One of my favourite NFS games, it is insanely fun to play and gets the adrenaline pumping. This game strayed away from the tuner/customisation type games that were made famous in games like NFS Underground and Most Wanted; and instead returns to its roots and its namesake, "Hot Pursuit". You can play as both the racer and the cop, and despite spending most of the game driving pristine super cars, the game encourages you to drive dirty and gritty. The gameplay is thrilling and gripping, and as an arcade style racer, finds a great balance between realism and fun. It is reminiscent of both NFS Hot Pursuit 2, as well as the old Burnout games. This game is different from every NFS game that came before it, and every game that has released since. It serves as a compelling alternative style to the "tuner" style games, as well as the realistic simulator type games.
I bought this game back in 2010 for the Xbox 360, playing countless hours, and was astounded at the graphical fidelity. 14 years later, even without owning the "remastered" version, the graphics still look pretty good. I don't think I can rightly say its a perfect game, but this game will always hold a place in my heart as one of my favourite racing games to have ever played.

This has always been the one of the best NFS game's for me. Hour's of entertainment beating down and arresting your friend's. Control is a little tighter then the last NFS. I like that. I love the chase aspect of this game. Until this came out no one else had done that.

An absolute classic and one of the best need for speeds hands down. Coming from a veteran of MW2005, underground, and carbon, when this came out in 2010 I was HYPED and played it all the way through on PS3. Everything about this game from the vehicle selection with TONS of variety especially on the police side with so many different liveries and vehicles, an amazing open world, GOATED Music, and endless high octane action. This game got me through so much and was an absolute classic. Whilst people playing today may not have the nostalgia I do, I believe you will still have a great time with this as in my opinion it was one of the last truly good NFS games!
