If you enjoy downloading pre-cached shaders everyday for a game that breaks even more every update, this is the game for you, Most of the mini games in the plaza are janky, dont get me started on bowling. What are the devs doing, road to 1.00? Road to sampson option.

Fun game! Alot of minigames, and Steam Workshop added player customiziation. A more better, normal version of VRChat that's actually worth playing.

Performance still sucks it used be like bayonetta for the ps3 to me, but now it's bayonetta for wii U to me. Would love to see more games like this though.

The game has been in early access for 5+ years.
Do not buy the game or the "supporter packs" until the devs learn how to fix their dog-water servers and optimize the performance of the game.

Players constantly report bugs and the devs don't do anything about it.

Ever since I've heard of this game back when it was called Gmod Tower I've always wanted to play this game, but I never could for various reasons and circumstances. But now that I've got a more powerful gaming laptop I can confidently say that this is a great game. Even though I've only done bowling, theater watching and condo decorating so far, there's so much stuff to do that you won't get tired easily. I knew this game was something special when my first playthrough of it lasted around two hours. So this'll definitely be a game I could see myself racking up hours in.

I love the concept of Tower Unite. The idea behind it is great, but the updates are slow, and after a short time, you’ll run out of things to do.

I often find myself playing and then wondering, why not just play Rec Room, Roblox, or another game with more user-generated content? Those games let you jump into tons of party games with others, while Tower Unite feels limited in comparison.

I really want this game to do well, and I know the team is small and working on it. But from what I see in the developer updates, a lot of what they’re working on doesn’t seem to make the game more fun. Some of it feels like things players could already be making with the housing and user-generated tools (though not all of it).

I absolutely love this game but at the moment there are way too many downsides to recommend. Don’t get me wrong, this is one of the best “have fun with friends” type games with a fun Arcade, Bowling Alley, and Casino but those are where you always see the majority of players, leaving things like the Minigames area and Server Events completely dead. Some things require 2 to 4 players to start so it’s impossible to even try them out. The game isn’t exactly dead with they’re being at least 2 servers (one on the East Coast and the other on the West Coast) that are almost full with 2 having about half capacity. The other major issue I have with the game is the UGC/Workshop content being extremely unoptimized. I have a decent PC that can run games like Doom Eternal and Apex Legends at max graphics with 60fps with no issue but have a hard time running the game in populated servers and I only assume this is because of the Custom Avatars. The other big turn away is the price where I got the game for about 50-70% off a few years ago and have been wanting to get it for a few friends but haven’t seen it go on sale. I do think that having the game be paid for is a much better option than doing something like VR chat dose with a subscription service but I think $20 (USD) is too much. Then again the game is still an alpha and has been for quite a while so I hope as time goes on they figure out a way to iron out some of the issues like figuring out a way to optimize the Avatars/UGC and maybe drop the price for the full game release. Again I absolutely love this game and have a blast playing (when I can) and only wish for it to get better.

We have guns, fishing, and Gianni as a voice actor. This is now Ultrakill, and Ultrakill is great. So this is great.

This has the best mini golf it is way better than golf with friends

This is a retirement simulator where you can play games and do interior decorating and I highly recommend it. While this game could use polish it's one of the best multiplayer experiences on steam i can think of and I'm surprised it's not more popular than it is now.

A really great hangout game. It makes it really easy to get together with your friends that might not all usually play the same games, and with minimal setup, just need the game and you're good to go. It's hard to describe it's charm, it has its own vibe I can't really compare to anything else. The steam workshop models make it easy for everyone to just grab a model they find charming or amusing and mess around. I've kept coming back to it now and then since I first picked it up years ago, so it's staying power is remarkable as well. Great music, and no intrusive micro-transactions. Definitely recommend checking out with your friend group if you're curious about it.

This game deserves so much more attention. The amount of dedication to adding new mechanics over the life of the game by the devs is astounding. This game has more features than most other arcade games combined. The ability to use a media player with friends , or how customizing your condo is a fun way to show off your accomplishments and (in game currency-no micro transactions) purchases makes it more than a game but a community. I also love the fact that there's over 600 achievements, it keeps the game challenging yet fun.

It's Scope Creep: The Game, but that kinda makes it perfect for getting some friends together for a night every other month or so and seeing what's new. Also, the OST slaps for some reason.

Genuinely had the best time ever playing Tower Unite with my friends this past summer, and I wouldn't trade those moments for the world :)

Not sure if its "Good" yet, but 20$ isn't that much, and its a novel fun concept for what i got now.

I am like... 99% sure this is a Remake of a Garry's mod Gamemode, but that's neither here nor there.

I had several hours of fun with friends, and thus it gains my approval.

It's a really fun game, I bonded with my friends over this game and our friendship is really strong because of it. This game contains a lot of memories for me and it's also super nostalgic because of Gmod Tower. Overall an awesome game.

This game is a total hidden gem. It's the perfect social hub to chill with your friends or make some new ones. You can watch youtube videos together, play a bunch of carnival and arcade games, and bet away your earnings at the casino betting it all on black. If you do manage to keep a little stack of money, spend it decorating the house of your dreams with no limitations.

