I havent played the game because unfortunately it is in German, and I cant seem to change it. Ive heard good about it, very sad.
A thrilling singleplayer military experience. The multiplayer is also amazing but unfortunately empty and abandoned.
One of the few, One of the best...
This is one of the most iconic games that is widely known and has touched many of our hearts from the single player campaign to the multiplayer and the lobbies that has become something much of historically changing on how much everyone has played and loved this game. This is something that we won't ever see again in the Call of Duty franchises that are being released now nor in the future. I have completely stopped playing the games after they are just copying and pasting most and if not all of them at this point. I would really love to see another game that is released in the future that is EXACTLY like this to the "T" not something like it... EXACTLY like it.
This game is fun, the graphics are decent, the soundtrack is good, and the plot is okay. Overall I'd rate this game a solid 7/10.

first cod game i ever played, and the first time i played was over 5 years ago, i have been searching for this my entire life.
Loved the campaign in this game, was a great experience. The plot twists, interesting environments and characters kept me completely engrossed the whole way through. Would highly recommend.
The graphics may be dated, but the combination of gameplay and story makes this game really enjoyable for me. I never played it when it first came out, and I don’t often play Call of Duty games when they did come out, but I like to pick one up when it goes on sale. I’m just looking for a solid single-player campaign, and this one definitely delivers.

This has to be one of the best Call of Duty's ever, I completed the campaign 2 times already, and god the multiplayer is amazing.
Seriously you will not regret getting this Call of Duty, and I consider it still even more enjoyable than the newest cod titles that came out recently.
This one definitley a masterpiece, top tier multiplayer, best campaign ever.
After all these years the solo mode holds up very well, still very solid and one of the most memorable campaigns in the franchise
This game came out when I was 2 years old, I never played it until now. I'm 17 now and these COD games I used to be scared to play cause I didn't wanna die at all. But now going back and playing them, Makes me miss the old cod days.

Hands down one of the best call of duty's ever made. I know i only have 9 hours, but this is brilliant, and it is so much better than the reboot. I wish they kept spec ops.

The storyline is compelling, when the knife goes through the eye of Capt Shephard, you can see the blood come out! Very realistic. A+++

Modern warefare is the best game series (sub series, whatever) in history, you can't change my mind
The game can be really fun, except for the 60% of the time when you get absorbed again and again on some mod aim assist pice of shit server, where there are two snipers that quick aim scope every single one killing 6 at a time, making you go bilnd with rage. The rest is amazing.
现代战争1-3都不是什么有逻辑的游戏。剧情好？我估计说剧情好你需要满足以下几个条件，完全无视现实，完全无视犹撒一贯的对其他国家的抹黑，你觉得自己各种先进装备吊打对方很有英雄主义，你是精神美国人，你不在意事情的起因之类关键是你弄死了眼前的敌人，你也不在意智商，当然为毛一些个军火商毒贩能搞到核武器不重要，你也不在意几个很简单的故事为毛要剪成多段并且插着来让故事变的支离破碎，你也不在为毛你总是扮演英雄但是战火缺越来越大。如果满足了上面的几条中的任意三个，你大概率会说这游戏剧情神中神。
作为一个正常人，我稍微说几个点：
机场屠杀，发现一个CIA的探员，俄罗斯就立马入侵美帝。
入侵就入侵了，直接打到了华盛顿。我们可以翻开地球仪看看俄罗斯登录东海岸的难度。
美帝的防空系统无缘无故就完全瘫痪了。
俄罗斯无缘无故就大规模登录了。
登录了就算了，也不摧毁各种军事基地，去占领白宫，仿佛美帝就会立马投降。
为了围魏救赵，Price直接一颗核弹打白宫上空，这他妈是我见过的最傻逼的玩意。
按照这剧情，似乎事后的辐射什么的一个人也不会被影响。
当然少不了你扮演英雄去别的国家的平民窟抓人，好勇猛哦。
最后就是弄死一个内鬼，当然为这内鬼有这么大的势力也没什么逻辑可言。
坠机作为主角当然不会死。
被埋伏，地雷眼前爆炸当然屁事没有，毕竟老子都趴下了你还要怎样。
潜入关敌人如同睁眼瞎，非潜入关老子是睁眼瞎。
优点，这一作的无限刷兵稍微有所改善。

Modern Warfare 2 has probably has one of the top 3 Call Of Duty campaigns and multiplayer is blast so I highly recommend this game

This game had a great campaign and still holds up, just expect to get dozens of viruses if you even think about playing online.

As someone who has around 419 hours on this game im going to say that if you can tolerate tubing lobbies (og one man army + danger close combo) and modded lobbies here and there , then you find no problems playing this game; but whenever you found yourself in a hacked lobby you should quit the game right away, because there is a security issue with older CODs that your data can be stolen very easily, so beware of this issue as well.
The campaign plays solid and you don't face game breaking bugs often, therefore you will have a smooth gameplay
Last but not least i gotta say that the only scenario in which i recommend this game is when it is on sale, because of the experience that it gives you right now doesn't worth 20$.
I miss the old cod, the actual good one.

DO NOT START MULTIPLAYER, there's some serious vulnerabilities that are not going to get patched.
That being said, the single player holds up even 15 years later
Honestly, much more enjoyable than I remember. Though it did have some of the most iconic scenes so far. No Russian. The White House and America being invaded. Military fighting in suburban streets. Pretty crazy and overwhelming looking back at it now.
Probably one of the more nostalgic CODs. And it definitely stepped up quite a large notch when it comes to set pieces and level design vs the previous games. Definitely a huge milestone.

I found it way easier than MW remaster after finishing both on Veteran difficulty. But I had ton of fun in campaign. I highly recommend to follow the Modern Warfare release order to understand characters and some story references. Good game. MP isn't dead either.

best COD game still, makes me miss when task force 141 was still alive. ghost is such a babygirl, the missions are so interesting and actually challenging, and the quotes are iconic. i love when price does his over-dramatic dad pep talk monologue.
Brought back memories to replay the campaign again, and it is awesome that there are still dedicated servers for the multiplayer
It's a game you simply have to play if you've ever been a fan of Call of Duty. This is back when the campaigns were actually good. game play still holds up well and is just fun.
this is my first time playing call of duty modern warfare i really enjoyed playing it even tho it's 2009 game ppl would expect it to be low quality... but it's the opposite it's high quality and the details are so good i really recommend it!! imma buy the call of duty mw 3 (2011) soon i'm really excited <333
Ooooh, this campaign was transformative back when it came out; so many folks at school talking about their favorite weapons, their favorite characters, their darn favorite moments and mourning the betrayals of the title. It was a glorious time, one of the best, my first COD as well. Loved it.
love it, brings back the old feeling of CoD for most, even though i'm 13, i still feel like i'm playing something that changed history, what a great game!
One of the best CoD stories out there, I loved it so much I have not only purchased it on the 360, but here on Steam and then the remastered version on... Battle.net (poop but what can you do). Honestly, if you haven't experience what I believe to be the GOAT of CoD campaigns, you need to pick this up.
It is an old game, so get it on sale. It won't look as nice as the newer gen CoD, of course, and it lacks some of the mechanics of the newer games but this truly was CoD in its golden years and needs to experienced by all fans of the franchise.
