Silly VR game, with good mechanics and decent freedom
Nothing better than a 9-5 after a 9-5
Haven't finished the game yet but its very fun and you'll never get bored with the tasks you get. My favourite so far is office worker! If you play vr games this is definitely a good game to play
Don't buy the game if you have small room, impossible to pick up items if any object interferes
Job bot... thats what they call him. but they dont know the cruel thing that torments me. Job bot wishes that i dont give alcohol to miners... yet im the chef... they call me gordan ramsey because I cook it on the shi... jimmy good thing you arent allergic to BEERS!!!!! HE HAS ROBBED ME! Вот и дошли мои руки до Job Simulator. Очень долгое время я хотел в нее поиграть самим, но получалось лишь в торговых центрах. А сейчас, после приобретения и полного прохождения на все ачивки я готов поделиться своим мнением
Несомненным плюсом игры является то, что она довольна проста для новичков в VR. Здесь нет движения и прочих вещей, которые могут укачать в процессе игры. Управление интуитивно понятное, как и сами задания, поскольку даже если вы не обладаете знанием английского языка, то вам всегда выводится задание на монитор
Также из плюсов могу выделить разнообразие квестов на каждой из видов работ, что не даст вам заскучать по мере прохождения. Вы не увидите здесь повторяющихся заданий, каждое задание отличается друг от друга, оставляя ваш интерес в дальнейшем прохождении
Еще одним плюсом является довольно простая платина, которую можно получить по мере обычной игры, даже не гоняясь специально за ачивками. Лично я, с учетом того, что уже знал как выполнять достижения получил их все чуть меньше, чем за 2 часа игры. При этом всем на каждой профессии я успевал пофаниться и никуда не торопился
Перейдем к минусам. Прохождение занимает очень мало времени, что могло бы являться плюсом, если бы не ценник в 20$. 20 баксов за 2 часа? Немного оверпрайс, поэтому стоит брать игру во время скидок
Также иногда присутствуют небольшие баги, когда предметы могут застревать в текстурах, тем самым иногда портя прохождение
Но даже при этих всех минусах, я вам настоятельно рекомендую попробовать данную игру, поскольку в нее весело играть даже после прохождения основной кампании. Вы можете попробовать поиграть в разные профессии с модификаторами или просто расслабиться в бесконечном режиме
really short game, very little replay value outside of 'number go up', but still, a great game. would love to see more jobs as DLC
Even in 2025, this game is still one of the better VR experiences out there. Job Simulator is quite nostalgic nowadays, being one of the earlier games to come out for VR, despite that, it was still updated to add an "overnight shift" mode which allowed you to play each job for an unlimited amount of time, and added support for index controls, as well as being able to pick up things from the ground without having to actually reach for the floor. I still remember playing it with my HTC Vive when VR was still relatively new and I had so much fun, and replaying it again, I had even more fun.
The interactive aspect of the game really stands out, even after this much time. Everything is interactive, even the things you may not directly think are interactive, everything is satisfying too, even just opening and closing a car door feels satisfying and snappy, and the physics are solid. A lot love was poured into this game and it really shows.

all the memories i have left from this game are positive ones as i can remember
i'd love to play more but can't due to medical reasons

abusing robots simulator
I would only recommend this for someone who has friends over that never played VR.
This game is literally the first VR game I ever heard of, glad that now I finally have the opportunity to fully enjoy it now that I have my own VR headset :)
its a short game but its infinitely replayable when im super bored with endless mode after you complete all the jobs
i'd say its a good game to be introduced into vr with as you can do a bunch of silly stuff to the robots, which i think is pretty cool
10/10 getting this game when i was younger was my dream as i watched all the youtubers play it growing up

it’s great as a casual vr game, it’s just really short.
Great game, especially if you want to get into VR without any prior experience.
While the game can be completed within 2 hours the modules you unlock after finishing the game and the endless mode give it a decent amount of replayablility. Though do to it being really simple i would rather just see it as an introduction to VR.
If you are new to VR games, this is the game I would recommend trying first. The controls are very simple, it's just grabbing things and moving them around, and you aren't required to move around that much since everything is within reach at all times. The tasks are easy to understand and there are no timers so you have as much time as you need to figure them out (or as much time as you want to goof around!).
This is fun enough to keep me entertained but simple enough that my 10 year old sister can do it too. Highly recommend if you've just bought a headset.

Arguably the closest I'll ever get to actually having a real job.
Incredibly funny game, both for its writing and its physical interactions. Has aged super well, and is still a fantastic showcase of what can be done with VR.
I'd say the office job is clearly the strongest of all 4 jobs presented, and I wish the other had had as strong of a writing and served as great parodies as incisive as the office one, but overall I had a great time in all of them.

This the best casual VR game on the market so far. My only issue is that it is extremely short. Only 4 jobs available to choose from. I know this game is from 2016 however, if there was an update or dlc that adds way more job options that would be amazing!

Job Simulator is what I would argue to be the best example of a beginner-friendly VR experience. It simply puts you in a job of your choice and lets you do it however you please. Theres no consequences, just freedom. I may only have 71 minutes on this game here on Steam, but I have played this game countless times on my Quest 2, going so far as to learn speedrunning it. This game never gets boring to me and I would recommend it to anyone, especially to those new to VR.
