Game profile got reset itself...all the cities are now locked what do I do??? Please help
it is good but 30 euros for poland is crazy it cost more than the game
So, ten hours in, and what can I say? It's a tentative yes. This game is chilling and relaxing, but it has many, many, many limitations. Don't expect a huge world of modding, like ETS2. Sure, there are a few reskins, but that's it.
So how's it run and what's it like?
I got the game working with my G923 very easily. The FOV can go up to 120, which enables you to see both mirrors, with the compromise being that you're not close to the dashboard. The passenger system is not as complex as the system in "The Bus", and it soon becomes a chore. Graphically, I have everything on epic, running full screen at 4k. I noticed a few stutters on the first play, but I put that down to assets being unpacked, because the stutters have gone. The graphics are acceptable - this is an old game, after all - but they won't set your world alight. Kind of in between the vanilla ETS2 cities and those of "The Bus". But a lot better than OMSI. The rain has nice effects - similar to "The Bus". Things go wrong with the coach, but your only options are to turn them off (like the bus wifi or the toilet). You don't get to repair them. The roads are similar to ETS2 - compressed to a scale - in this case, 1/10th, I think - though I can't vouch for any of the accuracy. The base game will give you access to two MAN buses - one with two axles, one with three - and that's your lot. Want another bus? Be prepared to purchase some DLC. The traffic AI is dense. As dense as vanilla ETS2. And there are no mods to improve it. Set the traffic density too high, and there are non-stop traffic jams. You're in a side road? No chance of getting out - not without just driving through the traffic.
The gameplay consists mainly of you plotting out a route from an unlocked bus stop to either an unlocked bus stop or a locked one. You unlock the stops when you stop at them. You can make the routes short or long - up to you. And you'll receive points once you complete the route. Things like being caught speeding, or bad driving, will reduce your points.
I don't expect this game will ever receive any complex mods, so it is what it is. Something to while away the time. Is it worth £25? Probably not. Certainly not without a diverse modding community - which it doesn't have. The DLC will add something to the game, but much of it is also priced too high. Unless you've got money to burn, maybe get it on a sale. But keep your expectations moderate. Though perhaps it might be better to buy "The Bus", which has long routes, 1-1 scale around Berlin, and hope that, like with OMSI, the modding community gets interested.
it is so fun
Great Game to Ride Flix bus in European cities. u can ride double-decker bus on European highways. It's Realistic game played on Steam
Manage to download this game fine, but for some reason when I want to play it, it doesn't come off the loading page, just stays there the whole time, no matter how long I leave it for. It says I've played the game for 1.8 hours but I actually haven't played one minute of it, just stared at the loading screen...
Not sure if this is a bug or what, because I know it's not frozen as the loading dots in the corner are still moving.
Don't know what I can do to get it to work...... Would prefer if I could actually play the game and not have just wasted my money...
OMSI 2 meets ETS 2
- Graphics look bad
- Controls are not state of the art
- only controllers with max. 32 buttons are recognized
- not fun
It's a brilliant game; so much to do! There are so many different DLCs which means you can drive so many different coaches. The DLCs also layer in to Tourist Bus Simulator so you effectively get 2 DLCs for the price of 1. I originally only had TBS and I bought 1 DLC. I bought Fernbus a few days ago while it was on sale and I enjoyed it so much I bought an additional 3 DLC; definitely worth it, especially since everything was still on sale. However, there 1 bus that has 3 slightly different variants and they are all sold differently at the normal price for a DLC! Not acceptable...
anyway,
[h1]8/10
[h3]Gets laggy in some towns and also has a few bugs!
Excellent. Good amount of content for a base game.
the best game
I had one small issue with my G920 wheel due to steam controller setting conflict; the Aerosoft support team got back within a few hours with a perfect solution. Outstanding customer service especially by modern standards. I once drove a Prevost tour bus and I hoped to relive the comfortable and satisfying experience of driving them.
Now that I have played it for about 6 hours, with the G920 wheel, TrackIR, and force feedback support, it is truly a great simulator with superb attention to details. I have played almost every kind of driving simulator that exists, this one ranks among the best. I believe it meets the same standard of American/ European Truck Simulator, and even exceeds it in some ways.
Little details matter most - the user interface for configuring controls is very robust and easy to use. All of the features on a real motor coach are accurate, such as being able to raise and lower the sunvisor, adjust the climate control for passenger comfort, ride control and hydraulic lift systems, they have thought of everything.
The GPS is easy to follow and lets you know your lane changes, the navigation as well as the route setup is very intuitive to use. All of the real duties of a coach operator are included, and even the passengers behave in a somewhat realistic and lifelike way.
I rarely write glowing reviews, but this simulator has earned it, especially after the great experience with Aerosoft support. I will be hoping for all of their games in the future to be as well made as this one.
First add and solve this things then I will give postive review about the game :-
(1)Game is lagging in some scenarios.
(2) Add more toll booths.
(3) Add Indian Routes Dlc.
(4) Add more passengers in buses only few people are there.
(5) Add some beautiful locations.
