i wanted ghost of tsushima but all i got was phantom of hiroshima
Groundhog day type game in feudal japan, story is actually interesting and the replayability makes it so you discover something new every time you replay, honestly i still have no idea how the skills work but its fun. I wish some systems were presented in less convoluted way, with 10 hours and 5 different endings and im still discovering new things to do. I really hope the studio picks themselves up and make wots 5 with actual resources and time but that probably wont happen
can be a frustrating game at times, but over all a very fun game
my first time playing this series and i absolutely love it and am gutted that there's no sequel in the works

Comically strong senior citizens and samurai moves that leave you in a knot and fling you off the screen, what's there not to love?
Missed opportunity to make this an online experience, but there is charm to a game that doesn't take itself too seriously. All the while retaining the demeanour of the conventional, katana x tanto wielding rugged warrior at odds with several opponents where it counts, showcasing the authentic samurai archetype we all know and appreciate. A plethora of endings, broken enemies and an impeccable atmosphere to bump some shamisen and Japanese drill to.
7/10. In Amana, with 30 seconds half a minute passes, and ninja backflips run the streets.
Played back on 360 when I was little, great sorta open world game with multiple paths to take that actually lock you into certain endings. Highly recommend for people that enjoy older action-rpg type games.
Top 5 in all single player games I have ever played. Couldn't say the position, but if you enjoy Mount and Blade style freeform swordfighting games pick this up now. Someone talking shit to you in a cutscene? Any cutscene in the game, there is a dedicated 'draw your sword' button where you can duel anyone anytime anywhere. Of course you will have to deal with the consequences, but you are meant to die and restart this game as much as you want. There is a real-time clock too, this game feels like a janky living, breathing world. Please grab this if you are bored of modern games, it will feel like a warm blanket.
Outdated graphics, you are free to do whatever you want but you choice matters in the end, tons of different ending to unlock which make this game replayable if you enjoy the setting. Deep combat mechanics, though badly explained in the game, you have to learn on your own. The controls are a bit clunky, once you get used to it it's not too bad. The very 1st playthrough could be rough, the game allows you to carry over all your gains to the next playthrough so it gets easier.
Game is fun is you don't do anything that would progress the Fujimori faction if you are wanting to side with them. This is mainly due to their stupid hide and seek side quests that are mandatory to due in order to see their sensei. there are no youtube videos to help you and the dev who came up with it had a field day hiding where people are.
If you get the abducted baby one good luck I'm not even going to tell you what the baby looks like so you can have the "fun" in trying to find it. If you get the sergeant one who is hiding with documents, good luck cause he lays down and blends in with the environment. the only good one is the wanted theif who is in the road, why? cause hes pink and sits out in the open in a green envoirment. The other best job that you will get is finding whos behind the murders at the Guard Gate, why, cause she cries and its real easy to find her.
Dark souls is easier than trying to join Fujimori. It really slows the games pacing down and is too repetitive especially when you have 29 endings and some require you to join Fujimori in order to get them. It'll take you hours just to get done with 3 jobs. You must succeed all three in order to join.
Barely works on modern computers, plays like it was made in 2003. This game might have the single slowest combat system I have ever experienced.
Great gameplay wacky mini games and good story.
Buy on sale, play 2 years later when you forget. Will be hidden gem waiting for you.
