This title allows you to explore and complete the story in any way, any order you'd like. The exploration is phenomenal, the environment is vast and alive. The game has its flaws, but this game just keeps bringing me back.

And now that achievements have been added, I have a new reason to go back to 100% this game.

Lively world, with a massive map, interactive NPCs and just overall a beautiful game.
It can be hardware demanding and need settings tweaked for best experience, but so far nothing else has been as beautiful as the colorful redition of Bolivia.
Faction interactions can be manipulated to cause the local policia to attack the cartels and as you open up to more challenge, you can try your best to complete Ghost Mode.

I've played this for around 250 hours on Ubisoft Connect/Uplay.
I can say without a doubt that this is one of my favourite games.

I love the open world and the environment, I love the music, I love the (somewhat simplified) tacti-coolness, I love the sandboxyness, I love the illusion of freedom, I love the difficulty tweaking, I love the coop, I love the hidden stuff, I love the immersion, I love all the fun it gave me. Surprisingly enough, even though I'm not the typical stealth enjoyer, this is one of the few games in which stealth feels fun for me (I guess it's due to the immersion in general).

I don't like the braindead/aimbot AI, but, hey, you have unlimited amounts of 100% FOV thermal vision and unrealistically quiet "suppressed" 9x19, or 5.56x45, or even .50 BMG, lol.
I don't really care about the "story" (it's got some CIA drama or something, lol, very tomclancey).
One thing I really hate — this was *the* game that gave me the most immersive fight against el diablo cazador de hombres (yes, the Predator)! While I eventually learned his behaviours and was able to best him with a Beretta 92 only, it still gave me the best feeling of almost being in the movie. Why do I hate this great thing, you may ask? Another thing I hate is that this is another "live service" game for which we have no servers other than the official Ubisoft ones (which will eventually be shut down). It's such a shame that one of the best coop experiences will be buried deep at the software graveyard.

I've played dailies & weeklies so much, that I've managed to unlock all the weapons. There's even a musket (it's very underpowered), a Colt Single Action Army, and some other old (and some weird) weapons, you can cosplay/roleplay as almost anything (there isn't a Mosin-Nagant rifle though, there's mostly American oldies).
You can challenge yourself to anything (e.g. Ghost mode with unsupressed pistol only) and this is another big charming thing of the game.

Absolute banger of a game. Achieving 100% is a bit tedious and annoying but overall amazing game to play fully through. Easy 9.5/10 for me

Amazing game, great open-world, graphics, story, gameplay. Lots of weapons and attachments you can collect to make your dream gun. Whole game can be played with friends. Honestly, this is peak of Ubisoft, 9/10.

Far From Perfect, But Impossible to Put Down

If “action-packed sandbox shooter with a hint of Far Cry DNA” makes your ears perk up, Ghost Recon Wildlands might just be your cup of tea. It doesn't aim to be a masterpiece, but it’s got a certain charm that might keep you hooked for hours on end. Here’s my take:

First Impressions
From the get-go, Wildlands can feel like a “dumbed down Far Cry,” loaded with explosions and frenetic encounters. Unfortunately, the plot itself doesn’t match the bombast of the action: there’s a noticeable shortage of cutscenes, and the sub-villains never really get fleshed out. The main antagonist stands out, but everyone else seems to blur together, making each major moment feel fleeting and a bit shallow.

Characters & Dialogue
Your squad might look ready for anything, but their collective personality doesn’t go much further than a handful of voice lines – repeated ad nauseam. Lacking backstories also strip them of depth, which is a real shame, as some more character development and banter could’ve made the story much more immersive.

Gameplay Loop
The core gameplay loop remains undeniably satisfying. Even if there aren’t a ton of mission types, the gunplay feels smooth, and stealth takedowns are fun enough to keep you invested. Unfortunately, from the start, you have access to one of the most versatile weapons in the game, so there’s little reason to experiment with the vast armory. A greater incentive to use and master new weapons would’ve given the game more longevity.

Tier One Mode
Tier One mode is an intriguing concept but jumps in difficulty drastically – you go from story mode to an unforgiving extreme difficulty way too early. Reaching rank 20 is already tough, and beyond that, it feels like you’re just getting knocked out faster without a nuanced increase in difficulty. More stats, more balancing, and a gentler yet still challenging curve would’ve gone a long way here.

Where It Shines
Despite the weak narrative and shallow squadmates, there’s something inherently “comfortable” about playing Wildlands. The setting, the gunplay, and the open-world exploration all blend into a reliable experience that players seem to return to, even if it’s not revolutionary. It’s an excellent title to fire up for a few missions, blow off some steam, and then come back to whenever you’re craving more.

After playing Wildlands for tons of hours via Uplay, ´ve re-bought the game with all dlc's on steam during the sale becouse its cheaper than buying one dlc via Uplay.

(its almoost never on sale there or i keep missing it)

becouse i was previously was playing a different game, i still had my Tobii V (Eyes & face tracker)
attached and turned on.

And with a bit of confusion and to my supprise just now realized that its supported by the game

(yes i know.. wow youre slow! well,..i just never looked at the options menu sinds a really long time).

