Мы поднимаем классический Man Or Monster (простая воксельная браузерная игра) на новый уровень, новыми дополнениями, которых не было в то время. Мы добавили поддержку контроллера, полноэкранную ретро графику, много нового контента и возможность играть вместе, локально на разделённом экране, а это очень круто, если мы можем сами так сказать!Особенности

I used to play the game on flash and I loved it, and as much as I enjoyed playing the game once again, the game is riddled with bugs
Such as:
- randomly getting stuck in place as monster.
- being flinged into the air as a monster.
- being flinged around the map as human.
- overral game balancing (a lot of monster abilites among with the monsters are completly useless, while spamming the tnt solos all monsters).
- the game not counting progress towards achievments correctly(if you replay the same map 30 times, you can get the achievments for beating all 30 maps).
- in the monster customising menu when you give a monster a tail and then switch to no tail, the tail remains.
[*] not being informed that customising the monster changes it stats, it's a really important mechanic which isn't mentioned anywhere, this is especially flutrating since you aren't told which stats will change
My biggest issue is with the Master Blaster achievment, which requires you to use 1000 special attacks making it the longest achievment in the game.
Trying to finish the it I bought 500+ fireballs in order to get the achievment, just to realise they don't count as a special attack, in fact only the first monster's unlocked ability counts as a special attack, which I didn't know of because it isn't stated anywhere in the game.
Making me waste unnecessary time with the product, and take away from my personal life
All this with the games steep pricing makes me not suggest buying it to anyone, nostalgia really isn't worth it guys and gals.
Iconic
Reminded of this when Pawperty Damage dropped. Underrated gem of a Kaiju Romper/Boss Basher. Classic arcade action with a bevy of options make this the gold standard for the "Big monster smash" genre of games.
this game is my and my cousins childhood, So i bought this game without thinking. Probably i will play this 10-15 hour. Thanks Miniclip, for this good game

I first played Man or Monster on Miniclip's site. As soon as I discovered this game, I wanted it to relive those days.
PROS:
The destruction is fun
Better than the web version
It can be satisfying to quickly kill giant monsters
Two different experiences for the price of one
CONS:
Some achievements are earned even if you do their criteria on levels you've already earned it (whether it's just clearing it, getting a high enough score, or doing it fast enough) on.
Other achievements are tedious to earn (but don't confuse tedium with difficulty)
Overall, I'd recommend this game.

Positive:
gameplay 8/10: Though a bit difficult at times, the game is pretty fun. Especially when you play as the monster
graphics 10/10: I don't know how they did it, but they managed to make this game look both retro and modernized at the same time. It kind of has the same look as Teardown where the game is pixely, but has realistic textures
remaster 10/10: this is a great recreation of man or monster from miniclip! The new features like the voice acting and being able to mount units are all just great.
Negative:
some levels can be absurdly difficult.
The should have kept the name as "touch of class" instead of changing it to "fart attack"
The game is a bit overpriced, especially considering this version of the game came out while the flash one was still playable
Other notes:
I don't know if this is new to this version, but sometimes the monster will just track me down instead of attacking the building and units. The annoying part is that they are impossible to outrun early in the game.
You can fart and puke on people.
If you shoot the roof cat near the spawn area on Rome, it will screech. this implies that the devs intentionally allowed the so-called "good guy" to kill cats.
Final score: 9/10
though a little repetative, this is a great recreation of a classic flash game. Very nostalgic for me

Microsoft wish there random name generator was this good.
Original can suck it, on this version u get to terrorise Paris as a midget.
Don't tell the devs, i beat the 1st 5 lvls w 1 tank and an auto clicker.
I love that if you get a name that increases your size, you can nearly wipe out the whole city with only 2 abilities.
Really fun game, Both play styles are incredibly satisfying. Lots of great customization options. I'd recommend turning off the "retro" filter in the graphics menu, which basically just downscales the resolution and makes it harder to see. I'm not sure why this setting is on by default, it makes the game much more frustrating. That aside, this is one of the most satisfying games to just pick up and play.
Super underrated arcade style game we got here. Although could use more content as it currently lacks in features that could keep you playing for hours. Still worth the buy.
Love the art direction and the gameplay is as simple and bare-bones as I'd expect.. in a good way.
Playing as the man you setup defenses and protect the city.

