A short, but nice point & click adventure game. I like the style, graphics and puzzles, and enjoyed from start to finish!

10/10 story

This one was a little more challenging than the first one. Some of the timing is really tricky but it was a nice step up in difficulty without losing the chill point and click browser-style game vibes.

Neat little game, pretty short but interesting puzzles to solve. Little hard to see some stuff on the Steam Deck. Was able to figure most of it out without any guide. Got a long HDMI to C cable to play on the big screen. Unfortunately the cable is pretty thick so have to be careful with the USB-C port. Might have to make something with my 3D printer to hold the cable so as not to hurt the port.

Not sure if it was familiarity or just the game, but was more fun than the first. Will see if the 3rd is even more fun.

A game filled with charm and wackiness. The puzzles are slightly more complicated, with some relying on timing. The art's great as always.

I also like that there's a bit more story to Samorost 2: Save your dog and find a way back home!

A great game from great developers. An interesting, sad and at the same time funny story about friendship. The game is beautifully drawn and sometimes you can just sit for a few minutes looking at the details. I definitely recommend it for passing.

I learned about the game from streamer JesusAVGN (Twitch) and was pleasantly surprised that the developers are directing funds to help people affected by the war.

I am shocked by the Russian reviews where they call Ukraine "terrorists," even though the real terrorists are those who launch rockets at peaceful cities. Russia attacked Ukraine, and because of those who wrote such hateful reviews, I can't even sleep peacefully at night. People are suffering here, and any help is incredibly important.

I have nothing against reasonable Russians who do not support aggression against Ukraine. But seeing people boycott a game just because its creators are helping war victims is pure absurdity.

This was a very nice sequel to a charming game. Even though it's more than double the playtime of the first game, I do think it's still a little bit bare for $4.99. I got it on sale for $1.49, and I think that's a much fairer price considering the playtime and simplicity of the game. It does add slightly more challenge than the first game, which is great, but other than that, there's not that much more on offer. I still recommend it, especially if you enjoyed the first game.

Adorable little continuation of the first one. Really nice artstyle and clever moon logic solutions to things, just as you expect from these type of games. Around 30-45 min play time.

It's a cute little puzzle game! The whole game is not that long at all, but it has a delightful soundtrack and charmingly curious visuals.

A good hour and a half of fun, I'd say! Only wish it was a bit longer.

Charming game, a touching story of a boy and his dog performed in a unique artistic style

Short and kind of pointless, but it's also undeniably a fun game. I loved the surreal atmosphere and the creative mix of photos and hand drawn sprites.

I would say its better than the first one, but the first one wasnt that laggy and was easier.

Such a cute game, I loved the little puzzles. And the soundtrack was soo addicting.

Play Samorost 1 first and see if you like it. If you enjoy it you will have fun playing Samorost 2 as well.

Still the nice art and idea.

I loved every minute of this and can't wait until i can afford Samarost 3!! Despite a few bugs all of them were fixed with either a chapter restart or game restart. Beautiful aesthetic and phenomenal background design.

A point-and-click game set in a mysterious world.
This is a story about a main character's dog is kidnapped by a mysterious alien and he goes to rescue his dog.
The world is unique, and all of the creatures and landscapes that appear are mysterious.
The story is really short, and once you've memorized the strategy it takes less than 30 minutes to play.
The screen is small and some parts are hard to see, but you can enlarge it by right-clicking.
It's OK as long as you can enjoy the mysterious atmosphere.

had to get my friend to come backseat for me while i played so i could have a couple extra braincells.
this game was so fun though and loved the art and i felt smarter by the end (i was probably dumber tho)

A good step up from the first game. You should give this one a try if you liked the first game. It's takes about 1 hour to finish this one. Liked it, 8/10

yayy another super charming samorost game! this one was longer than the first which i love but it was also a bit harder.. i had trouble getting the timing right in some puzzles and knowing when the ship was fuelled in the end lolz but it was still such a great fun little game. they added a dog in this one and it was so cute!!! i love spending time in this world a lot, it's so wonderful and the creators should be very proud. not sure if i prefer the first game or this one so far. while obviously very short the original is definitely more calming for me because it's more about simply exploring. so it's got a stronger feel good vibe to it compared to this one which has dog nappers 😧 but all in all a seriously good game !

amazing art and funky sound design, you get much more of this with Botanicula and Samorost 3

highly reccomend the full Samorost series along with Botanicula and Mechanarium for anyone who likes puzzle games and this art style, I got these in the steam winter sale but it still would have been worth the full price

This game is what got me into point and click games as a genre. While I'm sad to see that it's marred by some weird technical issues that really ought to be fixed, Samorost 2 always has had a special place in my heart, and it is an excellent puzzle game for kids, provided you know to restart the game when it breaks

Just finished Samrost 1, so figured I'd play the sequel since it's also not that long. However, since this game is about 4 times the length of the previous one, there are more levels included. The puzzles themselves were also a bit more challenging, as I admit I had to look up a walkthrough closer to the end.

Overall, I like the art style of this game, just like the previous. Looking forward to the third one eventually!

A sweet point and click game about a gnome and hist dog; not sure if I played it to completion back in the day although I remembered parts of it. Style is beautiful. Fun to revisit it with achievements.

What started to be a lovely game, turned into a bug nightmare by midgame with buttons only working when restarting the level. And then they dont not work at all. Doublechecked a playthrough video to see that it's not my fault, it's the programming. Even if the game would receive a generally positive review, can't finish the story, therefore it's a negative experience.

Great game , very interesting tasks and puzzles. Sad about that it takes 20 min. to complete but at least samorost 3 is fully packed up with content.

A charming little puzzle game, and a great successor to the original Samorost.
Fun and interesting puzzles and a weird and wondrous visual style, what more could you ask for?

If you tried out and liked the first game, I'd recommend getting this one as well. There are a lot more puzzles, new characters, and two new planets. Even though this game costs money (unlike the free first installment), I feel like it's worth it, especially since it's only $5 (USD). The music is great, the backgrounds are even more beautifully designed than the last game, and the puzzles are much more expanded upon. (Also works fine on Steam Deck, using the trackpad).
