With a simple one click/key jump system, you’ll need fast reactions, cunning timing and nerves of steel to reach the safety of the Parallel checkpoints and save your game progress.
Don’t be deceived, Parallels is a relatively chilled out puzzle escape platforming experience, but let your guard down and it becomes brutally hard to find the way out!

I am 32 years old.
My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old.
When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing.
Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side.
With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay.
After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like.
Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends.
Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together.
Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that.

This is a super cool game but one thing I wish that the jump button was space not j but other than that it was worth $1
Despite the claims to otherwise, this game is actually a runner and with the lack of overall progress perception, it might as well be an endless runner. In addition, the default controls are VERY poorly optimized for controller play. The devs also have a poor understanding of game flow, otherwise, you wouldn't be booted back to the title screen and have to go through multiple clicks to get started again every time you die. This is the type of game I'd expect to see in the free shovelware category of mobile games. X(
Worst game of this type ever. Its like some shitty rage game. There is only ona map, where u have one life, and if crashed have to start from the beggining. Its not fun at all.
Biggest complaint: the checkpoints aren't closer together. Soundtrack was tight. But I cannot progress past this one point. (And, frankly, I've grown a little weary of the repetitiveness granted by my lack of progression.)
Big time waster and takes you're 5 dollars
Awesome game is awesome! Just play it for some super chill gameplay and awesome soundtrack.
-get through level 1 in a heartbeat
- wow, that was super easy
- can't beat level 2
- try for an HOUR and still can't get closer than the 400 marker
- finally I make it through. the finish line is in sight
- commence premature celebration initiative "jump for joy"
- overjump and my ball explodes against the side of a wall half an inch from the finish line
- tearfully click "restart" and spend another thirty minutes on level 2
As a former addict of the many online arcade games on netives, I both love and hate this game. The levels aren't easy, so there's a real sense of satisfaction when you completethem. However, the levels aren't easy, so there's also a real sense of SADisfaction when you fail twenty times in a row. Sorry about the pun, it's a coping mechanism.
If there's one tweak I'd suggest, it would be a second or two of celebration after completing a level, rather than abruptly being thrust into the next level with no fanfare. Come on, game designers, stroke our pathetic egos.
I can see how this game could be rage inducing. However, it is quite fun and has a very enjoyable soundtrack. Simple concept and gameplay, but not the easiest thing in the world.
