NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja STORM 4

i played this game for 1 month straight, i finished the story mode, almost finished the adventure mode, and was going to play the gaara one now, but obviously, the dlc just had to be broken, and i had to delete all my data, so, if anyone is reading this before buying the game, ONLY BUY THE GAME, DO NOT BUY THE DLC, ANY OF THEM, CAUSE BANDAI DOESNT WANNA PUT MONEY INTO FIXING THIS FUCKASS GAME

To get the DLC back, opt out of Steam Beta close steam client and restart it. Opt back into steam beta and Launch the game. This worked for me and i got the dlc working again

Its fun with friends also when you do the story its fun just takes a day or two but its fun borutos tale is trash i only bought it for the characters for free battle if you get borutos tale for the story you got scammed lets be fr.

did anyone know how to adjust the resolution? i cannot open my app, it stuck on launch phase after i adjust the msaa

Just like a lot of us im missing my dlc content i paid for, I see it has something to do with the steam client update? if you also have this issue id advise to leave a comment and report to help the community get this fixed. godspeed

Well, I can't recommend this game anymore. Not because it's bad. It's great! But a Steam update broke DLC validation for this specific game somehow, apparently, so you don't get to use any of the DLC you own for it.

To make things worse, if you try to load the game with an old savefile from back when the DLC worked, the game will tell you you have to **delete the save** and start over to continue.

This shit sucks but I guarantee that BADGAI SCAMCO will never put forth the money and effort to fix it unless GabeN himself demands it.

New Terms and agreement update RUINED the game. Once I agreed (the only way to actually play the game) my game data was WIPED! Years of it. Story characters are not there, DLC (which I already paid for) are not there either...I will NOT be going through the story again. No, BANDAI, I will not be buying the crappy connections game either.

The Bad:
The Story mode is really Bad, so I will ask what happened? Ultimate Ninja STORM 3 had the best storytelling why wasn't it continued like this? Instead, we got this really CHEAP slide show for the story (Really?). Visually, this game looks very good, but the special effects were simply overdone, and sometimes you can't even make out what's happening on the battlefield. The facial animations also look ridiculous at times when they pull such inhuman faces. Lip synchro is also awful, but every storm game had bad lip synchro to begin with.

The Good:
The only really good thing about the game is that it's the best Naruto Storm combat system. I think they've perfected it in this game. The new feature that lets you swap characters during battle is very good. Less chakra consumption for ultimate jutzu and the defensive dodge make the combat system much smoother.

Fazit: If u don't mind the Story, and your only care about the gameplay then this game is for you. This is hands down the best Naruto Battle System (Storm 1-4). But if u want A much better value of your money and storytelling is important for you, Storm 3 is overall the best game (it covers the Five Kage Summit arc) with a slightly worse combat system.

PS: I would Rank this game at mixed review instead of negative, but we don't have this option on Steam.

Yeah it's fucking cool, online is a bit weird, but playing with friends is perfect because the inputs are simple and it's relatively easy to pick up and play

This game is amazing played it on console for a long time but on PC i would NOT reccomend buying it it poorly optomized so even on the best systems it runs like crap unless you lower the resolution the server is barley stable you get into a match and crash for 0 reason even tho good ping from both sides the population is little to none so good luck finding a match id say buy it on console and play there the experience is better overall hpefull the fix these good awful PC port...

This was the last great "ultimate ninja storm" chapter. I loved every moment while playing it, the multiplayer was smooth and balanced, improved from the previous chapter, but the story mode was where this chapter really shined, it is epic from the start to the end and the cutscenes, especially the interactive ones are fire. And the extra stories about Gaara were worth. It is sad to see where the latest Naruto games are heading. Look no further, you found what you were looking for.

Runs great on steam deck, you just need to change the resolution to fit the screen.

If you don't want to unlock characters and costumes by playing through the story mode, you can download a save file from the internet (like from Nexus mods, for example) that will have things unlocked.

Always need to repair game document then can start to play, so waste time, and when change the settings, after it done, game will crash, tired of playing this useless game. FAK U

Esse jogo é incrível sem defeitos, eu facilmente passaria o dia inteiro jogando ele se eu tivesse tempo, o modo história tem umas fases horriveis de conseguir rank S pra platinar mas todo o resto é INCRÍVEL, o multiplayer (online e local), as animações dos ultimates, cutscenes em geral, perfeitas, mecanica da gameplay, eu amo esse jogo, to só esperando platinar.

