In this new adventure players are able to instantly transform Mistralis between Summer and Winter, harnessing the brilliance of nature: frozen winter ponds and waterfalls become deep, teeming summer pools and chambers in which to dive and unlock secrets, enemies can be frozen or doused, and the very air itself used to form snowballs or moisture-laden clouds.
Other amazing new abilities include the cyclone, which can be used to transport Toku, smash powerful enemies and even drill through the rocks of Mistralis’ diverse, richly interactive Chilling Peaks and Melodia City areas.

This game is good, like really good. The first game was already a way too good of a game for a mere wii ware title, but this, THIS was fantastic. This literally took everything built up in the first game, and added some really good and new elements to keep things fantastic. It was a total joyride from start to finish, and 100 percenting this was a blast. It is sad we never got a LostWinds 3 because goddamn this game is good.
Absolutely better than the first game but beware that it needs some tweaking in config file if you're playing it on an ultrawide screen. I got stuck in a space because I felt falling off the map. Had to play in windowed and 2460 x 1440 resolution in order to continue the game. Also had a few crashes. Got both games for under $1,5 ages ago.
Otherwise, good story-driven platform game with farily easy puzzles.
free from the clutches of wiiware, but the game definitely does not feel like it controls well with a mouse. would still recommend because of the lower price during sales, but something definitely feels off compared to the wii version.
wouldn't advise at full price.
