not very good at all, impossible to get immersed. its a dog barking in your ear.

The campaign is really good, only thing I would say it's lacking is basically the entirety of other allied powers during the war, barring the French Resistance. I don't think that aligned with their own storytelling goals though. By the end it feels like you have been through it all with your squad. Overall a great cinematic experience from front to back, and at times I was amazed at how good it looked and how well it performed as well for 2017, granted it did have to run at 60fps on 8th gen hardware, and we are long past that.

Multiplayer is dead, a majority of the weapons locked behind supply drops, and the only mod menus that are accessible to you are the ones that you make or the ones that you buy, making every single piece of post launch weaponry nearly unobtainable, unless you use Wanderlust and happen to roll one. Btw why did they never bring back Wanderlust? Such a fun perk. But basically all you can do is play against bots which I suppose could be fun for a while since they are somewhat intelligent

Zombies is, well I won't even bother tbh. It's there I guess

For the campaign even $20 is too much, for everything $60 is like a robbery that they're asking of you. But you know Activision, absolutely price-gouging you at any possibility. I do recommend but only for people with expendable income. If you need this game that badly, go google "FitGirl Repacks". You are welcome

story is great, just a bit short compared to other cod games.

multiplayer can be extremely fun, WHEN there´s no cheaters

The Collateral damage part wont work. There is no logical mechanic the tank function.
The tank direction is the worst i ever have seen. Direction keys for the hull and the turret wont turn separated.
The hull follows the gun direction. It seems to me that both are interfering. So you have to flank a TIGER and you lose so much time positioning your tank, turn the turet ( because it wont work separate from each other, and the enemy has time to turn his tank and kill you. No possibility to go to the next chapter, so the game end thare. Waste of your money.

was all good till i reached battle of bulge there was a bug with the plane that made me lose the mission everytime it was insufferable i couldnt control my plane and my plane was making me leave the battlefield storyline is really cliche too its badly written and gameplay mechanics are average i dont know how this is worth 50 dollars its literally terrible call of duty world at war is way better than this hunk of junk

If you are looking for a COD with a good campaign then definitely try this game. It has wonderful graphics cinematics, graphics and storyline.

I was so excited to try out this game. But it appears to be a very badly ported game from a PS4?
The Quick Time Event BS is so stupid. I'm glad that I wasted only $20 on this worthless piece of bovine fecal matter.

The game was kinda short. But the Story was amazing and worth playing

Great story and characters, greater gameplay, awesome sound design, this game's a lot of fun. Certainly worth playing at least once!

Finally a Call of Duty that feels, and plays, like a true CoD! The only shame is the short campaign. I don't care for multiplayer so i don't know how to evaluate that.

good sandbox, good story, good shit, there are moments that were rough around the edges and for some reasons the prerendered cutscenes sort of chugged but I literally beat this game in a single sitting so thats just a testament to how good it is

Sound design is crisp, story is meh (the epilogue is pretty good though), bringing back the original health system from Cod 1-3 was a very nice change and added a bit more challenge to playing the game on veteran, and the game looks pretty good.

Well, the game itself isn't bad, good story, seemingly good graphics, BUT

Who came up with that tank mission? God, fire this person and keep him away from game development. Together with him you can fire the moron who invented the mechanics with the eternal clicking F. Just because of this one mission my whole impression was ruined.

Well and historicity. Sherman will never get through a Royal Tiger, no matter how hard you try.

But, everything else still outweighs this hell, so the game is worthy of 8/10

The tank mission is unplayable. The mouse sensitivity for aiming the tank is so low that it's basically unplayable. You need to shoot the sides of the enemy tanks, but I can't turn my mouse fast enough to shoot them. I've tried increasing the sensitivity in game and also increasing Windows mouse sensitivity and it doesn't fix it. I can't skip this mission either without beating it, which is impossible.

The rest of the game leading up to this was great, but this bug makes the game unplayable at this point. Please fix this.

The biggest problem I have is with the mechanics of the game. Very sloppy and when your playing on the Vet level that does matter. When your playing on the lower levels it really does not matter. However the lower levels do not offer a challenge. The in-ability to think outside the box to solve issues in combat is gone away like the age of Dinosaurs.

If your going to make a game about war then at least give the ability to act as if your in a war. With weapons that work. For instance. Hitting a enemy at a range of less than a 100 meters with an M-1 grand would blow their head off. How come it takes two shots about 50% of the time to kill one person. Stuff like that is the issue I have at hand. If you want a game like MOH (Medal of Honor) then just make it like that. I expect a lot more from the supposedly 1st rated company for FPS in War games.

Very interesting gameplay. The campaign is short. It could have been longer. But of course the game was enjoyable.

