Loved the unique art style and immersive sound design. The puzzles were challenging, but I totally vibed with them.
Really gorgeous artwork and cute sounds make this a very pleasing distraction for a few hours
Great game and great attitude of the game developers! Thank you for your support! 💙💛
While you don't need to play the other games to enjoy this one, i recommend u to play at least the first (it's a 10-minute short free game, so, give it a go if u don't know if u want to buy this one), especially to be a little more impressed with 3 cuz like, the second game has approximately 4-5x than 1, and 3 has 4-5x more stuff than 2. The Samorost games are quite psychedelic and 3 is the most, he's also the best of the trilogy in every aspect (narrative, design, length, soundtrack), the puzzles are also a little bit harder than the other games too, since they require a little more unexpected interactions with the environment, this allied with the corky design and ost of the game makes each puzzle solved more satisfying than ever (u always get some kind of funny/cute reaction of the gnome when u do, and some puzzles when solved just make the landscape even more gorgeous or give u a little cutscene with great music). I played the three games and got every achievement and recommend them all
game good and smart, play with my 5 years old son, interesting, one more - ru fck off
A wonderful game with a truly unique world and atmosphere. Amanita Design did an outstanding job—thank you for this beautiful experience. And a special thanks for your support of Ukraine.
All the Amanita games are masterpiece. I love the graphics, I love the atmosphere, and I love their puzzles.
Very beautiful game. There is a puzzle near the beginning that makes no sense. I could look up online how to solve it, but if they want to make a basic puzzle that hard to figure out, I don't feel like playing the game. It's a shame, because the artwork is amazing.
Quite a lovely little adventure. Amanita got some of the best design work in gaming period.
super fun puzzle game with really interesting story and animation style. Cozy, fun, wonderful soundtrack, ten out of ten
Wild cosmic joyride where you dive headfirst into a world of quirky space critters and mind-bending puzzles. It's like the game designers decided to mash up a fairytale with a splash of alien madness—totally off the charts! The visuals are so trippy!
The most ambitious entry in the series and it is wonderfully executed! The artstyle is just as quirky as before building a marvelous world to explore. I love the silent protagonists and that hints and instructions are given by visuals. It is by no means an easy game, following the point and click genre perfectly with interesting logic and great sense of humor. The first one was around 20 min, the second around 45 min and this one took me around 3h. Strongly recommend!
It's a beautiful game, it's really charming and I love all the musicality to it (like the spirits you get becoming an instrument in some fun musical sequencer). Really glad I tried it out after playing Machinarium.
Incredible game. Thanks for supporting Ukraine❤
Samorost 3 is an absolute masterpiece! The art style is breathtaking, the puzzles are clever and engaging, and the music is magical. I also want to sincerely thank Amanita Design for supporting Ukraine during these difficult times.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
Very atmospheric game! As if it was my extraordinary dream) Special thanks for supporting Ukraine!
Best game, thank you, and thank you for being human.
Very nice and calm game, thank you for the support of Ukraine from all the people <3
I played a lot of Amanita games when I was really young and I remember seeing that this game was in development and wishing I could play it. I recently found it again and am so so happy that I got to finally play it, it's so nostalgic. The music is so beautiful, the art is amazing, and most of all, the little elephant / mammoth guy in the card game is the cutest thing ever.
🌌 A Unique Cosmic Masterpiece – Samorost 3
★ ★ ★ ★ ★ (10/10)
If you're looking for a game that steps beyond the ordinary, offers true aesthetic pleasure, and awakens a childlike sense of wonder — Samorost 3 by Amanita Design will be a magical discovery.
🔭 Gameplay & Exploration
The game is a whimsical journey where you guide a tiny space gnome through surreal worlds using a magical flute. Samorost 3 contains no conventional dialogue or text — everything is conveyed through symbols, sounds, and animations. This makes the game highly intuitive and accessible, while still rich in depth.
Each planet is unique, with its own ecosystem, soundscape, logic, and secrets. The puzzles are never too difficult, yet always creative, logical, and fun. Most importantly — they never feel repetitive.
🎨 Visual Style
The visuals are pure magic. They blend realistic textures with surreal collage art, crafting a living fairy tale you’ll want to dive into. Every frame feels like a painting, every object like a tiny piece of art. The love and attention to detail are palpable in every pixel.
🎼 Sound & Music
The sound design is simply divine. Environmental noises, quirky creature voices, musical puzzles, and the enchanting flute melody — all contribute to a unique, immersive atmosphere. The soundtrack perfectly complements the emotional tone of the game and is worth listening to even outside of gameplay.
🌱 Atmosphere & Impressions
Samorost 3 is more than a game. It’s a journey, a meditation, a wordless fable. It relaxes, inspires, makes you think, and brings a smile to your face. Perfect for winding down in the evening and immersing yourself in a world of wonder and tranquility.
🙏 A heartfelt thank you to Amanita Design for their public and courageous support of Ukraine during these dark times.
Amazing, beautiful game with a captivating visual style. Two trash bags 'Mindsweeper' and 'Heather' are a joke :D
Cute aesthetic and interesting puzzles.
I played Samorost way back in the Kongregate days and thought it looked neat but there wasn't much game there. I think my sister bought me Samorost 2 here on Steam, though I may be wrong about that, but regardless, I didn't really care for that. it was very short for a premium game and the art was about the same as Samorost 1. In neither case were the puzzles worth mentioning since there were all click on everything that is clickable then find out if you progress. But THIS GAME is GREAT. It has so much more to show than Samorost 2 and the puzzles finally feel more like puzzles. Part of why this is possible now, is because the game does more to tell you what the goal of the area is rather than just let you find out when it happens. The environments have a lot more diversity and detail too. I like the universe which at times reminds me of The Little Prince or Fantastic Planet (La Planete Sauvage) and even a bit of the works of my favorite animator, Jan Svankmajer, I say it reminds me of these things, but it is still very much it's own thing.
