, which is like Dead Space's locator system.
The lush hellish environments and atmosphere are where the game really shines and makes it worth playing. There's so much detail it's hard to not get distracted and killed taking it all in. There were so many moments when I would just stop to slowly look around, especially in outside environments, and seeing the clouds, tornadoes, and giant monsters in the far off distance. I live streamed this game and could not stop gushing about the world I was seeing. I loved it so much.
If you're a fan of surreal apocalyptic worlds, black metal, Event Horizon, you really need to play this.

Wonderful art direction, but lacking in core gameplay. Visuals alone can't make this enjoyable for me.
Demon bewbs and vegene
game is good,but when i was in hell i asked some dude what he's doing then he took infants and piled stones on them
Imagine releasing the most interesting Announcement trailer 6 years ago, thinking, "wow! this looks amazing, a disgusting look into hell that hasn't been seen much in gaming!" and then finally playing it upon release and getting.... this.
The only Agony is the thought of other people actually enjoying this game. Titties in your games does not excuse horrible game design, and honestly false advertisement. Madmind Studios, how do you develop a game for nearly so long for it to release a horrible mess, i truly do not understand how you guys did it, truly. And then they have the gall to release 20+ more games in the "Agony" Series, still same engine, still same bugs. Just demon boobs and your money, please.
Screw Agony, Screw this game studio and it's unfulfilled promises, and screw the first religion to come up with the idea of Hell, as if so, the world would be without Madmind Studio's "Agony".
Why does the game crash when I start?
It's perfectly fitting that a game about Hell is so miserable to play.
First off, the good. The graphics are great, and you can tell they care about theme and atmosphere. The world, art, and style are all in a class of its own. I'm hesitant to call anything so ugly beautiful, but they did a great job committing to the theme through the art. Sadly, this only makes the rest of the experience so frustrating.
Everything else is notably weak, and seemingly a bit amateur. Level design is god awful. The in game map is poor and inaccurate, often indicating ways forward that aren't there. I've had to reload over a dozen times in some maps because I've become stuck on invisible parts while trying to find the way forward. Stealth mechanics don't work half the time, and seem mostly pointless as the demons are always in the way, never move, and don't have any paths or other mechanics to help you avoid them. The key bind situation is problematic at best - there are frequent issues with the game displaying incorrect rebinds, ignoring rebinds, and still preferring its own controls. The DLC situation is a major problem that I won't even get into, but please do your research.
Story is comically bad- I'm looking around at blood and tits and avoiding demons to...do what now? Find some lady in red? Is this a bad 80's song? I'm sure the other games modes could have something redeeming, but given how lame the main game is I can't be bothered to even investigate.
It's clear they wanted to make some edgy hell game with tits, but even the 16 year old boys this was designed for should be pissed and disappointed. Avoid this at all costs, even the strong thematic elements don't save this title from poor design and frustrating game play. I'd be requesting a refund if I wasn't over play time.
