Operating directly under the National Command Authority, a relatively unknown entity of handpicked warriors are selected when it is crucial that a mission must not fail. They are the Tier 1 Operators. There are over 2 million active soldiers. Of those, approximately 50 thousand fall under the direct control of the Special Operations Command. The Tier 1 Operator functions on a level above and beyond even the most highly trained Special Operations Forces. Their exact numbers, while classified, hover in the low hundreds. They are living, breathing, precision instruments of war. They are experts in the application of violence. The new Medal of Honor™ is inspired by and developed with actual Tier 1 Operators from this elite community. Players step into the boots of these warriors and apply their unique skill sets to fight a new enemy in the most unforgiving and hostile conditions of present day Afghanistan.
This is a new war. There is a new warrior. He is Tier 1.
Fight Today's War: Elite Special Forces in a gritty combat campaign using the surgical tactics of Tier 1 Operators combined with the sledgehammer force of Army Rangers.
Unparalleled Authenticity: Intense story with incredible pacing and variety set in the rugged Afghanistan landscape, creating a shooter experience only available from the storied Medal of Honor franchise.

Medal of Honor is a fairly solid and barebone shooter but compared to golden-age CoD games, it tremendously pales in comparison. The story and setting takes itself quite seriously and is loosely based on actual events but there aren't really anything remarkable or memorable about it. All the main characters are generic army dudes, who fight against equally generic Taliban and Chechen soldiers. There aren't any Captain Price or super bad guys like Zekhaev or Makarov. A couple of interesting level designs here and there but they are held back by how incredibly linear the game is. The main protagonists that you play as can't even open doors or climb ledges on their own, you have to wait for the NPCs to do it for you. They might as well remove your WASD keys and move you from scene to scene like House of the Dead. Although with all that being said, I still had fun with the 4-hour-long campaign and would still recommend getting it on sale. For a game made in Unreal Engine 3, graphic still holds up really well. Gunplay is surprisingly good, the weapon sound is crisp and weighty. Headshot is very satisfying to land. There isn't a huge variety of weapons but most are viable and solid. Game is really easy tho. Even on the hardest difficulty, I barely broke a sweat.
Can we have Medal of Honor: Warfighter on Steam? please? PLEASE!? Like seriously.... Please! -.- >_> x_x
Love this game so much. For whatever reason, I enjoy this game more than COD xD
Metal of Honor 2010 Reboot: 9/10
This game was full of action and always kept me on my toes. 9/10 would reccomend. Only problem I have had was figuring out what I was supposed to do on some of the missions, but other than that, amazing game.
Crashes 3 hours in.
Really cool game . very good Campaign it's fun and also enjoyable ,so sad that there's no more medal of honor. ;(
This was an effort to reboot the series by Electronic Arts and try to compete with Activision's CoD series. It worked and sold 3.5 million copies in a fortnight; the follow-up title Warfighter was a commercial zombie though, prompting an EA earnings call in mid 2013. And that is pretty much all we've seen of the series in 13 years, bar a lone VR release in 2020.
And it is a shame because this is a very good FPS. The Campaign all revolves around a single mission over two days that goes wrong and leaves a SEAL team in need of rescue. You play various roles in the story, from one of the SEALS to a sniper, a spotter, a helicopter gunship pilot and other roles. Largely it is cover and move with standard infantry weapons, pistol, assault rifle, sniper rifle all with a variety of scopes. There are no perks, levels or upgrades; the game plumbs more for somewhere between realism and action and the graphics still look decent in a Battlefield: Bad Company way. You have to forgive some of the interpretations though, as you can get hit multiple times with RPGs or gunships and you don't die. From a fun game play standpoint that's a good thing. Too much realism will kill you every time.
Enemy AI is varied, they are hopelessly prone to being flanked and the game usually funnels you to a semi-open area where you can do this to pass through enemy camps. If you do not take cover in these situations and attack head on, you can get picked off pretty quickly out in the open. And yet at other times someone can stand right behind you and shoot you repeatedly with little damage and there are occasionally some glitches with people getting stuck falling through as pole.
The game largely runs on rails and pushes you from one designated area to another for a cut scenes. It is engaging and the graphics are good enough to make you feel immersed, that story plays out in a fairly meaningless manner until near the end which it delivers well.
You will need to switch between night vision and regular at various points throughout the game, but usually your buddies will direct you with audio, if you pay attention. They also warn of the direction of threat, grenades and where to push up two. If you do pay attention then these NPC buddies works well with you and you do feel part of a well oiled combat team.
