RWBY: GRIMM ECLIPSE is a 4 player, online co-op, hack and slash game based upon Rooster Teeth’s international hit series RWBY.Get ready for intense combat action as you battle Grimm across familiar locations of Remnant including new areas never before seen in the show. Play as Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Yang in this character-driven adventure that explores new storylines, new Grimm types, and a new villain!
The fast paced, hack and slash gameplay takes inspiration from games such as Dynasty Warriors, combined with team play elements from Left 4 Dead, to create over-the-top, co-op combat along with engaging missions and storytelling.

Go woke go broke.
this is the best game i've ever played
I didn't give this game enough credit when I bought it. It's really entertaining. The only thing is it's not intuitive at all and you have to learn all the controls and fight options like RB to counter but it only works if you're at a distance. A Tutorial would have been good. You also can't pause the game as it's still playing in the background.
Rwby and Blake I'd smash can't lie

Forgot I bought this way back in the day. I had plenty of fun playing this with friends that also liked the RWBY series.

I only play this game as a time waster, but if you're not a RWBY fan, you probably won't have a very great time with this game. And even then, I know RWBY fans who lose interest in this game fast. Campaign is a super mediocre bare bones story with easy but repetitive gameplay that doesn't feel very rewarding. Enemies are fairly straightforward, and not that engaging besides maybe the final fight if you even feel like getting there. I recommend the horde or guantlet mode at that point, especially if you're just looking to achivement hunt. There's much better hack and slash games you can play, and even out of curiosity, I wouldn't recommend buying this game full price.

Storyline is pretty good and love the character's artwork is pretty spot on to the series :)
Game for RWBY fans. I think it is decent, if a bit repetitive at times. And learning the controls can take some getting used to. Recommend.

amazing game, 5 stars cannot recommend enough for rwby fans, especially with how little content there is during the time where v10 still isnt confirmed
The game is fun, not doubts about that. But with the limitations of levels and a lack of a decent skill tree makes it not very fun for repeated play. There aren't any varying combo between characters, as each character has the same sort of combo route, that being LLLL, LLLH, LLH and LH. There are no classes in it, ie Tank, range, etc.
Some enemies are quite difficult, such as the red robots who are relatively fast.
There are only 8 characters to play as in this game, Team RWBY and Team JNPR. Would have been interesting to play as others like Team CFVY or Team SSSN but regardless, it is still fun.
I absolutely love this game! All though its from 2016, I do wish it was updated with slightly better graphics but that's besides the point. It's a pretty fun game to play and I heavily recommend you try it for yourself.

I played this game a lot in my freshman year of high school when I was super into rwby (late 2019) and I really enjoyed it and played it with some friends. Revisited it half a decade later and while I still enjoyed it, I believe most of it is nostalgia. Its set between what i think is the 2nd and 3rd volumes of the show. It being set between this time is a huge benefit to the game because it has all the characters and their personalities are their season 2 ones, which is when I think the show peaked. The gameplay itself is very barebones, the game is a hack and slash and I dont particularly play to many of those. The game is too easy, there was one level i beat the boss without even taking damage by just spamming my ranged attack from long range. The game has some bugs and glitches but they arent really detrimental to the gameplay. I had fun with it mostly but I cant say its a game i recommend to everyone. Id say if youre a huge rwby fan (especially early rwby) then go for it because it's really enjoyable seeing the old personalities of the characters again. If you want a simple quick (around 5 hours total) hack and slash for 20 bucks this game is also a good choice. If you havent seen rwby and/or dont like hack and slash games then I wouldnt recommend because this game really doesnt bring anything new to the genre and isnt a must play by any means. Overall I had fun but thats only because I like the show and the characters. 6/10