old negative review: It's not a bad game, but there are some technical issues. The game stutters on a 1050 TI, despite looking like a retro game.

really is just a great game its the man or monster but super addition :D highly fun and u should try manormonster.io to try the free version that is not really like a free version more just an io game version
Really fun game in which you can either save the town or choose to destroy it, depending on your character choice. Hence the name, 'Super Man Or Monster' which is fitting to say the least, given the old school look and feel of the game. Not sure if I would have paid $12 for it, happily atleast. To be fair that is mostly due to the fact that I got it for half off when it was on sale.
VERY NICE GAME! MY KID AND I LIKED IT VERY MUCH! please allow multiple type of units for the MAN to initially deploy in splitscreen and Increase the number. Looking forward for more improvements! Thanks for this cool game =)
Alright, let me get this out of the way first. This is my favorite steam game. Its so fun. And ill tell you why.
Pros
-Tons of awesome monsters to pick from and destroy stuff with!
-Man is super epic to play as, seeing giant monsters charge at you is so epic and scary!
-Pretty long, 2 campaigns with multiple takes on the game, and are both equally fun to play.
-Graphics. I dont like pixelated games usually but this is by far my favorite pixelated game. I love the art style, it fits the game really well!
-Awesome music! The chiptunes sound just right in the game, and theyre super catchy and epic.
-Splitscreen! Its super fun to play with friends! Tons of fun times!
Now onto cons. A few but they arent to big, doesnt ruin the game at all.
Cons
-No monster vs monster. When you think of giant monsters you think of them fighting, but no fighting here.
-Lacking in game modes. Only 2 campaigns, and while fun you just do the same thing over and over.
-Splitscreen. Yes it is a pro but it is a little weird. As man you only get 1 type of infantry you can spawn, and you have to find crates to get more. So to even make it fair, I have to act really stupid as the monster in split screen and not destroy to much. And most monsters are way to op, its almost never fair for man since you only get 1 choice of infantry, and get random pickups. Only really fairyou pick weaker monsters.
-No online!? I want to play with my friends on steam, and since theirs no online i have to invite my actual friends over, and thats only sometimes if they even can, reducing my enjoyment of the game. Also meaning i cant play with my steam friends. I know you would have to rebuild the entire game but its something that would have been nice.
Game is definetly worth the cash. Buy it if you have enough, the developers deserve it.
Fun concept, hilarious game. I thoroughly enjoyed setting up my turrets and tanks while waiting for the monster to show up. Will definitely play more.
THE ONLY THING THAT PREVENTS THIS FROM BEING A PERFECT 10/10 GAME IS THE LACK OF THE MONSTERS BEING ABLE TO USE ALL OF EACHOTHERS ATTACKS needs update for that AND the human has one non unlockable weapon under the screen of tanks and stuff and i somehow wound up with 31 man coins but PLEASE GIVE THE MONSTERS AS FREE USE OF ALL OF THEIR WEAPONS AS THE VERY OP MAN! some things extremely challenging especially the time bonuses on missions! All of the monsters need the fart attack like in the original Man Or Monster LOL. but in every other way great job :) !!!
P.S.If they all farted with the original Man Or Monster animations when they use the Fart Attack it would make my day. update needed.
Great game, it's definantly the best kaiju game out there, without even being a licensed godzilla product, it catures every essential feature oe should have. The game it captures it all perfectly how fun smashing or defending cities should be.
The gameplay is fun for both campaigns and i can see myself running through the game multiple times just for fun.
The developers are open and accept reasonable critisism and are well deserving of support. This game deserves a great deal of love and attention in order to allow these brilliant guys to carry on with further projects and titles, be they using this IP or another. Worth the price and worth the time Visually stunning, designs are unique and iconic in their own way without feeling stale. Designs of everything suits the game perfectly and are aesthetically pleasing.
Super Man or Monster is a fantastic game that hearkens back to the days when video games were fun! You play as man or monster either destroying a city or trying to stop a monster from the same thing. Fun gameplay, great visuals and a ton of heart make this a game worth getting. There's also two player couch co-op for some monster blasting and city smashing good times. The game boasts 3 objectives per level that can be completed including score, time and hidden object recovery. I really love what the devs have done here, and look forward to future projects from them. My only real negative here is that the monsters are at times painfully slow moving, but that's really there to balance things out bit so not much could really be done to improve this minor annoyance.
