There's an absolute boatload of things to do, even just in the plaza. At least half my playtime so far has just been playing in the arcade, and that hardly scratches the surface. Huge bang for your buck even at base price.
Also, the workshop features rock! It was SUPER easy to make a custom player model. Literally the first thing I did was make a custom character for myself and I had no trouble at all. All you really need for it is blender and an image editor of your choice for making textures. You don't need any plugins, sdks or anything, it's awesome.

I've played this game back then when it first came out and to see how much it has grown recently, I gotta say I feel alive and at peace in here! The activities in this game makes you feel like you're actually there whether it's at the casino or the arcade! I love this game and I am glad the devs are working hard to keep this game going! I would recommend with friends for a better and funner experience!
I went into this not expecting much, but as it turns out this game's hobby is clearing every bar known to man.
Upkeep and money, they can't figure either of these things without realizing that the other is equally important. I imagine in 5 years' time this will be nothing but a forgotten memory and the original GMod Tower will be reinstated as nothing but nostalgia bait. This game should be a little cheaper.
Never would suggest buying this game if you would like to be a prisoner to their needs with the mods not even following their own rules and be banned if you have a mind of your own on what fun is. No story mode, just gambling and mentally ill patients that aren't in the asylum yet.
I think they add too much bread into a loaf, I love a good sandwich but like I am never gonna have like 7 (wichs) in 3 days because the bread gets hard and nasty when you open the loaf after a few days. I sometimes get like the mini bags of bread mostly because I got a toaster that was too small for normal bread. I am not spending like 80 on a toaster that will evenly toast the bread. Mind you I do like it when the bread is is the perfect size and the toaster is really well made but like I don't eat toast enough to warrant buying an expensive one.
I usually just buy pre-made sandwiches from the shops because it is easy and fast I can have my sandwich now, and if you know a way of storing enough bread for weeks on end without freezing it then let me know, I don't have a way of eating the 15 slices before the bread goes bad.
Oh yeah and the game is alright I guess.
I have alot of fun in this game, especially with friends. The amount of games inside this single game is incredible to say the least. They just need polished because a lot of them are a buggy mess, but they are miles better than they were on release. I would recommend to play if you can get over the one super weird thing...all the furries and weirdos spewing their weirdness everywhere. There needs to be a larger presence of moderators. It has driven me to find other lobbies, condos, and have had friends to just quit the game completely. If they care about any stability in the long run, and keeping a steady player base, the bugs and weirdos need to be addressed.
Edit: As of writing the first part of my review I will no longer recommend the game. There was a discussion about the furries and femboys that play the game in the general chat, and I said that I hope they get the mental help they need, and I was banned for it. MEANWHILE, people can literally run around the plaza using their microphone to say the most racist things I've ever heard of my life, people can post furry porn in their condos, and they don't get a ban. Make it make sense. A truly fun game ruined by the community and devs.
pretty good but its better when you play during the day when there are more players online.
This is possibly the greatest party game to ever release on PC, and I stand by that firmly. There is so much to do here and yet it still gets seasonal updates from the great small dev team at PixelTail Games.
Even if you don't like all the other party games, this game is worth getting JUST for the mini golf mode, which is far superior to Golf with your Friends.

this game does get better slowly only problem is were all going to be 20 years more older by the time this game is 100% complete but makes sense because this game is being worked on by a grand total of ten people!

