So many years passed and this game still stands tall and entertaining. Being that single player against AI or multiplayer.
I played this game when I was a kid on a friend's computer. Still just as I remembered. Playing it now, I see some of its shortcomings and issues especially the controls. Still fun though, at least for me.

Worms Armageddon is the third game in the series. It's a turn-based strategy game with teams of worms battling it out using a wild assortment of weapons where the last surviving team wins. I played this game for hundreds of hours when I was a kid, and it still runs without issues on modern PCs (for me at least). This game is my absolute favorite of the whole franchise and if I had to recommend a Worms title to newcomers, Armageddon would be the one. The tutorial might be lacking, but the controls are quick to pick up.
The sound effects and voice lines are crisp and hilarious. I love the squeaky noises the worms make when they move, and when they fall headfirst into the ground, it never gets old. For me, the German voice lines stand out as superior to all other languages, and if there's one thing I can do well, it's imitating their quirky phrases. The stylized 2D comic visuals are also charming, with detailed, varied level designs that still look great today.
The game's variety of weapons is fantastic, with hilarious options like the Holy Hand Grenade and Super Sheep. The customization options are a major highlight; you can tweak everything from team setups to the level designs, offering endless possibilities. Plus, it has a wide range of game modes for both singleplayer and multiplayer, making it more than just a basic team deathmatch.

This is not the same Worms: Armageddon my friends and I played on PS3 for years. That was a quality game. This is not. I'll dig out my old PS3 from the garage if I want to play it again. Or play Worms: WMD. This version is trash.
I had so much fun playing this gem on 64 emulator.