After a kind of neat first game, and a disappointing second game, finally there's one that's highly recommended. And I probably wouldn't have found this out if the developers hadn't been supporters of Ukraine. I bought the game because it was on a sale where they gave all the profits to a humanitarian aid charity for Ukraine.
it was simply one of the best games i have ever played! i adore the style of samorost ever since 1st part and the puzzles are always so fun :) i truly do hope the developers will bring us more of this vibe and style because there is truly something whimsical about it
Samorost 3 is an absolute masterpiece in the realm of point-and-click adventures! This game stands out as one of the finest I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. The art is simply breathtaking, with intricately crafted prerendered backgrounds that transport you into a beautifully detailed world like no other.
What sets Samorost 3 apart is its unique approach of conveying its narrative without a single word, relying solely on stunning imagery to immerse you in its enchanting universe. Amanita Design has truly outdone themselves with this gem, showcasing their prowess in game development.
Embark on an incredible space adventure filled with mesmerizing puzzles that strike the perfect balance between challenge and immersion. The puzzle design is not overly difficult, yet it captivates you with its creativity and keeps you engaged throughout.
The sound design in Samorost 3 is nothing short of phenomenal, enhancing every moment of gameplay with its immersive and enchanting melodies. This game truly excels in creating a complete sensory experience that will leave you in awe.
In summary, Samorost 3 is a must-play for any avid gamer or fan of point-and-click adventures. It is a true work of art that seamlessly blends captivating visuals, engaging gameplay, and a mesmerizing soundtrack. Do yourself a favor and dive into this extraordinary world - you won't regret it!
Best
*Overwhelmingly positive*
I absolutely loved this game. It took me forever to finish all achievements, though. No regrets.
little guy
One of the most beautifully and artistically crafted games. Very inspiring work of art.
I love all your games though Machinarium, Creaks and Samorost 3 are just masterpieces.
Thank you Amanita Design team for all these beautiful games you make :)
Exciting game play. You need your brain to think and remember.
Looking at the screenshots I knew the game was going to be aesthetically pleasing. But I wasn't expecting animations and sound to be equally good. This game is exceptionally well made and it's clear a lot of love was poured in the making. Compared to Samorost 1 and 2, the story is much longer and the world is bigger. It even includes things to do apart from the main story.
There was one puzzle I never really understood. But apart from that one all puzzles are well designed meaning you have to understand the puzzle to complete it. Random clicks won't do the trick like in other point'n'click games. And if you get lost there's an in game guide book to help you.
Highly recommended even at full price!
It's very pretty, but not very interesting as an adventure game. Style over substance.
Must Play if you like Machinarium !!
Lovely game, very creative in the way how it express the story without a single word. Visual style which is pure art with the sounds and the music immerses you into a unique atmospheric world of natural-shamanic-style vibes
Beautiful game. The atmosphere is completely unique, it feels like I smoked salvia, everything from the sound design to the visual elements is radiating with the amount of love the devs put into it, there's just so much creativity behind the whole thing. Samorost 3 is the greatest puzzle game I've ever experienced and it reminds me of playing freddy fish on those old shitty dell pre-builts. Worth the $20,
Beautiful graphics, unique puzzles, great sound design. Slow-paced.
Note that my irl playtime is about an hour less than recorded. I unfortunately had to spend quite a bit of time troubleshooting a bug where achievements weren't popping, despite them being acknowledged in-game. Turns out that the fix was as simple as whitelisting the game in your antivirus, if you have a similar issue to mine, but it's unfortunate that after all that I ended up putting this game on the backburner for as long as I did.
The Samorost series is consistently a delight: beautiful artwork and sound design, just generally very wholesome with a direction that gives off a whimsical fantasy feel. The first game is free and 15mins of your time. The next game a little longer where I clocked in at about an hour, and this one, with all my fumbling and completionist-brained secret-finding, took 6x that time. There were even some events that were post-game, which is a great touch to add in this genre. You'll most likely need a guide or two, but that's the only complaint that I can imagine.
An absolutely fantastic Amanita game! Like all other Amanita games, this just stays with you - the art, the vibes, the soundtrack (Floex is the best composer in the world).
I havent completed it yet, but i can say already that its not my favorite from all of the 3 Samorost games.
I dont like the new design they did on the little guy and i can see that they made it like Machinarium and not like other Samorost games, But i like that they made it fullscreen.
Edit: i finished the game and i really liked it, 9/10.
Late game was so much cooler and more enjoyable than the start.
Magnificent and beutiful.
music, art, sound design, creative
Concentrated samorost, just like previous parts, but longer and higher budget. Super creative, cozy, unique style and imagination of the developers. True work of art, if you enjoy chill highly stylized exceptional experience - game is worth every cent.
funnnneeeeeee sock mahhhhnnnnnn happpeeeee :)
Fun game with nice music and art.
This game is so cute, so beautiful, and so soothing. Although I admit there were some sections where I got stuck and had to consult an external walkthrough guide, I'd still recommend it 100% for the experience!
Perfect ADHD game
unique, fun, heartfelt
I loved this series, hope we can have Samorost 4 one day. You should play these if you like point & click adventure games. 8/10
This is a much expanded version in length, puzzles, and graphics than the previous 2. I don't know why I've always hold this series at heart but I do. I like how most sound are done with mouth and the weird concept, don't know why I waited so long to return to this. I've quite enjoyed their other games too, they just set themselves apart I guess..!
