Описание
The game offers an “Old School” FPS Arcade gameplay which was inspired by Doom, Quake, Duke Nukem and Serious Sam.
At the game’s core is its gunplay and movement, the enemies are smart, they are many and unless you use your weapons cleverly you are probably going to be defeated quite fast.
Spells and Guns
You have a vast arsenal of science fiction weapons, including laser guns, pistols and shotguns.Which you combine with a big list of spells you can also use to fight your enemies. You can freeze them with an ice spell then destroy them while they are unable to move, or just blast them with a fireball.
Flexible Gameplay and Replayability
You select which spells you want to use, and you get several weapons to use as you like. This variety of playstyles will be balanced so you can choose the way you want to play. The game will take record of your performance each game and give you a scoreboard. Try to win as many rounds as possible while defeating high level bosses.
Variety Of Enemies
There is a lot of different enemies to defeat, the game will launch with 4 classes of enemies ( skeletons, knights, mages and cyborgs) . Each one of those classes will have several types, for example, skeletons can use swords, guns, and different kinds of armors, while there are many types of spellcasters depending on the element of their magic.
Challenging Bossfights
Every several rounds, a boss round will happen. The game will launch with 3 bosses, the Necromancer, the Lord Knight, and the Archmague. Each one of those is completely different and has advanced AI to fight you.

Deathwave is a great FPS for fans of Doom/Quake/Painkiller/Unreal Tournament.
I really love the graphics, artstyle and settings reminiscent of Unreal Tournament and Quake III Arena.
There is also a nice mix of wave based combat plus cool bosses, abilities and weapons.
The game is also well optimized. This is a very impressive game.
two thumbs up, one from me in 2016, the other from me now.
Ok but waiting on the 0.9 updated as stated in the Early Access description.
FUCK
Cool music :)
Currently im going to say no to this game as yes i realise its early access, but you put the game publicised way to early, their are still many importaint features to fix like how you used just the base Ue4 buttons for the options menu, plus just having an endless survival gets very boring very quickly especially if you have no friends to play with, so i suggest you add some multiplayer/ co -op features and alot more modes and have the wave surviaval as a seperate more or atleast alot of things to work towards like unlocks because right now you just jump in and have access to all the spells and or weapons.
This game should not be on steam yet. It needs alot of work done to it.
Bought it for cards and I played it a bit, it's fun if you like zombies attacking in waves and dark enviroments
"early acces game"
my gawd. bought this with 90% steam coupon

-hope they devolpe the game better-
i give this a "hope"
Could be fun once multiplayer is added. In its current state its very, very repetitive.
update the game ITS SO COOL if you keep updateing i will be happy <3
The game is an indie one and if you like fast paced shooters like DOOM then it may be your kind of thing but for the price I couldn't wrong it, especially since it's supporting a developer who did this solo and is bringing multiplayer into the game.
As this game was just recently released, I'll try to keep my opinion optimistic, as this is an Early Access game and in its current state, is fairly barebones.
Yes, I would recommend this game. I picked it up on sale because it looked interesting, and for the price of $4, why the hell not? I believe that your money will go towards what appears to be a dedicated developer (released patches for bugs soon after launch, and stated to already be working on co-op, expected to be testable in a week or two).
I'll start with the good first:
-fairly solid mechanics
-simple, enjoyable shoot-em-up playstyle, inspiration from games such as Doom/Quake/Serious Sam
-beautiful graphics with the Unreal engine
-bullet physics! you must actually lead your shots! (except with the sniper, which fires a career-ending beam of death)
-shotgun surprisingly satisfying, was nice to watch that purple bolt spread find its home in a ribcage as the skeleton crumpled to the ground
-decent and varied selection of enemies for so early in development
-great character and weapon models, your 3D artist is doing great work!
