Great RTS much better than SH3 This game and 2 are neck and neck for my favorite. 3 campaigns with a great soundtrack and tons of content with a semi active multiplayer.

Moving from stronghold crusaders the original game to stronghold extreme edition to stronghold legends this game is a lot more fun than expected it is jam-packed with unique missions compared to stronghold extreme edition where you have abilities in this game you have dragons witches demons and other type of fantasy creatures on top of controllable unique Heroes with different lures and styles and unique abilities. I'd recommend anyone to this game that is a stronghold veteran, stronghold fan, and anyone just getting into RTS and or Strategy games. There's a lot here but not overwhelming 9/10. I just wish there were DLCs that I can buy to help support and play more of this.

This game is really challenging and it takes a lot of practice to be good at this game. It is like the older version of stronghold legends but there are dragons, giants and other myth creatures. The most difficult achievement is the multiplayer you need to defeat 3 human players and it is not easy to find people to help you with it. The most tedious achievement is that you need to play this game for 240 hours (10 days) to get it. I hope everyone enjoy this game and have fun.

I haven’t played this game since 2011 I had a weird memory the other day about how much fun it was playing this game as a kid I reinstalled it and played it nonstop for four hours it brought me back to the good old days in my childhood it’s so fun please give us a updated version of this masterpiece

God i love stronghold

I like the layout of the game, you can see whats going on throughout the map and it's an aerial view along with being able to zoom in and out. the graphics are pretty good and there's alot implemented into it. The game has alot of thought put into what goes on as far as the era of the game and what you can do to build or strengthen your castle and the different things you need to have a thriving economy.
I do wish the game would let you build better homes for your people and were able to produce more people and continuously produce more stuff with multiple stockpiles along with being able to control what happens in neighboring allied cities. I also wish the AI enemies would build more of an army that just a few troops that run off and scout out your castle instead of build more for themselves in the free play mode so they're not so easy to take down when you challenge them in their territories and be able to see what your siege equipment can really do because building siege equipment seems irrelevent if you can't bombard a castle that doesn't exist, making it very easy and boring to takeover after spending hours building your own castle and perfecting your own armies.

Good solid magic stronghold game.

Stronghold got worse with each more modern installment and this was the pinnacle.

Fix bugs. Soldiers sometimes go to the walls! Air units take damage from ground fire! The online gameplay speed is slow, and we cannot set allowed units.

My review is Mixed. Liked the Skirmish, but didn't like the campaign. pushed the "Like" button, because don't want the game to have a bad rating

1. Campaign:

The campaign (except for "Evil" hard) was not interesting and didn't offer any challenge

Skirmish were OK, had fun.

after all these years still one of the best games ever

Its quite enjoyable but misses being recommended due to its poor balancing. Some levels are just pure unfair. Troop AI routing is also weak, meaning you're easily frustrated.