This game scratches an itch that went unscratched since I've played "Go Vacation" for the Wii. This is awesome. With every update there is more stuff to do. The community, at least on the eu servers, is super friendly. I love this game.
One of the best games I've ever played, so many fun things you can do with your friends. 10/10!
I'd say I enjoyed playing this game, if you asked me a year ago.
The game is so awfully optimized, even now, that its still extremely laggy even if there's less than 10 people in the plaza, on top of that its hard to even interact with people unless in a condo (which i never cared about) or in a minigame that is not extremely interactive (like minigolf), and unless you're an extrovert, most people who could talk, wouldn't want to unless asked to.
I'm not gonna rate this negative because I'm not trying to make it be negative, but I am indifferent on my opinion, cause while the game is...alright, I haven't played it in what feels like almost over a year, maybe more like 6 months, but still my opinion isn't reliable, I've met my fair share of dope people to be around on this game...and my fair share of snakes, but i digress, it was never towards me specifically.
Bottom line though, if the game was, y'know, actually optimized and playable, maybe I'd have a definitive opinion, but the fact I can't run this game reliably but other games such as 'Dead By Daylight' runs perfectly fine and smoothly, seems a bit unreasonable.
Also the fact they keep adding Minigolf and Ball race maps but still haven't fixed plaza optimization is wild.
Got to watch Jayvik scene comps in a movie theater as Handsome Jack. Truly, peak gaming.
Somehow "Tower Unite" has the best iteration of mini golf I've seen on steam. The other mini games are relatively high quality as well.
Not sure why I just couldn't get into this game, I wanted to. The controls and menus for building and placing things in your apartment are a nightmare and don't make sense. The money seems too easy to earn to play the games and stuff, which made the casino part kind of a let down. I didn't feel like I was working toward anything. The arcade games were janky, some didn't even work (had pucks stuck in the prize arm game). I think The Coin Game has much better physics and a more challenging system like survival mode; where you're really working toward earning every dollar and managing what you sell. Maybe I'll give this another try but first impression I just couldn't get myself immersed in this game.

I am incredibly socially anxious and default to isolation. Both old GMod Tower and now Tower Unite have always been a staple for me, because it does a fantastic job of not forcing me out of my corner but lets me not be alone either, and interact as much or little as I see fit.
I've always been tremendously grateful, and it's why I'm happy to support the game as I can, working in US Healthcare. It's not just that it was good for me in that way, but all the devs always have listened to the community for guiding development, so it persists being alive where other games while also good, seem dead because it's not changed in literal years or decades.
Immense appreciation for all the devs, for many fantastic years, and the everlasting promise of many years to come.

Amazingly fun and interactive game that transcends being just a game. This is the closest a game has gotten to being a virtual social hangout much like VRChat or Second Life but way better. You could completely ignore those aspects and just enjoy the condo building experience, or the many other activities such as the casino, arcade, or game worlds.
Where this game thrives is in its socialization aspect allowing for players to explore and interact with each other in the hub world. You can then travel with each other into a game world, or back to a condo, or remain in the hub world that offers many fun events and activities.
This game is rather niche with a small player count unfortunately. Hopefully in time, it becomes bigger as there is so much potential, especially with its steam workshop support allowing for extended customization for the player or condo building.
Like many I followed this game from Garry's Mod over.
I bought it on release and still play it every now and then when I get time.
This dev team is unbeatable. The consistency of updates and fixes is remarkable.
I will forever remember this game and team. It doesn't get enough praise...

honestly i appreciate this game a lot cause i generally just want to gamble fake money not against bots. youll meet a lot of losers tbh, lots of slurs. after all this time, i wish theyd fix the lag, especially when you fly around. id especially love if they fixed the glitches that cause your balance to not update properly, along with when youre playing roulette and have to change the chip amount every damn time because itll default to the lowest. otherwise, this game is perfect if you want to be down millions from roulette and waste countless hours on slot machines (itll hit, trust)
DEFINITELY recommend this game, very fun, especially with friends. Without friends you can definitely make some with others who are generally pretty good people. There's a Casino, a multistory arcade, car racing similar to mario kart, bowling, minigolf, pvp with guns similar to call of duty, lazer tag, a samll carnival with games and rides, a theater that you can play youtube videos in and everyone can see it, a nightclub that also plays youtube videos but generally recommended for songs. You can also own your own house, multiple even and design it how you want.
A LOT of steam workshop stuff including player characters, maps for stuff like minigolf, even house furniture and houses themselves.

