Before you buy, I encourage you to download the free demo first and try it out.
Also, please note that the player base is currently quite small. So to enjoy multiplayer, you'll likely need to organise a game with friends or others in the community. You can also add bots to help fill out games more. By the way, the free demo can join full version games!

About the Game
These are humanity’s FINAL DAYS! You are one of the last survivors after dirty warfare left most of the world mutated and thirsty for blood.
Final Days is an intense arcade-style shooter where you battle relentless hordes of mutants. As the hordes grow into the hundreds, work together with your team to survive the frenetic onslaught.
Annihilate mutants, collect better ammo, rack up your score, and try to stay alive as long as you can. You may die, but your top scores will live on in the leaderboards!
Team up with as many friends as you can muster. Add bots if you need some extra backup. Or even go it alone if you’re a total badass!
- Defy overwhelming odds with hundreds of enemies on screen at once!
- Team up for online/LAN co-op play with up to 16 players!
- Play split-screen with up to 4 players local co-op (and still be able to join online games!)
- Still need some extra backup? Add up to 4 bots to help level the playing field!
- Destroy the mutant hordes with several different ammo types and explosives
- Think on your feet as enemies (and sometimes other players) destroy the environment
- Move and place objects to slow the hordes (although it won’t last long!)

This game has interesting ideas, such as giving you a single weapon that can use many different ammo types and making every wall destructible (both by you and by the zombies), but it ended up being quite brainless and repetitive.
Every level/wave plays out the same across every map, every gamemode, and even when the special enemies come into play.
You don't have to take my word for it, just look at the achievement stats: half the players who launched the game didn't even kill 100 zombies (literally a few minutes of gameplay), only 1 in 6 finished the first non-tutorial campaign, and only 1 in 10 finished the second non-tutorial campaign.
The later campaigns have completion rates around 1-2%, and not because they're any more difficult.
Also, the checkpoint system is incredibly bad: restarting from a checkpoint means restarting without any ammo, which for the later checkpoints guarantees you'll not be able to survive and will have to restart the campaign from scratch.
Buy the game for the difficulty, look at the achievements. AI teamates can be set to team (passive) or solo (aggresive). Two player split screen is part of the game, you while need a controller for this feature. Mouse and keyboard gameplay is good, have a scroll wheel for quick weapon change. The game does not have lot of weapon customization but was created by a single developer and overall is very impressive.
