Funny little game that almost kills all my patience. It's too cute, but at the last level, I was ready to kill everyone around. Definitely will play it again later and recommend it to everyone.
I saw Stars of the Trash and loved the style. When I looked for another game from the developer I found this game.
I actually just bought it after finding it.
After 4hours I completed it 100%. I love that the main menu changes after finding the collectables in the game. The style is beautiful and I love the animations. The Boss fights are... intresting, but I don't enjoyed them because of the flimsy controls. For example: I have to make a longer jump and try to press jump near the edge, but when I'm too near the edge the cat just jumps strait downwards. That killed me many times. The last level is very frustrating because You have to absolve an jump and run part without getting catched. You have to be really fast to solve this. Mistakes are deadly in this section.

- a bit too short (for the normal price in my opinion. The fact with the charity weights this up)
- controls are flimsy (jumping feels clunky and it's hard to find the right pxel for climbung spots)
- the boss fights are frustrating and could be skippable
- cut scenes or some texts should be skippable (it's also okay because they're not too long)
All in all a cute little game with own strenghts and weak points. I'm looking forward to the next game.
This is a very simple and cute game! Some levels tested my patience a little, but that's only because I'm not very good at platformers. The game has a nice story and looks beautiful. I'm very happy with it, and I'll definitely play it again several times.
Those jump are roughly as precise as Trump's financial plan...

Bought this because Kimchi looked almost exactly like our cat, but the controls are bad and I gave up pretty early. I wish this was better.
The Purring Quest is a good platform game where you play as a cat thru 5 chapters: a cemetery, a village, a gothic quarter, a city and skyscrapers. It's funny, the drawing graphics are nice and the ambiant is great. I recommend it!!! 💗🐈💗

An emotional journey of a pet cat, very humorous writing and challenging yet fun platformer game. Controls are sometimes clunky but it's bearable. You can slap mouses and have to sneak past dogs to reach your destinations. Recommended to purchase on a sale.

graphically, it's cute and pretty, but it controls like an absolute nightmare. jumping momentum is inconsistent, and you instantly pass out from falling too far, despite BEING A CAT.
it's lovely that profits from the game go to charity for cats, but the game itself is flawed.
I won't deny that it has a lot of heart, but I can't recommend it for its gameplay.
This game is terrible, controls on keyboard suck and you can't change them. Only got this game because of a stupid pack so now I'm trying to get all the achievements in a ton of crappy games.
Another case of a game that the developers never played nor tested.
I have played Free Armor Games & Free Flash Games in 2007 that are better that this.
Better in many shapes & ways.
The staring & ending story is so bad, I cringed.
The menu & settings are an enormous disaster.
If you what to change the language, or the JUMP a CORE mechanic of the game... you need to close the game and relaunch.
None skyppable intro nor cut-scenes. The JUMP is the absolute worst of them all, a jumping game with a none working jump coding. ALL and I mean ALL of my deads where because the game killed me, not because the enemy. (I tried all the jumping options and all of them are horrible)
The developers knew the game will kill you more than the levels & enemy, that they give you infinite lives to compensate for their complete incompetence.
As cute as the story is, the controls are too clunky. It's impossible to control and you end up having to re-do a lot of areas not because you're bad at platformers, but because you can't aim since each jump ends up being different since you seem to slide when you stop. The high jump option doesn't work at all and double jump is clunky and some of the boss fights are terribly designed.
the game controls cannot be changed in the game, only the window before it opens so if you need to change controls you have to quit and lose some progress. the double jump is very hard to control and i end up falling off the platforms, and the high jump option does nothing.
