It's a fun casual strategy game, although my only issue would be the "hitbox" of different pockets when connecting valves and pipes.
Great game to simply chill. Fairly easy, quite entertaining.
My favourite part is trying to collect all the oil. I love trying to get all the achievements too. Fun game.

good game
Super fun little game about digging for oil and building your company. The upgrades and gradual addition of new things as you progress in the campaign makes for an experience that keeps you on your toes ready for anything. The computer opponents weren't very hard to out perform but I preferred it as it was relaxing but not roll over easy. Very much worth it when on sale.

The game runs slow and you have basically no freedom of approach
Very fun strategy game, can be overwhelming at times at the end of the game trying to focus on many things at once meaning you're never really waiting around hoping the price of oil goes up
It made me mad! I played 18 hours, I bought the DLC and played for a couple of hours.
Later in the same day the game won't start anymore. I reinstalled, restarted the computer a couple of times, but still dead :(
Huge disapointment as I can't even found a logs so no idea why the game won't start...
Turmoil is such a fun and relaxing game. I really love the idea of it and the base game isn't too hard to beat. It is also really fun on the ipad, but on the phone it is a bit small to play.

I've watched videos about turmoil for some odd years, and quite liked it! When I finally bought it, I pretty much no-lifed the campaign. Only issue I've had is the bots are inconsistent when bidding for shares in expert mode (64k for 1%???) and my dowsers like to find oil pockets I just drilled into. Otherwise, 10/10! So I suppose it's actually a 9/10.
game is fun unless you take out a 4 million dollar loan and forever entomb your future descendants to absolute poverty.
This game is fun, but has MANY PROBLEMS. One of the biggest ones is the fact the only way to get diamonds are through the use of moles. And these fuckers are DUMB. They WILL NOT for the life of them get the diamond. You can spend 10 FUCKING THOUSAND ON MOLES. And they will do everything BUT get the diamond. It's bullshit cause the ai can get diamonds like nothing cause, of course the game is working for them. I wanna like this game, but the moles are the reason I'm done with this game. Yeah you don't need the diamonds, but then what's the point of the moles? Or the diamonds? (I'm stupid)
Proof that good game design doesn't need bells and whistles. Immense fun.
have wanted to play it for like 2 years cuz of CaptainSauce. And when I got a P.C. for cristmas this was the first game I bought. It holds up to what I thought it was and wanted it to be and is sooooo fun
Fun, challenging, and feels like a polished flash game with a lot of love and care put into it! When I say a flash game I mean that in the way it is addicting yet very simple. Keep in mind I have no idea how the multiplayer plays let alone if anyone does play it. The game keeps you engaged for a long period of time like a game of civ or monopoly in the sense that the game.
Love the design of the game, I love the new upgrades as you progress. The only con is that it can get a little boring with then same routine in levels but this is helped out by new upgrades in each area.

its alr i guess, Multiplayer is buggy tho
This game is just too bugged, impossible to play. Every game play I face a bug where the characters stop doing something, our the oil stop coming, or the horses get stuck doing nothing. Simply impossible to play
theres nothing more i love than kicking natives off their land and claiming it as my own as we all know first come first served
this is a great game, i love it!!!! it feels like i can really use my autism to its full extent in this game! 10/10 5 stars love the game!

A very fun time management game which you can beat in an afternoon and has a lot of replay value. All I wish is that you could skip the stock auction as when you own >50% and have wayyyyy more money than the ai you have to wait a while for them to buy.

It's fun, but sometimes a bit easy. You can finish the campaign in or two sittings, so it's a nice palate cleanser inbetween bigger games.

You are a oil entrepreneur who is competing against 3 others over who becomes the next mayor of the town your in. Go around to different regions and drill for as much oil as you can get. Whoever owns the most shares by the end of the game wins and becomes mayor!
My Two Cent Review
I have been playing this game on and off since I was in high school years ago and I still play it on and off today. This is one of those games you can keep coming back to time and time again because it's always going to be a different run. You may get luckily and hit it big or run dry continuously and go bankrupt. You start off with a modest sum to get you up and going and have to budget for expedition costs, bribes, shares to become mayor, and upgrades. You can either play with AI or play with your friends as you all run your own respective oil harvesting companies competing with one another. The multiplayer is turn base with you all being able to take your time during your rounds but none of you may start the next season until everyone finishes there current season. It is also great to know at the time writing this the developers are still updating this game that came out in 2016 which was nearly 8 years ago as of time of writing which is insane! At the beginning of the game don't expect to make a lot but as you upgrade and invest more in bribes officials to keep fines low and prices high you will go far. All in all this is a very unique game that stands out as a fun competitive gold rush style game where ya either go big or go home.
The Value Of The Game
This game is worth getting on sale to play with friends. There will be plenty of fun to be had with friends as well as the AI if you aren't a big people person. It's a fun luck based strategy game where if ya play smart you'll go far.

it feels dirty how much i enjoy this game. i just bribe to get discounts on spillage without a second thought. does this make me a bad person? idk but it definitely takes money to make money and i make hudreds of thousands in this game.
The base game is fantastic, very enjoyable
