Об игре
Остров, на котором раньше жили пираты, теперь полностью во власти животных. Они пытаются сами вести фермерское хозяйство и добывать пропитание. Farm Frenzy: Heave Ho isn't really a proper game, it's just a lazy 2D browser/Flash-tier "number incrementer" game where the object of the game is to increase the in-game currency by clicking, and sometimes buying things that increase the rate at which your currency/score goes up. It's an incredibly shallow game loop, to the point you might as well just run a program that does "i=i+1; print i" and watch the numbers go up automatically, and just watch it. You'd get the exact same outcome. If this sounds completely mindless, you're not wrong. But there's some differentiation to the general incrementer theme here, as you're given levels and specific objectives to collect a certain number of things or click through a certain number of goals... but this is a very thin veneer over a very crappy game premise and a mediocre repetition of the old, dead theme.
The game has a family friendly farm-meets-cutesy pirate theme to finish the look of that thin veneer, but this seems almost predatory if you ask me. Games designed for children should have a little more to them than this shallow experience.
From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard.
There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. There's no way for gamers to try improve the low quality graphics.
The game features simple, cartoony 2D graphics, of the type you normally expect to see in low effort mobile apps. 3D graphics programming does require a degree of skill and competence and unfortunately not all developers have the budget or talent to deliver this, despite 3D graphics cards hitting the mainstream in the 1990's. Considering this is being evaluated as a PC game, having the graphics phoned in like this isn't going to result in a high quality, visually impressive game that PC gamers are used to seeing.
The controls can't be customised because the game has such a dumbed down, simplified interface that it's just iPhone screen tapping stuff. The fact that the interface is this dumbed down might be seen as a problem in itself, however... this is a fairly shallow experience if you're the kind of gamer that likes to play games with deep, rich control schemes and interaction. You'll get none of that here.
This looks and feels like a mobile app, but it doesn't seem to have made it to the app stores. It's unclear why this was put on Steam instead of the app stores it seems to have been designed for. Maybe it was removed, maybe it was rejected by Apple and Google (they do have more rigorous quality standards than Valve does for Steam, after all).
Regardless, for all intents and purposes Farm Frenzy: Heave Ho might as well be a mobile app, it has the same limitations and dumbed down qualities. It's impossible to recommend such a game to PC gamers. We don't spend all this money building gaming rigs so we can pretend they're iPhones and play games that might as well be mobile apps.
These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game.
Reviewing SteamDB to check how popular this game was with players reveals a surprise... there's a very healthy spike in player counts for the game. But this only appears around the same time that trading cards were applied to the game... so this is just card idlers getting their cards and moving on. A closer look at the numbers shows the game just has a couple of players every week running up the game and idling it for cards, then deleting it. We must ask how it benefits gamers for there to be so many games like this, with no merit as a serious game, that only generate sales from people idling and selling the trading cards.
Farm Frenzy: Heave Ho has the laughable, eye-watering price of around $5 USD, it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product. If this is the kind of game you really want to play, don't waste $5 on Steam, this kind of game can be had for free on mobile app stores.
Simple yet fun and addictive game. Nice graphics.

Relaxing Game and Enjoyable Game! If you want challenge, make every game into gold. You need to better plan a good strategy. If you have a girlfriend or wife that doesn't play difficult games then let her play this and she will enjoy it! You will get addicted that you will plan to absent of your work.
the game just got rid of all my progress during a unexpected update
This is a wonderful game for someone who wants to use less buttons and have more fun. I downloaded this for my mother and she loves it a lot. She obviously cant play fighting games so this serves the purpose. She loves the gameplay and the concept both. Also this game focuses more on the gameplay than the story which is great.
I loved Farm Frenzy games when I was a child, but this pirate island edition doesn't appeal to me.
I enjoy this game. A lot of multi-tasking and fast paced. I always find myself coming back to play any of them to beat my times.
this is a standard time management game; each level gives you a set of objectives like collecting a number of items and creating food dishes. You're only given so much time and money to purchase livestock and tend to your land, so you have to figure out a strategy on what to buy and sell and also keeping the animals out of the barnyard and picking up produce before it disappears. this can be challenging , especially if you're trying to get high score, but can also be relaxing if you're not worried about the score.
Good chill game, not so challenging if you are familiar with this type of games.

TBH this game is good and really fun
Farm Frenzy: Heave Ho is a good game for children.
The graphics are well-drawn, in a cute cartoon style.
The gameplay is easy to learn.
It's a time management game in which the player has to raise hens, collect eggs, make and sell produce, and stop some rascally animals from stealing the eggs.
It's all good clean fun for youngsters.
Been playing for a few weeks. Opened it today, "profile corrupted" and the save game was lost. Doesn't seem to sue Steam cloud stync, no help there either. And no save system you control to prevent this issue in the futute, Busted afaiac, don't buy.
The neat thing about this version is that you use tokens to purchase boosters that help you beat the level. It makes those more challenging levels easier to get a gold chest on. I may even be able to beat the entire game with all gold chests. The story is a little lame, probably done in a hurry and not thought out well. They make hamburgers from ham. I'd call that a ham sandwich. Graphics are bright and cheerful. Overall, I still like the game.
It could be better, but its addictive enough to keep you playing and its not boring. It has a mobile game feel to it but wierdly it only works on pc. I had a mobile version of it and it wasnt playable on small screen.
The game responds unreliably to mouse clicks: sometimes it takes one, sometimes two, for the game to think you've clicked on something. It's distracting, and frustrating if you care about level speed.
If it weren't for that, it looks like it'd be a fun new Farm Frenzy.

It's a relaxing Simulation game.
Interface/Menu/Settings.
You can have multiple different profile slots.
There is a sound volume slidebar available.
There is a music volume slidebar available.
You can play this Fullscreen or Window mode, however there is no way to change the resolution size.
About the game
You are on an crashed island with happy animals. You will have to be their dirty slave to make a farm for them. After you have grown a little farm and the animals are making production. You could click on this to store it into the warehouse. Whenever you need cash or the warehouse is getting too full, you could sell the items that are stored to get some gold to buy new animals or other things. Each level has a Gold-bronze cup and getting those gold cups will award you with bigger stars. Stars are needed to buy upgrades or buy new things in the shop. There are also awards/achievements ingame and completing those will grant you a coin/token which could be used in the slot machine to get boosters. Boosters could be used during a level to increase your chance of getting a gold cup. On higher levels wild happy animals will try to attack your farm and disrupt your plans. You can capture them, store them into the warehouse (which is taking alot of space) and then eventually sell them. Everytime something new comes in play, They will introduce the new thing and the pace will get slowed down. The pace will slowly increase up again.
Contains alot of levels.
There are ingame awards.
The game is well instructed.
Music is okay but has no variety... at all.
There is level selection available and you can simply replay the older levels again.
Graphics are okay.
There is a storyline.
Could be repetitive after awhile.
There is a time limit and if you complete it within a certain time limit. You will get a better reward.
Other things.
This reminds me from one of many games on most gaming websites. (Like Flash games)
You can Re-do the levels that you have completed before to get some Stars again.
They are always so happy, having big smiles... It scares me..
An easy way to get money is from the Spaghetti machine. So Egg -> Egg machine -> Egg flour -> Spaghetti machine -> Sell it -> 100 Gold profit. But why not Pasta? Well First you have to wait long, because it requires 3 steps to make it. Then u also need ketchup, which also will take time.. So if you sell those, you will only get 180 gold profit. Yes you get more.. But it takes longer. So in the long run, selling those spaghetti things will earn better.