(6) Sometimes buses tires are looking blurry solve the glitches.
(7) Add giving snacks to passengers by assistant in the bus.
I loved how the game looks, and the graphics are really nice, but the optimization sucks. Even with an RTX 3060ti, I had to lock the frames at 60 and lower the quality to medium, but the game still has major frame drops, especially in cities. This makes the game frustrating and hard to enjoy at times.
I won't recommend it to anybody unless you have 4080 then maybe you can tell if it runs smoothly. ;P
highway simulator with traffic lights
Niet goed ik kom niet in
Bus
Worth the price.
The fact that the tires of the bus shine in metallic black, that you can hear the birds chirping for seconds as you drive past on the motorway at 100 km/h, that the angular, synchronously gesticulating passengers are teleported into the bus as if by magic... oh, I can do all of that cope. What I'm talking about here is driving. But that's just not fun.
The developers write that they haven't finished all the features yet. But surely the basics of right-of-way rules are not a feature for a driving simulator, but rather the core?! Someone is constantly crashing into my car from the side on driveways or roundabouts, and I get scolded for the accident and a stomach ulcer.
And if the AI highway rambos weren't able to dent my luggage hatch on the driveway because I let them in, then five hundred meters further on the empty road they suddenly brake to 29 km/h. Even pressing the brake pedal all the way to my lodger doesn't help. It rattles. And there is scolding for me. And my ulcer is growing.
The navigation system is the next nuisance. It chronically shows all available lanes until you suddenly turn a corner and you're standing in line in the wrong lane (you can take it easy).
The display also shows the maximum permissible speed, which in no way corresponds to the signs on the side of the road. And so I am always guaranteed to receive grim comments from my esteemed passengers about my preferred speed.
Amazing driving game - if you love any kind of driving, have a love for buses/coaches or just want to see Europe behind the screen, this is the game for you. I really love it and appreciate how detailed everything about this game is. It's constantly getting updated, you can drive simply with only a keyboard and mouse, and you can do whatever you want in the game! It is a must for automobile sim lovers.
My game doesn't even open anymore.
Love the game, but i do wish it was multiplayer
Let's see..
Developers never respond to inquiries!!!!
DLC's are sold prebroken...
Again a story about not believing in reviews written on Steam. Before I bought it, I read that the game is rubbish, poorly optimised and generally everything is bad.
But let me start with the bad: optimisation. It's not there, it's just not there. Some things are not fixed for a very long time. A common example: Van Hool DLC released over half a year ago and has FPS issues. I have a question - why do all other buses work fine, but this particular brand does not? Because dev is not optimising the important things that make them money, even though they should pay their attention to that first. Quite a lot of paradoxical things happen with this simulator, but you can live with them, but in such examples it seems that dev has taken on a lot but can't even handle what it should.
After the purchase I made conclusions:
1) Beautiful graphics. Although I have to say I don't like UE because of the blurring I personally see, but I was prepared since I have experience with ACC. There isn't as much movement speed here, so it wasn't a problem for me.
2) Quite decent optimisation for UE5(in genera! but bad at the little things.). Don't expect any miracles - this is UE with great graphics, it will never be something you can run this sim on an old PC.
3) Physics quite corresponds to the simulator - it's not RFactor2 and iRacing, just a casual sim about the bus, on it all. OMSI is better in this respect, but otherwise it's worse.
5) The buses are done perfectly
6) The menu interface is not very user friendly, in the bus itself is excellent
7) Graphics settings are many and they are quite variable
8) Sound settings are a lot, separately traffic, environment, separate sounds in the bus. I shake hands with the developer on this one - you're really better than most.
9) The engine sounds are beautiful.
10) The weather and changing seasons are awesome. Plus you can put your PC's time with one click - handy.
11) The controller setup is very awkward. There is not even a search for commands, you have to twist the mouse.
12) DLC price is fair. All simulators, and bus simulators even more so, are not sold in millions of copies so you dont can put a price of 2 dollars.
13) FFB is fine, but the customisation in the menu is terrible.
14) Yes, you'll need a steering wheel. You can play on a controller and even enjoy it, but it's definitely better with a steering wheel.
15) The countries in this game are very beautiful. Not without flaws, but very worthy. A special praise for Poland, it is very well done. Not all DLC is the same, some a little better, some a little worse because of little things. Hopefully Austria will be brought up to the level of the latest DLC.
16) Almost all of the buses you buy in Fernbus give you the option to use them in the Tourist Bus Simulator game
17) What I think is the most important - in this simulator is a pleasant atmosphere and just interesting to be in. There is nothing superfluous - creating a route and driving.
I didn't have any prejudices, I just wanted to try bus rides and I didn't regret it. After a couple of hours I bought all the DLC and hope to have fun. I'm offended that people write bad reviews - this game doesn't deserve to be treated that way.
Anyway, I can't be objective either - I really enjoyed the simulator. Make your own conclusions, just do not pay attention to the negativity that is written in reviews - usually it is not supported by anything.
(Steam for some reason says the item was received for free, since I bought the Platinum Pack)