Game feels mostly abandoned, very low amount of players and since it's a social game that's a serious problem. Devs probably need to focus on performance, advertising, and player retention but given that it's still apparently in early access I don't expect anything. Feels like a ghost town.
I'm very happy to be able to support Tower Unite. It's a nice place to hang out and play mini games every now and then, and the level of creativity they allow when creating homes or game maps is the best I've experienced. It's like a second home!

GMod Tower as a standalone, not quite as good but it's chill and there's a lot of achievements to get.
Good minigames, an engaging achievement system, regular seasonal events and updates.
If you played GMT, then this is the next evolution, and it is a fantastic one.
Super fun game, so much to do and explore! Great if you love achievement hunting and finding little Easter eggs. Updates come often and usually improve the game, and it's great to have friends to play with!
What can I say about this game? Well I first out about this game back in late 2021 and dove into it blindly not knowing much about this game honestly. But once I did I got super hooked and you can see my hours in this game. I met and made a lot of friends on this game, some bad memories and decent ones for sure.
I always do come back to this game cause there's so much to do in this game and just chill and play all sorts of things, and you can even make your own condos, and omg some of them are insanely well thought out and detailed. Their almost on the path to 1.0 as a full release which I am excited about, been through a lot of the patches for what they added and optimized and the small dev team deserves all the credit they deserve for sure. Cause this game did used to be Garry's Mod called GMod Tower and basically made their own game now as Tower Unite!
But if your looking for a chill social game with a decent amount of stuff to do, I definitely recommend the game, cause like I said the devs are always updating the game to add more things to do. You will get your hours worth of time and investment for sure! ^-^
Honestly a quite cozy game. Gives me the same vibe of like, those old Cartoon Network Resort flash games back in the old days, mixed with Super Mario Sunshine.
Relax, play games, and build. This game is amazing with friends. You can watch YouTube in-game with friends, or just to listen to music. The music for this game are all bangers.
Also the condo builds are great, you can use workshop items to customize your houses.

It's a very fun game. There is a lot of mini games to play and a great amount of them. Lot's of activities too like an arcade, theatre, racing, golfing, fishing and more. There's a lot of customisation you can do too with decorating your own condo's. It's overall a very fun game to play on your own or with friends. It also has great music!

What's Great:

From classic arcade games to unique challenges, there's something for everyone, you can customize your character to look exactly how you want or just grab any model from the workshop!
What Could Be Better:
The game can get a bit slow, especially when a lot of people are online.
While there are lots of games, it would be cool to see more unique experiences when it comes to interacting with others whilst playing.
A few bugs here and there, like any new game, it has some glitches that can be annoying but thankfully the DEVS are doing a superb job with the Hot Fixes!
Overall, Tower Unite is the game you have been waiting for to meet, play and chat with anyone around the world!

A true labor of love and the most interesting and enjoyable "metaverse" that I've played. There is so much to do in this game and the developers are constantly polishing and adding more to it.
Definitely not for everyone, and the game itself is not the reason to play. It's for the unique social experience you get from exploring and interacting with a small but diverse playerbase that will both delight you and leave you in awe at some of the things you will see.
This game is by far the most relaxing and comforting game I've played this year. You can play all sorts of games, watch videos with friends, gamble, go fishing, or hang out. You can earn credits in the game by just doing those things and you use these credits to customize your character, get upgrades, and even buy furniture to pimp the crap out of your condo. Yes, you get a condo for friends to join and hang out with. New updates and features are still being added to this day and they are gearing up for a 1.0 release date. Amazing game.

Game used to be full of players everywhere, talking and having fun.
Now you cant even find more than 5 players and noone is talking or interacting together.
Listen. Listen! Listen. There are so many places on the internet that purport to be the internet third space you've been waiting for, and they're all trying to sell you bitcoin. Not this one. 20 bucks and you get what is essentially Club Penguin for adults and it RULES. No microtransactions or bullshit like that, just a bunch of fun, casual games and neat environments to hang out with your buddies in.
Don't like the environments the game comes with? Guess what, FUCKER, you can make your own! I've been spending an entire day decorating my condo to look like Anthology of the Killer. If you're an obsessive weirdo like me, this game has what you WANT.
