A new adventure awaits
Originally released in 1997 as Little Big Adventure 2 or Twinsen's Odyssey, Twinsen’s Little Big Adventure 2 Classic is a memorable action-adventure game that stole many players’ hearts with its charm, quirkyness and humour.
After saving the planet, Twinsen and Zoé live a happy and peaceful life on Citadel Island when new trouble arises. Aliens from the planet Zeelich land on Twinsun and strange things start to happen. Who are these Esmers? Are they friends or foes? Twinsen needs to put on his Ancestral Tunic once again and investigate. With the help of his friend Jeróme Baldino and fiancée Zoé, he needs to become a wizard, level up his magic, fly into space and uncover ancient mysteries that threaten both Twinsun and Zeelich!

The grumpy aliens in this game are so friggin' cute, I hope 2.21 will keep them that way in the remake (especially the emperor, he's a silly skrunkly guy)
This game is pure nostalgia and even after all those years it is still beautiful.
Shortly: just play it, you will not regret it, even in 2024. Its one of the best games ever.
I played this game first time when I was probably like 5-6, something like that, so around 2000ish. I was, and still am, living in Estonia and at that time, in close post-soviet era, there really wasnt many games around that time... even not many computers or consoles as a matter of fact. Luckily, my dad had some buddies from USA (or some other foreign country, cant really remember) and through those connections we managed to get a computer for whole family. You know, a clunky old box with a monitor built in. This game also came along with this purchase. So, I watched my dad play the game, I watched my mum play the game (to my knowledge for her still yhe only PC game she ever played) and once I was big enough to use PC myself, me and my brother played the game, sharing computer time with whole family and all... Good memories.
When I was young adult, say about 20 or so, I wanted to play this game again. I had the CD but my laptop couldnt play a game this old anymore. I tried emulator, but couldnt get it to work. I tried looking up a youtube playthrough, to satisfy my need for nostalgia, but couldnt find any. I couldnt even find a forum or something, where this game was discussed. Felt quite down.
Then randomly in 2024 (2 days before writing this) I once again remembered the game and started to google it. Found out, the game had found a second life, as it was uploaded to Steam, made complicable with modern PC-s and even had a remake. Immediatedly downloaded it and finished it in 2 days. The old memories man... It was like I was a kid again... I was in heaven for 2 evenings.
Now it might be a nostalgia speaking, and it definetly is a factor for me personally, but I must say, it is one of the best stories I have experienced in a game, especially if you take into consideration that its made in late 90s. I cant really say exactly what makes it so good, but even if its at times childish, its engaging all the way to the end. Also, the world feels alive, the NPCs for some reason dont seem to be brainless. Landscape, although small compared to todays open-world games, is interesting and in a way beautiful. It really feels like there was just regular life going on in the game. Way before its time. The controls were bad though, had to relearn how to play with arrow keys for example, but it doesnt take away from the overall experience.
Anyways, thanks to the devs and others, who resurrected LBA2 and I hope this franchise will continue to exist...perhaps a LBA3 some day, that will give this world proper justice and exposure it deserves in a modern game setting... Heres hoping

Good story, good quests, adequate difficulty, lovable characters and a beautiful message about hope and friendship.
If you haven't played it, just do it! It's not mandatory to play LBA 1 in order to play this one, and in many aspects, I think LBA 2 is way better than the first. Enjoy it!
I lost count of how many times I have finished this game back in the day. It came bundled up in a brazilian gaming magazine called "CD Expert" back in 1997.
I was obssessed, and even my brother was annoyed at how many times I asked him to reinstall the game for me every now and then (he'd uninstall it to make space lol).
Recently replayed this (as well as the first game) for the nostalgia and realized that I was much better at it as a kid.
La versione Classic è esattamente uguale a quella giocata nel 1994, una bella avventura, lineare e interessante invecchiata abbastanza bene.

This is the first video game I ever played in my life, I can't say in words how much I love this game and how many times I played it.... Everytime I want to jump back in to my chiildhood I play it and it"s always a great time! I'll never get tired of this game, it is timeless!
Perhaps the best game of all time. I love the amazing scope of the world, starting on a humble island and ultimately exploring very outlandish places. Looking forwards to the remake.

great classic
This game is a classic nostalgia trip for me. One of the first games I ever played and returning to it now it's still amazing. Charming adventure, great story challenging and fun. Everything a game should be for me. Highly recommended