The trouble is that Medal of Honor felt their route back to success was to emulate Call of Duty and they take the likeness too far. It is almost indistinguishable from CoD and EA found themselves unable to maintain the quality and annual iterations of that series. The main campaign here is short at 4-5 hours and whilst it is clearly intended as an advert for multiplayer, that died in 2023. Leaving it simply too short to justify anything like a full price purchase. If you can get it for the regular sale price of $3 to $4 then you'll enjoy yourself.
game doesnt load how do i fix problem
Biggest plot twist ever after BF3 fr fr.Recommend 100%
Aged terribly.
A solis FPS with a good storyline.
Honestly this has been a good game, loved the campaign ,great story loved the mechanics except for the constant dying from rpg's but that's just me.
After Call of Duty moved to modern times, it was the first game set in modern times by Medal of Honor. The subject they chose was good, it was about the operations of American Navy Seal commandos in Afghanistan and they wrote a good story. They were probably inspired by the true story in the Lone Survivor movie. Later, they finished the story very well with the sequel Moh Warfighter and it was a very good game.
Guess I downloaded wrong Modern Warfare.
2/10
2025 and is still more realistic and fun than the campaigns of the new COD or any other triple AAA games today.
I'd rather my operators be real SEALs and Delta Force than fortnite streamers and snoop dogg. Makes the campaign even more fun and realistic that I'm fighting AQ and Talibums.
One of the worst games in history. Trash, repetitive mechanics, toxic male warmonger ideology everywhere, yet another "US warcrimes simulator" from a company that has made some of the worst of them.
I completed the single player twice(cause I got a new laptop and wanted to complete it again on the highest settings). It's a decent single player experience but it's very short(6 hours). I enjoyed the missions and the story, they were more "realistic" compared to COD MW/BOPs series but it didn't make the game any better. The NPCs were kinda stoopid but the shooting was pretty fun. If you have 5-10$ then the single player might be worth trying out, I got it for about 3$ because of regional pricing and it wasn't a bad game for it's price. As far as I know the multiplayer is dead. Also it has peek mechanics if I remember correctly, I like games that allow you to peek.
I ran it on Linux and it worked fine with the Proton-GE layer. Overall a 6.5/10 for me, it's not an innovative game but it's a good grab during sales.
it's a classic old FPS game, but there is no more Medal of Honor after 2012, EA killed the series
aaa shooter of the era
A more grounded in real life shooter than the likes of COD. It's a shame this series died as it was a good change of pace from the craziness of Battlefield and COD. Remaster MOH: Frontline please!
Medal of Honor does a lot of things well and a few things not so well.
I first played this game in 2010 when it was first released. Back then, I remember having a fondness for the game. There were a great deal of "cool moments" and the narrative running throughout was simple but compelling. This fondness still holds up even 15 years later. There is a great deal of authenticity I have found in the game still to date.
However, comparing this game to other FPS experiences, it's lacking by today's standards. Move to cover, shoot. Move to cover, shoot some more. Get a bigger gun, blast the fortified structure. Wash, rinse, repeat.
Sometimes you get to put on night optics. Sometimes you get to shoot a sniper rifle. I wasn't able to manage more than 4 hours from the campaign front to back.
In short, it was nice to revisit old memories, but the experience was purely nostalgic, and may not be as fulfilling to someone looking to pick it up with fresh eyes.
Since I can't play multiplayer because there are no servers and I can't recover the password, for me this game is garbage!

🎯 Final Verdict
Medal of Honor remains a landmark title in the history of first-person shooters. Its realistic portrayal of World War II, solid gameplay mechanics, and immersive atmosphere make it an unforgettable experience for fans of the genre. Although it shows its age in some areas, it still holds up as a strong and influential game in the FPS landscape. Whether you’re a long-time fan of the franchise or a newcomer interested in WWII shooters, Medal of Honor is worth playing.
I have never played this game before. It took me back to those days when game-play wasn`t over-complicated. Good story, good fps.
Finished the campaign on hard in 5.1 hours...pretty short. Felt way too easy for a good portion of the campaign - bad guys are very slow to target you and it wasn't until the last hour or so that it felt decently challenging due to the sheer number of bad guys. Enjoyed the story and dialog, but felt like this was a budget version of COD4 with worse bots, too easy, and too short. Radio chatter between team and other story elements felt fairly authentic (not that I would know) which was a pleasant improvement compared to other games including COD. Had a few buggy spots where it wouldn't trigger the next cut scene or action until I found the magic spot to stand in. Overall I'd give this a 6/10 - worth playing if it's on sale.
Campaign was great, but far far too short. Multiplayer.... well all medal of honour servers shut down in 2023. So that's that. This game isn't worth more than £10 in my opinion today.
best campaign i played for last 2 years it was smooth, fast,it had story i rlly liked. For 4 bucks its a good deal
I remember this game alot differently, its buggy, mission broken and frustrating.

