Play as arch-demons fighting each other in order to claim ownership of regions of the underworld. Using the power of the souls they harvest, the fiends can erect structures made of flesh, summon hellish minions and unleash diabolical magiks to help them defeat their foes.
No advanced RTS skill is required : our goal is to appeal to all players, whether they are die-hard strategy gamers or just local multiplayer fans.
The controls are pretty simple: there are only 4 buttons!
You can play with up to 4 players, so gather some friends and gamepads and start the ritual!

Fun, simple and yet extremely competitive with a group of friends. Can't wait to see what it's like with more meat on its bones.
- Nice arcade-ish RTS. They've done a pretty good job at making it play well with controllers.
- The lack of a decent tutorial is a bit awkward at first but it doesn't take that long to pick up the mechanics. (Perhaps writing up a compendium talking about the demons and their moves might be a good idea. It would bring some extra flavour and lore as well as explain what each move does and what its purpose is.)
- Nice metal soundtrack, although I wish there was more. Battling through hellish landscapes to metal feels great!
- The story mode doesn't work when this was written.
- The level editor works and is reasonably easy to use.
For devs: the AI is definitely lackluster at this point in time with the enemies stumbling over terrain and not upgrading buildings they also seem to just stumble into your attacks and it's quite easy to pick them off. Online multiplayer might be nice.

For some uncertain reasons, I was unable to play the game's story mode.
Everything runs perfectly fine when I launch the game, until I picked a level to start. The map shows up good for a moment, then just became black screen. Though the bgm was still playing.
I tried all keyboard commands that the game told me in tutorial, then relaunch, or picking another level, which all ended up in the same result.
Is this the same for all mac(OSX) users or just me?
Good RTS game, the only problems are as follows:
-Wierd frame rate drops
-Dumb A.I.
-It is difficult to move your units where you want them, akmost impossible to move them to specific locations. (This may be just a PC thing as i does encourage you to use a gamepad.)
-Lack of tutorial
All of this is proboubly going to be fixed in the future.
I am absolutely hooked on Soul Harvest; it's fast paced, fun, and quite challenging at times. I can't wait to see what else they have in store for this hidden gem!Remember this game is in ALPHA; (and I will be adding more to my review the more I play the game to give more in depth detail) but in it's current state it is still VERY fun to play and well worth the price.Edit#1) The game is still very satisfying to play, and with the addition of the map editor, more additional content is always great! Still enjoying the game! (don't let my hours fool you, most of the time I am playing offline)Final Edit. The game has been abandoned, I have tried reaching out to devs no response. Sad. Could have been something. Move on folks.
For an RTS lover, the game is certainly good, although at it's current state, should probably be waited out for a bit, from Frame rate drops to goofy A.I.s, the game can be somewhat frusterating, but i'm sure the devs can iron those little demons out and make it a helluva lot better. but if you are wanting for a quick fix of a new game, regardless of how much content is available at the moment, give this one a try out!
