- Defeat monstrous machines!
- Throw your head to reach hidden locations and recover your body!
- Jump, creep, dodge, crawl... come on! Just reach the goal, no matter in what condition!
- 23 deadly, colourful obstacle courses filled with blades, hammers, lasers, acid, dog food and chicken.
- Unlockable challenges.
- Chicken, chicken, chicken, CHICKEN and Chicken!
Ed – the Participant
A few months ago, Ed won the „Candy Fun Marathon“ silver medal. Unfortunately he died a few minutes later from a heart attack.
For more than 4 days nobody found his body, rotting in a nearby field. As fate willed and for reasons unknown, Ed became the first undead. For days he aimlessly wandered around, finally being found by a young boy named Ben.
Ben – the Prize
He is just a normal boy. Well, he never had any good friends, but is fine with this. Ben always liked to roam the ruins and bleak fields around his neighborhood, where he one day discovered something unbelievable. Ed, an undead, walking around the dreary landscape. Ben chummed up with Ed and started to feed his new friend meat and dead animals he found. This went well, until Hans Showmaster heard of Ed.
Hans Showmaster – the Host
He is famous, rich, ruthless and the creator of countless successful Shows that brought joy and distraction to the poor population of a wasted, hopeless world. When he is informed about an undead, he creates a new format and abducts Ben to "persuade" Ed into his twisted new game show.

I FRICKING LOVE IT!!!
This game is absolutely rage inducing, but it also rewards you a lot, despite the levels possibly making you want to break everything in your setup, if you give this game time, it will make you feel so amazing after beating a really hard level
Ben and Ed is a quirky 3D platformer where you, as a zombie, tackle deadly parkour to find Ben. Its creative mechanics and dark humor make for a fun, challenging experience.
play as ben on the final level :troll:
this game is hard but fun:cyanthecool
This is one of the only games that truly connects you to your character, as in i felt like a fucking zombie trying to get the no damage runs... apart from that its a great game!!
fun but creepy game, its super fun!

One of the best game i played (I played a lot of games) and gosh it hard
Fun idea. Poor execution.
This game does not run properly on modern hardware, if you got more that 60 hz your game will be unplayable in some levels and you'll need to decrease your monitor hz or to limit fps on the game (this game does not even have vsync in its options).
Besides that you will encounter a lot of glitches and bugs that can make the experience quite frustrating.
Endgame still good.
6.5/10
wanna play a good chill game? you found it. Ben and Ed is a comforting chill game that is good for your mental health. have a good time playin it ;)
(ENGLISH + SPANISH)
I thank God that I had my save file from an earlier version of the game, with a lot of content already unlocked. If I had to start from scratch, I’m not sure I would’ve had the patience to make it to the end. Ben & Ed was a game that had huge fame on YouTube back in the day, and for good reason. At the time, it was considered a great game—not just for its fast-paced gameplay and unique aesthetic, but also for the intriguing lore and mysteries surrounding it. From the main ending to the mystery of Ben Drown (and no, it’s not related to the The Legend of Zelda creepypasta), the game offered a distinct experience that captured the attention of many players.
Recently, I decided to give it another go, playing it from start to finish, and I have to say it: this game has aged terribly. First of all, the optimization is a complete disaster. It runs like crap. The game is riddled with bugs everywhere: glitches in physics, random frame drops, and even the achievements are broken. I completed numerous tasks that should have unlocked achievements, but nothing happened. It’s frustrating because it feels like there’s no reward for your efforts.
As for the levels, I remember the game being challenging, but now it’s clear that it crosses the line into outright unfairness. Some sections are absurdly difficult, not because they require skill, but because the bugs and technical issues make them almost impossible to get through. This game tilted me harder than Sekiro or Dark Souls. And let me clarify: in those games, if you fail, it’s your fault—you know you made a mistake or lacked the skill to overcome the challenge. Here, it’s a different story. The bugs, broken physics, random frame drops, and weird situations, like Ed randomly flying off or getting stuck in the floor, make the experience far less enjoyable.
I can’t deny that Ben & Ed was a good game in its time. It was innovative, fresh, and the mysteries it offered added an interesting layer of depth. But as of today, unfortunately, it’s just not worth it. What was once a standout game is now a shadow of its former self. Combine that with the frustration caused by its terrible optimization and outdated design, and I simply can’t recommend it. If you’re curious and still want to try it, do so at your own risk, but honestly, I think there are better ways to spend your time and patience.

Its a fun game, around ~ 25 hours of play time.
its pretty good but i dont know why but when i re installed the game i started getting lower fps the further i go but it is probally my laptops fault it is really fun
YES
its fun to say the least i havent finished it yet ita a very long game.
I would not recommend this game.
The premise is quite good, but the physics are a bit wack and make you feel like you are being cheated out of a good run.
The game also doesn't work well on modern computers, even with a consistent fps of 240, i am somehow getting lag spikes, this is a pretty good problem as during these spikes the game keeps applying whatever movement I was previously doing until the spike stops.
Finally the game only supports exclusive fullscreen and a maximum resolution of 1920x1080 at an aspect ratio of 16:9 or 1920x1200 at an aspect ration of 16:10.
The game can not run on modern computers. The physics are god awful and every time you hit a blade you go flying in outer space, however it is still kinda fun tho but very infuriating. I would consider buying on sale.
Its so funny lmao
I could have done anything else with my life, yet i played this thing
This shit is so underrated, I loved this game when I was 15, and I love it now!
Very rage inducing but fun platformer with funny ragdoll physics and an interesting mechanic of throwing your head and losing your body parts and reattaching them. Some levels do have some performance issues though but other than that, really good game
its great if you like re4 i know that for sure lol, you will rage a lot just saying
Fun platformer with a little bit of rage mixed in.
The game is very charming and has a great soundtrack but it's just not fun. This game is difficult because of its inconsistency and broken physics. It feels like every stage is an ice level which as you can imagine is not great for a fast paced game like this; nor is having slow levels where you need to stay in a spotlight that go huge distances without checkpoints. The game tries to find a balance between fast and slow pacing but fails miserably. Overall everything is very tedious and slow.
Game cant run on modern hardware let alone a steamdeck the game came out in 2015 how in the hell is it this badly optimized almost 10 years later garbage game engine
best friends until ed eats ben fr
Not including games I got for free, this was the first game I bought on Steam.
I played it for days, it wasn't great, just okay. For the price it's definitely worth it.
great game got it when i first got my computer helped me to learn keyboard and mouse it was fun going from holding w to fully using most of the keys while this was 1 or 2 years ago i am thankful great game would recommend to people and new steam users