Game is fun, preferably purchase under sale. DLC has locked some neat characters but are at a reasonable purchase during sale if you genuinely love the character. Combat is pretty simple and easy to play although it could use some more game mechanics. The game has its moments such as special finishes, combat immersion in story mode to name a few. I give the game 7/10

The Story mode in this game is probably the best way to experience the worst part of the Naruto series.

Honestly, I think the abrupt ending of Ninja Storm 3 is better than the real ending of Naruto - but if you're looking to suffer through that, then playing Ninja Storm 4 is probably at least a bit better than reading the drawn-out manga or watching the even more drawn-out anime.

I'm usually not a big fan of these arena fighters that have a lot of characters that all play mostly the same, but I actually found Ninja Storm 4 pretty fun to play, and some of the characters are actually a lot different from others.

Where Dark Souls demands mastery and One Piece embraces the adventure spirit, Ninja STORM 4 just throws shiny nonsense at you and calls it a game. In short, it’s the filler arc of fighting games—loud, flashy, and ultimately forgettable.

But for real though, with the exception of Dragon Ball games (which I won’t comment on since I haven’t played or looked into them enough), most anime games are honestly trash—either super underdeveloped or just lazy Ninja Storm clones. It’s sad, but a lot of them feel like blatant cash grabs with stale gameplay and no real soul behind them.

Naruto games, though? They’re the rare exception. They actually deserved to be good because they offered something meaningful—an alternate way to relive the story in a really immersive and engaging way. And I’m not just talking about the six Ninja Storm games—even older titles like Naruto: Rise of a Ninja had some seriously creative and unique ideas that went beyond the usual formula.

Across the franchise, you can feel the passion in so many of the games. They may not have the complex mechanics of something like Tekken, but as co-op couch fighters, they were top-tier—especially with a roster of over 100 characters to mess around with. It was fun, accessible, and packed with love for the source material.

By 2017, Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm was already the third best-selling fighting game franchise of all time, right behind Mortal Kombat and Smash Bros. even now it still is the the most sold anime game ever. And honestly, it deserved that spot. It wasn’t just riding on the anime’s popularity—it earned it by being a genuinely fun, memorable experience that stood out in a sea of low-effort anime titles.

Great game despite its flaws. I highly recommend playing with the Evolution mod if you want to take part in the competitive Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 community.

UNS4e is arguably the best Naruto fighting game out there, with the exception of SNCON4, but that's a mod for a gamecube game and you can't get it here on Steam.

Seriously, this game is intuitive enough to pick up with absolutely no fighting game experience, and while the simplified control scheme lowers the skill ceiling, it also means that your hypothetical little cousin who just got into Naruto can play it without rage quitting.

There is one problem that i had. I have a 2560 *1600 resolution screen. And the game doesn't support this screen size.. What will happen to this screens is that you will have a black empty borders on the top and the bottom. This is really sick.

best naruto game no diff. it has the best part of the story and if you have the expasion with boruto it's even better

Hellish Quart, Absolver, Sparking Zero, Soul Cal, SWBF2 + SWJKA all got it spot on.

Stop taking away mechanics and combos, we have a third of what should be there.
Stop giving us a different broken-up version of the story, make one game with a focus on the story, like DBZ does with their games.

The soundtrack could have been leagues better, and the animation is fine for its time, but after connections, you are still making worse games across the board.

People's fav chars are getting cropped out too, just make one game with a full roster and full move sets. Modders generally do a better job, learn from them cus there is only so much we can do to make these games playable.

The game has a fun and sometimes addicting storyline and has alot of fun characters with cool combinations but there isnt really to many you can do. It gets a bit boring after you complete the story and chapters

It's a fun arena fighter, and it's pretty easy to pick up.

Cool recreation of the last part of Naruto with iconic moments remade in the game. However I do not like the fact that half the cut scenes in the story are just pictures with dialogue. Other than that its a pretty good game. 8/10

My control button is like lag something like that,because if i press the butten or move it for the game modes or something else it will be press automatic 2 times. for example i am choosing game mode=first free battle mode 2.Adventur 3.Storymodus and if i want to play adventur it will jump to free battle or storymodus

Great game a little tricky when you first play for PC im not sure about controler but still Great game you should try it atleast 1 time in your life and you can even get mods for boruto apparently i hop its true since i just finished the normal story line

Just finished the content from the base game with out S ranking everything. Honestly the game goes through the whole series. It might not use all the events in the story mode but it does place battles in a type of memory mode. It goes on sale alot with the dlc. I dont really want to play the dlc atleast not now, just because I am getting bored of the battles. Its a game where its good to space out the content instead of burn yourself out trying to get everything. If you like the series , its worth having in your library