It's criminal that more people don't know about it, but I've played very casually over the last 4 years or so and always recommend it to anyone who just wants a lowkey game to BS around with. This is a lot like VRChat if VRChat was actually a game.

played a ball race level called horse and it used 15GB of my RAM. 10/10

i can't remember how long i've owned this game (very early on years ago) and while i don't play often anymore, this game still holds such a special place in my heart. i love logging in every so often for a week or so and seeing how much the game has grown. also the mini-golf is one of my fave things on this game. keeps me occupied for hours. can't wait to see how much more this game grows!

The condos can actually be so complicated and I have STILL not mastered it. But I'm trying man, I'm trying.
A very very fun game to play with friends. We spent an entire night crying and laughing because by god, minigolf can be a war zone.

Wanted to go and play all the games with my hubby, but couldn't get into it as the character customisation is rubbish.

Was looking forward to this but the customisation is absolute trash, save your cash.

THIS IS a big relunctant YES. THIS GAME REALLY NEEDS sum major major work on the physics part of games like mini gold and billards/pool. There is sum good fun to have but aspects just fail, glitch and destroy the fun. media player would be good if it worked but consistantly fails and when it does fail you cant skip your own track. pool table glitch out, balls disappear same with mini golf, im on one part of the course then it puts me somewhere else entirely. the game has been in beta for a while now. the odds on roulette who really knows but they are not 50/50. playing pool with another person is insane but by myself is tolerable. its like it takes the data and then send it to the other user to interprit differently
jan 2025 hope things improve in the next 12 months.

There's an absolute boatload of things to do, even just in the plaza. At least half my playtime so far has just been playing in the arcade, and that hardly scratches the surface. Huge bang for your buck even at base price.

Also, the workshop features rock! It was SUPER easy to make a custom player model. Literally the first thing I did was make a custom character for myself and I had no trouble at all. All you really need for it is blender and an image editor of your choice for making textures. You don't need any plugins, sdks or anything, it's awesome.

Woo, tangent. Point is, this game is great.

I think a lot of the problems this game has would be solved by more people playing it. I could elaborate on that too, but I won't so you'll buy it and play it.

I've played this game back then when it first came out and to see how much it has grown recently, I gotta say I feel alive and at peace in here! The activities in this game makes you feel like you're actually there whether it's at the casino or the arcade! I love this game and I am glad the devs are working hard to keep this game going! I would recommend with friends for a better and funner experience!

I went into this not expecting much, but as it turns out this game's hobby is clearing every bar known to man.

Upkeep and money, they can't figure either of these things without realizing that the other is equally important. I imagine in 5 years' time this will be nothing but a forgotten memory and the original GMod Tower will be reinstated as nothing but nostalgia bait. This game should be a little cheaper.

Never would suggest buying this game if you would like to be a prisoner to their needs with the mods not even following their own rules and be banned if you have a mind of your own on what fun is. No story mode, just gambling and mentally ill patients that aren't in the asylum yet.

I think they add too much bread into a loaf, I love a good sandwich but like I am never gonna have like 7 (wichs) in 3 days because the bread gets hard and nasty when you open the loaf after a few days. I sometimes get like the mini bags of bread mostly because I got a toaster that was too small for normal bread. I am not spending like 80 on a toaster that will evenly toast the bread. Mind you I do like it when the bread is is the perfect size and the toaster is really well made but like I don't eat toast enough to warrant buying an expensive one.
I usually just buy pre-made sandwiches from the shops because it is easy and fast I can have my sandwich now, and if you know a way of storing enough bread for weeks on end without freezing it then let me know, I don't have a way of eating the 15 slices before the bread goes bad.

Oh yeah and the game is alright I guess.

I have alot of fun in this game, especially with friends. The amount of games inside this single game is incredible to say the least. They just need polished because a lot of them are a buggy mess, but they are miles better than they were on release. I would recommend to play if you can get over the one super weird thing...all the furries and weirdos spewing their weirdness everywhere. There needs to be a larger presence of moderators. It has driven me to find other lobbies, condos, and have had friends to just quit the game completely. If they care about any stability in the long run, and keeping a steady player base, the bugs and weirdos need to be addressed.

Edit: As of writing the first part of my review I will no longer recommend the game. There was a discussion about the furries and femboys that play the game in the general chat, and I said that I hope they get the mental help they need, and I was banned for it. MEANWHILE, people can literally run around the plaza using their microphone to say the most racist things I've ever heard of my life, people can post furry porn in their condos, and they don't get a ban. Make it make sense. A truly fun game ruined by the community and devs.

pretty good but its better when you play during the day when there are more players online.

This is possibly the greatest party game to ever release on PC, and I stand by that firmly. There is so much to do here and yet it still gets seasonal updates from the great small dev team at PixelTail Games.

Even if you don't like all the other party games, this game is worth getting JUST for the mini golf mode, which is far superior to Golf with your Friends.

this game does get better slowly only problem is were all going to be 20 years more older by the time this game is 100% complete but makes sense because this game is being worked on by a grand total of ten people!

i gambled for 5 hours and didn't get the jackpot, very good arcade games on here too but if you gamble get the game and i'll join in on the gambling :D