Game is amazing, highly recommending. Full of charming and deep characters (Zussman and Pierson) with some action scenes that feels like a movie. Highly recommend!

This has to be one of the finest campaign in cod ww2 history huge respect for the developers , and people who are hating this game , is may be because of multiplayer and tank controls , I have'nt played multiplayer yet but for the campaign part its awesome as hell Greater than world at wars in some aspects , game is going down to be one of my favourite . If you are looking for a realistic graphics with world war type game this is the one.

Great story, Kinda inacurate in some parts but for the most part its a great game, kinda short tho in campaign mode tho.

Underrated Call of Duty campaign. There is some gore and dismemberment which is a nice detail. Additionally, the German spoken is quite natural and fluent unlike in some other titles. Overall, I get to kill Nazis and be the hero. What more can you ask for in a Call of Duty?

The actual game is underrated, but I've had constant issues trying to get it running correctly across multiple modern machines(2024/2025). I'd recommend getting it on console instead.

the story was alright i prefered the old cod's ww2 campains than this, i did try to get all collectables and herioic choices did the collectables but one of the heroic choices in the ambush mission is bugged so that it rarley spawns so if anyone wants to do 100% just something you should know.

Zombies was peak 100/10

I liked everything... except for two things. #1 playing as a tank. #2 Playing as jet. Other than that, the game was entertaining, and enjoyable. :)

Call of Duty (WWII) impresses with its graphics and well-written tale, but the campaign is too short (just 2-3 hours), making the game unworthy of the price.

Just Wow! Hectical start that captures you right off the bat. A real challenge to be tough enough AND lucky enough to make it off the beach! Immersive is such a weak word to describe the environment. I'd say it's right on the money for 'gaming' what these guys went through.

The story is the best of any call of duty if you want to watch a movie, the zombies is semi scary and not totally great, and multiplayer is dead unless you play shipment. Cool game.

Amazing Game, Amazing Campaign!

Very Entertaining Story Line, The Platoon is made up of some very well trained soldiers, The First mission easily take the cake on (Best Mission Of Call Of Duty History) Award. If your Interested In A Historic Game that has to do with fighting in wars this is the one 100%. so realistic i almost got ptsd from call of duty lmao

I recommend playing the single player mode at least, but the game has some troubles for people in middle east region, the arrangement of servers is unfair, you could possibly wait between 20-150 minutes to enter the specific mode you want
part of the problem is that there is no one entering this servers
{players should be able to choose the server without 3rd party applications}
(I checked some streamers from other countries who casually play without this huge delay)
but if you choose the most common mode(say for example TDM) you will face some hackers or some people who want to spread toxicity for no valid reason + repeated maps + no fun
But I actually find the game fun, kind of...

The Campaign is great, I love the tank support mission when you on a Sherman, alone have to fight against a Tiger and a Panther at the same time.

But the Time Event is really really really bad
That's when your fps is too high and the "Time Event" is so Fing fast like 0.1s and you can't even read what button to press. You have to lock your fps to 60 to make the "Time Event" right
The devs don't even bother to fix this

Bought it mainly for the campaign and hoping for the more oldschool COD feel going back to the WWII theme. Unfortunately it's just a short campaign with short missions. The resource management sucks and the shooting realism is terrible. I get that most weapons shouldn't be a one shot kill, but getting a headshot with, for example, the M1 carabine doesn't kill the enemy, and you need to spray away almost half a clip of a submachine gun to down one. This kind of destroys the whole use of the submachine gun in close quarters for me.
In short it fails as realism with the one direction move and gun until the next cut scene, but fails as an arcade shooter with the limited ammo and weapons choices. And the story is fully focused on the members of the squad without having any growth or development in them.

OK, to start I don't do multiplayer so this is about the campaign and I got this for $20.00 so for that price I guess its decent at best.
But here's why I hate CoD.
It takes 3 to 4 30-06 rounds to kill a guy. . . are you kidding me?
AI teammates couldn't kill a fly if they wanted to.
Tank controls are absolute garbage.
Continuity errors in weapons, like, why are the Germans carrying Soviet weapons en mass?
The stereotypical German bad guys are just atrocious and their accents are so over done.
The levels feel like a remake of a bunch of the other CoDs.
The "platoon" never looks at anyone but like, 4 people maybe 5, so we don't care about anyone else. Platoons even in modern day are about 36+ depending on attachments Etc. so what about the other 30 dudes.
Again, for $20 I guess I got what I paid for.

The start of the end for my interest in anything Call of Duty related. Loot boxes and unmemorable gameplay. I don't even remember what happened in the campaign.

Crazy that it's still $60.
