there is absolutely nothing wrong with experimentation. does everyone fail to see this?
just because the game has the number "2" in it does not mean it has to out-do its predecessor.
championship 2 is no different from the stark contrast that is og. championship and CEDX(+) you had no issue with any of the new concepts there, so what gives?
if anything, i say; be glad you even got more championship edition. sure, it may not have lived up to your expectations, but set that aside for a second here. the last time we got a ce game (as of writing this) was in 2020. an unfortunate side effect of this is that people seem to think that every game in the ce series has to blow their minds in some way. i simply despise this blindness that has cursed many of you. if there were to have been more ce content, they likely would have added content to the already existing CEDX(+), but because ce 2 is so drastically different from the rest, it got its own title. where is the harm in that, i must ask?
please remember that the original vision of championship edition - as a whole - was to reinvent the wheel for the good of sir paceth and the four dastardly superstitions. the entire idea was to experiment with something new, and it did wonderfully. ce 2 just so happens to get the short end of the stick due to people missing the point. this is a game about pumping infinite dopamine through your feeble brain-veins with mach-FUCK speed and score-attacking like never before. you must'nt let a formula change get in the way of this. can you still move in four directions? good. now get to it.
overall, 0/10. championship 2 plus is miles better. too bad it's switch exclusive. do better, namco.
(p.s if you're only looking for my comments on technical issues. give in, cave dweller. just get a better pc, lmao)
Really love the first one, this one just lacks any sort of charm, fun or general reason to stick with it. Also had issues streaming it to another device (atgames legends ultimate, hard wired between pc and cab over cat8 ethernet on both ends) - but cannot discount it's not something on my end despite other titles (first pac-man championship included) run fine.
Pac-Man has changed my life for the better

I want to love this game, Its great on switch, but not here. please just play anything else
I was gonna 100% game, and I only have one achievement left! But I'm stopping (at least for now), as this game is so absurdly bad and annoying, I can't stand it.
The requirements for unlocking the final level for Adventure mode is so grindy and difficult, I don't see how anyone with any self-respect could attempt it. Isn't Pac-Man usually a kids game? No kid could EVER beat all of Adventure mode. The game wants you to beat EVERY SINGLE LEVEL ON PRO! You need to collect every single star, and to do that you need to play all levels on pro (the hardest difficulty) and its super grindy and not fun. Why can't I just casually play through my wanted difficulty and beat Adventure that way????
This is probably THE WORST Pac-Man game I have played, I haven't even mentioned the countless bugs, and buggy AI this game has, the pointless changes and things they removed from the first game, just... just bad. Even if you are a completionist, skip this game. For your sake.