But thats just awsome!

To clarify,
It tracks eye and face movements, so in this game you can:
1. Move the camera to look left and right with either or both (head/eye movements).
2. Select what rebel support options OR gestures OR commands, you want to use.
(summon vehicles, support, distractions, , mortars, etc)
3. Look at a spot with the eyes when not aiming and then aim towards there will make you directly aim there.
4. Look around in when in a vehicle.
5. when using binouculars, or drone, you can instead of aiming at the targets to mark them, just look at them
(Making marking enamy's realy, realy fun and fast).
6. theres also something with zooming out but i forgot.


Great game, amazing in coop but also as a solo play.
(Yes if you are annoyed about the npc teammates, you can turn then off in options for true solo)

Horrible story, absolutely terrible... but if you're willing to skip it, you're met with a wonderful gameplay loop akin to the modern Splinter Cell games with a lot of upgrades, weapons, gadgets, and the return of the awesome "point and shoot" system.

It's like an open world Splinter Cell game.

at first i thought this game is gonna be a mediocre but turns out i was wrong, i am really enjoying this game as much as i thought. really love the graphics and gunplay in the game. worth the discounted price!

All I did was listen to 90's hip hop the whole campaign. Follows the usual ubisoft agenda, which is make a shit ton of collectibles to get on a big ass map and take forts, making it seem like the game isn't empty otherwise. Overall, okay game. 10/10

This game used to work, but now i have to login to some dumbf4ck 3rd party turdware that's completely irrelevant to me launching or playing a game I bought originally on steam. if you want people to login to your garbage to sell their information and monitor their specs than sell the game on your non existing platform, because this. The game is super fun and it is nice that you can make your own decisions on how you want to approach a situation. In addition, I like how every member you take down makes you feel like your changing the world when nothing really changes cosmetically. The story is okay but the variety of weapons and sniper rifle bullet drop is nice. Definitely recommend whether you want to play single player or co-op with friends.

Why this game is SO AWESOME

1.the game give u the best 2 words "Player choice", u can roleplaying as the real tactical soldier to do some stealth and reduce the risk, or u can be psycopath that just run in and gun blazing without thinking the risk while the reinforcement coming in (try extreme mode then u know), u can edit ur character or guns what ever u like.

2. the side mission when u chasing vehicle while u ride helicopter or car and ur companion shot at it, man is like u are in the movie but u are the main character

3.I know this game come in 2017, but i love how the dev keep the guns real names is just give a nice detail, unlike today games just give a really silly name to the gun

4.the drone is OP (short cooldown, and can bring some explosive) to do some scouting.

5. the game is not boring, even u spent 100 hrs or more,because the game give a lot of the side missions, u can gather skill medal or gun parts before do main quest , bring the rebel to fight beside u. calls mortar, piss off unidad until it reach lvl 4 patrol, throw civilian out of his car, and many more. 1. is nice to have 3 companion alongside and they very useful actually, but some time they all scatter all over of the place and not close to u and sometime they just walk into enemy face and they just chilling and not got alerted, that kill stealth vibe

2. is just me or the game dont have much music to offer, i think the music playing when u on stealth mode, maybe is nice when they play some awesome music while u chasing vehicle or when u in combat situation.

3. personally i dont like u can customize ur character and guns anytime and anywhere but no biggie its fine i guess to some player

Fun game either alone or with friends. It's better than Break point.

This game is so bugged it's unbearable. I tried getting through the ghost mode and kept dying to absolute BS and ai teammates that wont revive you EVEN WHEN THEY ARE RIGHT NEXT TO YOU AND AREN'T DOING ANYTHING. Climbing is absolutely inconsistent, sometimes a small wall you can't jump over but a taller one you can??? Sound effects for what you are walking on sometimes are not accurate at all, like I'll be walking on dirt ground but the sound is metal??? Sometimes the game won't even let you take out your drone for some reason EVEN THOUGH YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO. Whatever you do, DON'T TRY WALKING OVER ROCKS CUZ YOU CAN FALL THROUGH THEM AND DIE. And don't even get me started on vehicles, from the cars to the flying vehicles, they feel so off. Helicopters don't turn enough while going forward, cars take forever to come to a full stop when using the brakes, planes are so sensitive that I feel like if you make too much of a turn the plane wants to take a nosedive, boarding boats can sometimes just take a while for some reason. I'm so done, i can't with this game. I really wanted to at least get one of the exoskeleton armour sets but I can't keep playing this trash. Maybe I'll come back after a while just to finish the story but honestly starting to think it's not even worth that.

The game used to work. Now it doesn't. Disabling overlays doesn't work. Reinstalling doesn't work. Reinstalling Ubisoft Connect doesn't work. Setting processor affinity doesn't work. No matter what I try the game hangs on the black loading screen.

Apparently a number of people have this problem. Sometimes one or more of the above help them, but so far none of the tips has allowed me to get past the loading screen and of course I'm well past the point where I can ask for a refund.

Buyer beware.

The real "Tier 1 Operator" in Wildlands is Ubisoft, expertly extracting $30 for a season pass from me, a weak and complicit gamer.

nice game fun to play and have a good story

This is probably Ubisoft servers fault, but the game takes literally over three minutes just to start up due to it trying to connect.

