Synopsis
Слим-сан занимался своими делами, слизко ползая по тихому лесу, как вдруг... Откуда ни возьмись появился гигантский червь и проглотил его! Слим-сан оказался в утробе червя, и теперь ему надо принять решение. Отдаться судьбе и раствориться в надвигающейся стене желудочного сока... Или выбраться из червя на свободу, слизко прыгая и скользя по его кишкам обратно ко рту.

Slime-san — третья крупная игра от компании Fabraz, подарившей миру Planet Diver и Cannon Crasha. Slime-san создана для непрекращающегося веселья. Смешная история со странным героем и невероятно быстрым игровым процессом. Содержит контента для одиночной игры на многие часы, но придется по вкусу и любителям играть на скорости. Игра прекрасно подходит для сетевой игры благодаря уникальный игровым механизмам и дизайну уровней. Визуально захватывающее приключение в окрашенном в точно подобранные 5 цветов мире, полном радости и чокнутых японских шуток. Good idea, graphics, execution, nice settings options, but:
- game is way too fast, too much quick reactions required to the point where it becomes a punishment, not fun
- there is too many different controls.
Only buy if you are the "I must have high adrenaline" type.
A ton of content for the price! I bought it on sale, but it's still completely worth it at full price. The base game contains100 stages, most of which with 4 screens, putting the total at just under 400 levels,. Then there's New Game + remix levels, the Kraken add on that's included, the Sheeple's Sequel addon, the bonus Superslime Edition levels, and a full level editor! That easily brings the total closer to 600 levels. For $15, that's a steal. I haven't completed all the content myself yet, but there's collectibles in all non-boss levels, apples, bananas, or bugs on each screen, and secret passages that lead to coins. Coins that can be used to buy arcade games. Yep, this game even includes 5 full arcade games you can unlock, and it looks like there's a bonus game in the Sheeple Sequel. Some of the collectibles are fairly easy to get, others you have to be insane to try to get. Speaking of non-boss room (from a couple sentences ago), this game includes 5 bosses in the base game, 1 in the Kraken DLC, and maybe even more! (Again, not finished yet). As for apples and bananas, they're mostly used to buy cosmetics-sideart for the game, hats and glasses for you and your bird friend to wear, filters to put over the screen-but they can also be used to buy entirely new characters, each with ther own playstyles. You might jump higher but walk slower, or jump twice but lsoe your ability to dash. Speaking of the dash, this game has a dash ability somewhere between Celeste and Sunblaze. You can dash up or down, not limited to the left or right dash of Sunblaze, but you can't dash diagonally like you can in Celeste.I know that I've pretty much been listing things, and throwing numbers around, but this game is not quantity over quality. I love platformers, the likes of Celeste, Sunblaze Hollow Knight, and Super MagBot, and this game more than lives up the hype the genre has generated in recent years. In the early levels there are some signs to tell you the basics, walljumping, dashing, morphing, what button does what, but before long you hit the ground running. New mechanics are introduced in ways that don't hold your hand, but also don't punish you for not knowing what's going on. You're given time to figure out how the new level elements work, before their thrown into the mix with ones you've already learned in more challenging ways. There's a trophy time for each level, if you're a speedrunner, completionist, or masochist (which are all basically the same thing) but personally I'm just happy when I clear a level. Some of the levels can get really intense, especially the later levels and the Sheeple DLC levels, but they're never so frustrating that the game becomes unfun, there's always a clear way to win, it just becomes a matter of pulling it off.The art style is also charming and simple, and the music is very catchy and very good. I stumbled into this game by accident, durng the recent sale, but I'm happy I did, and I highly recommend it.
Fun little platformer. Decent challenge but not frustrating.
I love the platforming present in this game – it is fun, challenging, and fast-paced (particularly in the later levels).
(I also found an unexpected reference to a certain Valve game ov high esteem.)
This is a fun game, and if you want a timewaster. this is something that is worth a shot.
Underrated and very addictive gem. I bought it because I loved Demon Turf and I dont regret it at all, it's a fantastic game.
It's a lot closer to super meat boy or celeste, if you liked those games you likely will like this game also.
I'm really bummed because I really want to like this game but I swear these are the most unresponsive controls I've ever experienced in a platformer. I even tested my controller inputs which were fully responsive and tried another game and my controller works fine. It's like the game eats a quarter of my inputs. I'm not sure if the controls are just quirky or if I'm crazy but I really hope I can figure it out and get it sorted because I desperately want to like and continue playing!
Edit: tried again and have still found the controls to be finicky at best. I can't recommend this game to anyone unless you enjoy inconsistently and frustration.
Controls are very inconsistent (could be my controller or ingame settings, idk) and the bosses has so much waiting. Still enjoy the game overall it.