Medal of Honor (2010) stands as a remarkable entry in the first-person shooter genre, showcasing some truly impressive elements that elevate the experience to memorable heights. Here’s an in-depth look at what makes this game a standout:
1. Core Gameplay:
The core gameplay of Medal of Honor is one of its strongest aspects. With fast-paced, tactical combat and a blend of modern warfare elements, it offers an intense, realistic experience. The use of cover mechanics, tactical positioning, and fluid movement ensures that each firefight feels dynamic and engaging. The AI opponents are smart and unpredictable, keeping you on your toes throughout the campaign. The addition of diverse mission objectives and the shift between close-quarters combat and open firefights keeps the gameplay fresh and exciting.
2. Graphics and Visual Design:
The visuals of Medal of Honor (2010) are absolutely stunning, especially for a game of its time. The environments, ranging from barren desert landscapes to dense urban settings, are meticulously designed and brimming with detail. Character models and animations are lifelike, contributing to an immersive experience. The lighting and shadows are top-notch, enhancing the mood of each mission. From explosive firefights to quiet, tense moments, the graphics pull you into the action, making every encounter feel real.

The maps are well-balanced, offering opportunities for strategic play while keeping things fast-paced and competitive.
6. Realism and Attention to Detail:
One of the standout features of *Medal of Honor* (2010) is its commitment to realism. The game strives to portray modern warfare in a manner that feels grounded in reality, from the gritty environments to the authentic weaponry. The developers went to great lengths to capture the feel of real military operations, and it shows. From the way soldiers move and react to the tactical approach you must take in combat, *Medal of Honor* doesn’t shy away from delivering a genuine military experience.
7. Overall Enjoyment:
Medal of Honor (2010) excels in offering an action-packed, immersive experience with rich detail in every aspect of the game. The combination of tight, responsive gameplay, breathtaking graphics, emotionally engaging music, and compelling narrative makes it a must-play for fans of the shooter genre. Whether you're enjoying the gripping campaign or diving into the multiplayer, this game offers something for everyone, making it an unforgettable experience.
In conclusion, Medal of Honor (2010) is a prime example of what military shooters should strive to be. With its well-executed gameplay, stunning visual design, memorable soundtrack, and realistic portrayal of warfare, this game is one of the gems of its generation. A brilliant tribute to the men and women who serve, it leaves a lasting impression. Highly recommended!
After being able to play this game for many years, I started to get asked for a product key when I'd run it. I assume something in the license between EA and Steam has changed. Quite a shame. Looking at recent discussion posts, I'm not the only one having this problem.
it brought back some good memories to me from when i was a kid playing this game
Not that great, especially compared to the original games
Incredible story, not half badly aged graphics either, and then 5GB for the whole thing, now heres something new age devs should learn from , if EA pulled it off with this game, theres no reason at all for 100gb games to be the norm nowadays with what they offer.
People generally diss on this game, and hard. True, this isnt the best FPS COD like shooter out there, the game mechanics can be a bit better at times. Despite all the roughness, there is a gem underneath. The story is pretty awesome in my opinion, kind of reminiscent of the older MOH games.
Forget about the comparison to other games, this game, by itself is still an underrated game according to me. It is short, it shows the gruesome nature of battle, makes you feel badass, and you especially appreciate the game on the hard difficulty. MOH has always been dear to me, this is an homage to it.
came back to play the game again after playing it as a kid over a decade ago. it felt so nostalgic, well written story.
nice game, yes
really good game which reminded me of the good old CoD games combined with battlefield. Better than the new CoD games but i prefer games like MW2 or BO1. still a great game which makes a lot of fun.
The best military FPS game i ever played. 10/10
It is good and based off a book
If you can find it on deep discount then the single player will provide you with a historically authentic spec ops experience. The voice actors talk like real spec ops units. They got real guys from spec ops to consult and it shows....The only setback is the short campaign and linear level design.....Still worth checking out.
Multiplayer has been shut down
Loved all the aspects of the game and would definitly recommend it to other players
kha de, pukhto ye wartha lag dher ezda kare wa. guzara kai, enemy ai was shit though even in hard.
A great old school game forgotten by time…. I miss the MOH series, I revisited this game 15 years later, it does suffers from poor optimisation and a lot of texture pop in, and the game is rather stiff compared to modern games
Pros
Good story
Likeable characters.
Story is around 3-5 hours depending on skill.
Cons
Poor optimisation
Clunky controls
The campaign is something I greatly miss with today's games. Fantastic story, realistic, and simple. I wish the Medal of Honor series would make a comeback, especially with more games like this one. I just wish I could still play multiplayer. If you can get this game on sale it's well worth it to play the campaign.
Absolutely amazing game
I have played the game and enjoyed it but it seems to end abruptly when entering the cave to rescue the two missing Seals. Is there something wrong with my version or is there another instalment to buy?
its good for its age
Hell of a game
its pretty good 10/10
It's really is a good game, but due to it having to be activated and EA limiting the number of activations I can not recommend this game.