Game wise, this is what you get if Assassins creed and GTA had a baby, but not the good parts. Alot of repetitive missions on each map. Same things over and over and over again. After the fourth "boss" I find myself not even wanting to explore anymore. Travelling anywhere with anything besides a helicopter is completely useless unless you like spending time just driving around.
The story characters are pretty good but you end up doing the same things every mission anyway. I'm already bored enough from this game to not wanting to finish it. I got it cheap though.

It's the good old Far Cry 2 formula, but with terrible optimization, useless AI teammates that are just for show — they don't do anything and let enemies gun you down right next to them — and a crappy proprietary launcher that makes no sense at all.

Not as fun as I remember. It's quite boring and the world is empty.

It's not the most optimized of games and you might run into issues when initiating a co-op session, but at least it's not an always-online title (unlike Breakpoint) so I hope Ubi can't just pull the plug like they did for The Crew. The DLCs are not worth it as they aren't real additions to the existing world and are instead played on separate (smaller) campaigns.

But if you like the core gameplay loop (basically like capturing outposts in FarCry 5), then you'll get a kick out of this game. I find it re-playable, super satisfying, and extremely fun in co-op. The open world of Bolivia is vast and gorgeous, with varied landscapes ranging from deserts to jungles. However, there's often not much to do in-between points of interest, the world isn't very deep. To go back to the FC5 comparison, there are no sidequests, no hunting, no fishing etc. Most of the time you'll just take in the scenery as you're crossing from one location to the other.

The main downside for me is that progression (besides the skills and weapons you unlock) is measured in story missions and increased allied presence in provinces, but not in decreased enemy forces. Again, unlike in FC5, outposts are not yours to use once you clear them out — move out and return, and lo and behold, you have to kill everybody again. This is especially frustrating for SAM systems, as in higher difficulty provinces, you're constantly being targeted while flying and it would have been way more rewarding if you could clean the map.

Shallowness and lack of meaningful map progression aside, the gunplay is good, most missions or outposts can be taken either in ultra stealthy fashion or guns blazing, in close range or from afar. Vehicles are ok, I liked the story, and it's a lot of fun with friends. All of that combined makes for a game I regularly come back to.

I sneak. I shoot. I fly away in helicopter. Repeat. It's fun enough and way better than most Ubisoft titles.

My Ubisoft account was deleted by them and then made it to where I can't play the game. When I reached out to support for help they asked for a lot of information with a time limit before they automatically closed the case. 10/10 terrible company. Would recommend if you want to waste money.

This is a really solid third person tactical shooter. One of the most fun co-op games around, too. Difficulty balancing is exactly right.
Great looking and enormous world to explore. Lots of emergent gameplay.

2017 - Beat the game, got the golden exoskeleton, was playing it non-stop being completely immersed and addicted.

You should be able to tell if you are going to like this game after you clear the first area, because you will doing the same thing over and over again. I didn't really notice any difference in the higher difficulty areas. Maybe more enemies and SAM sites. I started the game on hard difficulty, but I think the game bumped me to extreme difficulty once I got too much experience. The game is kinda easy since your AI buddies are wall hacking snipers and the enemy AI does seem to care that there are less and less people in the area. Also dead bodies just disappear after less then 30 seconds. It also convenient that the AI doesn't care when I would land a helicopter less than 150 meters from them. On the other hand when you AI buddies are free roaming, the enemy AI seems to get pass them and you only have less than 5 seconds to react if they spot you before you are dead. A few of the missions have a lack of checkpoints, so it got annoying to try to finish those missions. I did grind all the optional objectives, more for completion sake than any perks that were provided. Got it on sale for $4.99. For that price for an open world Ubisoft game, I rate this 6.5/10.

Most amazing game i've ever played, I get to enjoy it with my best friend as well. There is one issue though. Sam fischer. Our character meat rides him in dialogue for about 15 minutes. Just in depth meat munching, it's impressive, i genuinely think we end up taking backshots from the amount of times we suck him off. much fun though.

I'm really enjoying this game, especially co-op. I would have whole-heartedly recommended this game, except for the fact that I now randomly get BSODs while playing Wildlands. There doesn't seem to be any specific triggers, it just happens randomly when playing and I haven't had any BSODs for years except for while playing Wildlands. Had to abandon my playthroughs which I'm really bummed about.

Easily the worst Tom Clancy game to have ever been released. Just recently tried it out again and it's abysmal. The AI are about as thick as council house dwellers. Breakpoint is vastly superior compared to this.

One of the best shooters ever made. The movement is a little clunky at times, and when sniping past 700m draw distance and such things can become a bit of an issue, but everything else? Whether you like sniping, assault rifles, silent take downs or shotguns, every type of shooter can find his role in this game.

Graphics (good for it's time, holds up well enough to this day).

Recommended to be played with friends in coop or in survival. Solo can also be a fun challenge, and there is a hard core game mode, which sounds like a great challenge I could still go back to complete (tried a few times, with no hud or drones, constantly died in the first region 😅