-smooth animations, the skeletons' running and attack motions being the most noticable to me
-boss battles! i've only survived through two- one being a necromancer type which summons skeletons and family-ruining orbs of doom, should you not shoot them out of the sky- and the second being a 10 foot tall kite-the-knight, which surprised me when he pegged me with an impromptu shield frisbee. the boss battles occur every 5 rounds in survival and provide a nice mix to the action
-yet to run into any game-breaking bugs, no monsters getting stuck outside the map, etc. the game has flowed smoothly throughout my playtime
And then the bad (some of these may seem like nitpicks or hopeful suggestions, but I put them all here for the developers to see and hopefully incorporate into their game):
-the UI is terrible, hopefully this is just a placeholder, as it looks like a 12 year old created it with Java Swing components
-optimization is rather poor, you'll need a pretty serious rig to run this with 60fps on ultra. my laptop with integrated graphics netted about 20fps on low, with dips to 1fps whenever a lot was going on (guessing the particle effects and such are system heavy) and as such, I waited to review until I could try the game out on my desktop which is a little under the recommended specs. the game ran at about 45-55 fps most of the time, with dips to slightly over 30 fps in busy moments.
-the spellcasting is kinda wonky and ultimately, I found myself not using it at all, besides the occasional fireball into a group of skeletons or a blink to get me out of a jam. the UI for it is also fairly buggy, taking effort to get the cursor unstuck after entering the spell menu.
-the controls feel a little floaty to me, though I got used to them after a few minutes. I still scarcely found myself using dashing (double tapping a movement key). I did it accidentally more than anything.
-the ragdolls could use some work- although they're nice for enemy deaths and are flawless in that respect, they seem to lose most of their structure when on the ground. the second boss' ragdoll was spinning his sword around like a ninja with something to prove.
-currently, the melee enemies are Kite Simulator 2016. although they can catch you offgaurd (if you forgot to check your radar) they can get a few hits in, but ultimately I survived with backpedalling, regardless of how many melee enemies were chasing me. perhaps, some kind of special movement would make the combat more interesting, such as the enemies being able to roll/dash towards you or to dodge your fire (e.g. the imps in DOOM), or having AI that doesn't simply chase you around the map and eventually fall into a konga line. however, i had no real problems with the AI other than that, they seemed to perform well and had great pathfinding and accuracy. the bullet speeds means you don't have to worry about the AI's dead accuracy as long as you keep moving.
-I was surprised at the decent selection of spells, but the game could use more weapons as there are currently only three. perhaps, the pistol that some skeletons carry (since there's already a model in game) or even a melee weapon for sticky situations.
-only three maps currently, four if you count the textureless, arena-style map that is used for challenges. all of which seem to be open, giving long or medium ranged sight lines at almost every point. a more close quarters map might make for some more varying gameplay.
-hit detection seems kind of off when trying to shoot a melee enemy that has you in a corner (unless i'm just firing through his ribcage? :D)
There is a plethora of suggestions I could give, and although they may not exactly belong in a review, I'll put them here in case others may agree with me:
-excited for the co-op, which will possibly playable in a couple of weeks
-forseeable competative multiplayer?
-character/weapon customisation?
-more maps
-more weapons
-more enemy types
-perhaps some sort of campaign?
-workshop support? (user levels, campaigns, weapons, etc.)
Overall, I give this game a 7.5/10, on account of the game being so early in development and as such having a meager amount of content (1-3 hours at most), yet the solid mechanics and gameplay showing potential for a great game. Your $5 will be well-spent; even if you don't enjoy the game, you'll be supporting an up and coming dev team.
Ok im still dont have a ton of time played with this game yet, but i can Say its Super fun/fast paced and skill based arena shooter. Its also really cheap. I can deff see this game going far if you like games such as Devil Daggers or Quake or other games such as that. Im no pro at these games either but i can deff see myself putting some time into this game and improving my arena skills because of it ! Also the Dev is super responsive (even respoinding 4 minutes after i put my first concerns and thoughts!) which makes me comfortable that this game will also get the support it needs ! Cant wait for more! =)
